Things We Killed

Ames:

I would not let Azun throw away a shot which was rightfully mine.

There were rumors that Mike and Luke were to return soon. Then no one but them would be a leader. I needed to stand up and be the leader the people needed, not let Azun, the one people wanted, lead them.

I used to be a General of the army, honest ans doing my best to win every fight. Luke always told me that a general shouldn't be seen and should always be the one reporters went to.

So I, left my troops each battle, fleas to the news reporters. I told them to "always succeed" but I didn't think every troop would come back dead.

Malison had never seen a more successful leader than Luke - he took our planet from a farmland to a most powerful planet in the universe. But Azun's tales didn't add up. Someone was lying to the public, twisting their words. It couldn't be Luke, could it?

The people wanted to hear what Luke tells them.

But maybe, sometimes what they hear is twisted up.

I wanted to see justice and peace restored to the rightful places in the city system. This was an unfortunate situation where I didn't know what side is correct.

I just don't know.

I was starting to see Azun's points he made about Luke. But, if Azun wouldn't help me become a leader, I would make sure that he could never help anyone else ever again.

I would kill my brother if he didn't help me get back to the top.
