Jazara's POV
I got out of the black car and slammed the door shut as it sped off without its headlights. I stood near the back entrance of the building in my usual all black attire. My dark hair and complexion helped me to blend in with the shadows. As I stood in the cold night with the breeze whipping my curly-ish hair around my face, I remembered the driver's last words to me...
Be careful darling.
Good luck.
Be smart.
Get back in any way you can.
I looked back to where the car once was, only to see an empty, dark, and moist street. There was no turning back now.
I turned back towards the entrance and began walking in that direction. I was nervous and needed to calm myself down before I walked inside. But I was also excited, I had never done anything like this before. I took out my phone, put my ear plugs in, and pressed shuffle. I knew I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings , but as All Time Low's Kids In the Dark came on, I did not regret my decision. I always listened to music that I connected to. (I put the song above if u want to listen along :) and the pic above is almost like the ally she is in)
As the chorus came, I quietly sang along as I approached the door leading to an adventure...
They left us alone / The kids in the dark
To burn out forever / Or light up a spark
We come together / State of the art
We'll never surrender / The kids in the dark
So let the world sing,
"What a shame / What a shame / Beautiful scars / On critical veins, "
Come together / State of the art
We'll never surrender / The kids in the dark / The kids in the dark...
As I shook off the memory that the song brought, I shut off my music and prepared myself before knocking on the door. It quickly opened, letting out a flood of light that blinded me for a second. A small girl who was around my age appeared and studied me closely. She had brown curls that cascaded around her pale face with stunning hazel eyes that flickered in the light coming from the lamp above the door.
"Bonjour. Mademoiselle Jezabel?" she asks me.
I try to put on my best French accent before answering, "Oui."
She smiled, "Welcome. Follow me right this way, I'll be helping you this evening."
Once I stepped inside, I silently cheered as I followed her down the hall. I was in without any complications so far. Now was my time to begin my work.
"So, Miss Jezabel. What is it like modeling around the world? I've heard it was very different in America than here in Paris." she asked, startling me out of my trance, as she whisked ahead of me.
"Ummm..." I stall while trying to come up with a quick answer for I have never really modeled before.
"Well, it is a very interesting experience. The people are definitely different and sometimes it is hard to adjust to..." I trailed off as the girl opened the door to my room which was breathtaking. I had never seen anything like it before, considering I never really had a whole room to myself ever in my entire life.
The girl waved her hand in from of my face and giggled, "Miss, miss, are u okay?"
"Yes. It is just so... different."
"Yes. Well you can admire it later, but I need to get you ready because you start in less than 45 minutes." she sweetly told me as she began tugging my jacket off.
I stood, unsure of what to do or where to go. My crash course training didn't give me enough information on how to deal with this. I looked around my room for something that might lead to what I was looking for but I didn't see anything that could lend a clue.
Next thing I knew, the girl was pushing me towards the chair in front of the simple mirror with lights around it as she flicked on the switch and set up her makeup and hair supplies.
"You are lucky you have nice skin. That means less work for you and me." she smiled.
I agreed because I absolutely HATED makeup. I found it very annoying and a waste of time.
Minutes later, the girl lined up the clothes I was going to have to quick-change into. She plucked the last outfit off the wrack and thrust it to my face with a short "Here."
I took the outfit and slipped it on without hesitation and I breathed a sigh of relief. It fit perfectly.
To pass the few minutes that remained before I went on, we planned my changing routine. I knew how to do this thanks to my many years of performing in live theater with numerous roles such as Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Cinderella in Cinderella, and many, many more. I was happy that we got along very well. Perhaps I could even get some valuable information out of her.
The girl looked down at her watch, "Oh SHIT! You need to gogogogolikerightnow. Hurryhurryhurry!"
As she pushed me out the door I realized that I never learned her name.
"What is your name?" I turned to ask her only to see her face of shock.
"Sally." she told me with a puzzled look, shyly looking down at her feet.
"Well, thank you Sally."
"Welcome. Now GO!" she looked up and shoved me one last time before I walked to my place in line before I went onstage.
I took a deep breath. I could feel the adrenaline that I was so addicted to pumping through my veins as I stepped out on the runway.

Michael's POV
I stood in the back of the building as the show went on. The music was blaring, but I found this incredibly boring. I mean, yeah, the girls were ridiculously hot, but that was all that was going on for this damn show. All the people acted as if this was the time of their lives, as if they LIKED it. I just didn't see how people could be so interested in something so... uneventful. At least one of them could have a freaking wardrobe malfunction or something to make this all more fun.
I sighed as I moved through the shadows, trying to get a good look at the stage without anyone noticing. I was looking for her. I didn't know what she looked like, or who she was, but I assumed it be easy to see her amongst the professionals. I'm sure she would stand out. But once I found her, I needed to get to work. There was no way I could let her find it.
