A/N Ok guys, I only have a vague idea about what I want this story to be, but it's not going to be anything big, so I won't include tags or tell you what it's about....yet. Also, I just want to say, I ship: AppleDash, Rarijack, SunDash, Sunset x Flash (Idk), SunLight and FlashLight. I don't think that's all the ones I ship, but these ones might (might not) appear in this book, and they are in no particular order. I hope you enjoy...

Sunset Shimmer's PoV
—Flash Back - 1 year ago—
I stood against the wall and put in my earplugs.
"I'm sorry Sunset, this isn't going to work." I guess he said it for a good cause. Me and Flash Sentry had been dating for about a year, but just this morning, he told me that he no longer wanted me. The thing is, he also told me something else, that he had a thing for Twilight, and I wanted to be the good person, so I tried to help him through it.
—Back to now—
Flash: "Hey Sunset? I knew I'd find you here." It was Flash Sentry. It's been a year since he dumped me, but we have rarely spoken since.
Me: "How?"
Flash: "Sunset, I know you. I loved you. You told me this is 'where you went to think'." He said putting his arm around my shoulder. I took it back off.
Me: "Look Flash, it was your decision, and if your trying to get me back, I'm done. You had the right to leave me anyway. I was using you. I'm sorry." I turned away from him, however he decided to pull me back around.
Flash: "I'm not trying to get you back. It's just...well you did blush a little bit when you held my hand."
Me: "Forget it! I have somewhere to be anyway. Find someone else to flirt with." I began to walk off. "Oh, and I was pushing your arm away....not holding your hand," I added.
I walked back home by myself. Honestly, Flash told me he didn't want us to be together anymore, and now...well, does he want me back? I think so...I hope not. He has much better chances with other girls. After doing a quick stop to the supermarket, I walked home and got ready for bed, it was really late. Maybe he was just tired and not being himself. I opened up my diary and flicked back to a year ago, when I first asked Flash out.

Dear Diary,
You will never guess what, but I finally did it. I asked Flash Sentry out. And.....he said yes! This is the best day of my life. I pretty much have the rest of my life planned out in my head. We will get married, live on a remote island, and be together forever! We won't have children, if that's ok with him of course. I can't believe this. I can't wait for our first kiss!

Dear Diary,
I thought we would get married, but clearly not. That's right, Flash dumped me. "Sunset look, I know I loved you, but..." And then I asked him what he was going to say, because obviously I like getting to the point, and he said: "I'm sorry Sunset, this isn't going to work. I can't love two people at once, and I choose Twilight." And then he walked away, and I started crying. Why would he do that to me? At least I had AppleJack and Rainbow Dash to comfort me. I didn't want to speak to Twilight. It's not like we aren't friends, I just can't face her at the moment. I don't think I'll ever fall in love again.

Of course I had got over it now. Maybe tomorrow I would speak to him, ask him if we could maybe be friends, nothing more. He clearly doesn't hate me... I closed my diary and got into bed, and managed to drift myself off to sleep thinking about what I should do.
