Why dies Indian parenting have to suck so much?

It doesn't let us breathe and pulls the air out of our lungs.
It doesn't gives us space to breathe, and be ourselves.
It doesn't help us instead punishes us,
It doesn't give us power to stand up for ourselves and be subjugated.
It doesn't give us the freedom to make our own decision and to stand on our own feet.
It doesn't give us the time to choose our field but impose something on us.
It doesn't trust us and make it so damn hard for us to trust others.
It doesn't empower us instead cut our knees from under.

Why does it fail to understand that
We are old enough to make our god damn decisions.
We are capable and have the calibre to decide the very simplest things related to my life.
We need space to decide and for heaven sale do not make our decisions for ourselves.
And yet none of this is going to change
Why because it is

THE MIGHTY INDIAN PARENTING!
