Flashback:
My mom was staying late in the shop to finish a project, so I stayed with her. She was designing a drill bit that she hoped would help her earn more money. If it worked than our lives would change.

As she worked I passed her supplies that she needed. I told her many corny jokes and puns. She smiled and told me my father would have been proud of me.

My mothers workshop was in the back of the shop. It was very gloomy and creepy during the night. We were the only people there. Every sound echoed threw the dark, cold, creepy workshop and the warehouse. I didn't mind that it was creepy though, I was with my mom. If i did wander threw the shop, me and mom would keep in touch with mores code for "I love you" We would walk threw the entire shop when it was time to leave.

Tonight, mom forgot her keys. She smiled at me and promised she would come back. I didn't know this was the last smile I would get from her. She went back into the warehouse to get her keys.

Mom had only been gone for a few heartbeats when the door mom went threw slammed shut and the door to get out locked itself. I screamed and pulled at the door, but it would't budge. I sobbed.

"It is no use my hero, she can not hear you." someone said.

I turned and found someone who resembled Tia.

"I am not Tia, i just resemble her"

"Wh-What did you do with my M-M-Mother?"

"Loyal to your mother. how cute. You can not live because one day you will destroy me. I can't allow you to do that."

"I..I don't w-want to kill anyone!"

"Very wise choice."

I realized with a jolt that this strange woman was asleep. Her cloths were made of earth. It was dry and black, churning and shifting around this strange lady. I felt like she had just risen from the grave. I knew she would be way worse than she was now if she were awake.

"I can not kill you yet, the fates would not allow me to. But I can break your spirit young hero. I can tear you apart from the inside out."

"Leave my mom alone!" The woman shuffled towards me. She was like an avalanche of rocks.

"How can you stop me?" she said with a creepy smile on her face.

I screamed as flames grew around me. I sobbed and then I blacked out.

I woke up in a ambulance. A parametric tried to be kind. She told me that the warehouse had burned down and my mother hadn't made it out. I felt empty inside. She died and it was my fault.
