No...
~With Jackson; August 24th, 2023~
Soon after the show, I went out with the girls and Rossy, just to celebrate another successful event.
It's really awesome to see, especially when Queen's Quest had a lot of fun out there and I was watching every second of it.
The girls in Queen's Quest are actually very nice to be around, and they're probably the best of friends that I've ever had.
Let me give some context on who they are:
Utami Hayashishita
The leader of Queen's Quest, also known as "The Red Queen" due to handing out a rose to a fan during her entrance. Unknowingly to her, she is cute, and is always laidback with the amount fucks she gives, which is zero, always will to strike up a pleasant conversation, even though before wrestling, Utami always had social issues growing up. And why does she dress up like a guy? Well, it's more of her style since she's been a tomboy growing up, at least from what I know, because her own family's been on a reality TV show from 2006 to 2013, can't remember the name, and that's how she rose to fame before becoming a pro wrestler.
AZM (pronounced "Azumi")
She's one of my best friends and always had a shoulder to cry on for anyone going through a tough time, always full of love and joy for everyone around her. Not only that, I learned she started dating Michael Sytch, an Deathmatch wrestler in Japan, and is the son of Tammy Sytch, or "Sunny" in WWE and the late, great Chris Candido. From what I heard, he was abused by her after Chris passed in 2005, and Azumi helped him get over his trauma and becoming one of the only friends he has in the world, but that lead to them falling in love later on. It makes me happy to see her happy and being in a relationship with a second generation wrestler and a child abuse survivor.
(A/N: If you guys haven't seen "Lift Me Up" yet, the AZM fanfic...
...then I highly recommend you give it a read when you get the chance.)
Saya Kamitani
I consider her the sweetheart of the group, who always looked after everyone, whether a coworker or fan. I remember that she was harassed at a meet and greet by a couple of fans until I had to step in and put them in their place before I stayed at her table the entire time, making sure that it all went smoothly and she was okay. She's a very sweet girl and she's the flag bearer, literally, for Queen's Quest, as she carries a flag with the logo on it whenever entering for a match, and the same can go for the next girl...
Chie Nagatani (Lady C)
She's so tall, almost the same height as me, which is 5' 10", and I'm only 6 feet. She's a former home economics teacher turned pro wrestler, and while she's still a rookie in wrestling, she more than made up for it by learning quick in training and when she's in the ring. I can definitely see her potential holding the World of Stardom Championship, or "the red belt" as they call it in the future. Whereas her personality, she's about as adorable as a cat, hence her ring name, Lady C, when she enters wearing cat ear headphones for a match, but she is unbelievably sweet towards everyone around her and is so relatable that Himeka and Maika scared her half to death during gaming livestream at one point.

Hina
Hina is a girl who I consider one of my best friends, as she's one of the nicest girls I've ever met in my life. She's still in high school and always showing up to work, to show that she wanted to be a wrestler, like her younger sister, Rina, another sweet girl, who always adored Hana and always dressed like her, even though she doesn't do that now since she's in Oedo Tai.
Miyu Amasaki
Such a sweet girl with a sweet face. I will be the first to admit that I had a crush on her until I learned she was 20 or so. Too young for me, but if any lucky guy around her age managed to get with her, I'm happy that she's happy, that's what matters.
All of these girls have the skills and the ability to become the best wrestlers in the world, as they proved it to everyone they meet, especially with how approachable they happen to be.
Anyway, as we are our dinner, Chie and I talked while everyone else was hanging out, and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a crush on her non-stop, and I do, but I haven't told her because it would be rude in my eyes, so I didn't tell her.
However, out of nowhere, I felt a buzz on my phone and I saw that it was a tweet from Hunter.
I didn't read what it said yet, but when I got to his X account, what I saw not only changed my life forever, my heart dropped...
...and so did my phone, out of my hand, making a noise on the table with me being in so much shock that it got everyone's attention.
I was stunned to do anything, even speak, but Chie, the closest to me, was asking me if I was okay when my eyes started to water.
Chie: Jackson-chan. What wrong? Are you okay?
I looked at her and I slowly showed her the tweet while looking away, and as she read it, she gasped in shock with her hand over her mouth.
Azumi: ジャクソンちゃん、どうなってるの? (Jackson-chan, what's going on?)
Utami: それは何ですか? (What is it?)
Miyu: 何? (What?)
Saya: 一体何? (The hell?)
I managed to speak a few words, but I was so broken I couldn't hold it in.
Me (voice cracking): Windham... my brother...
I struggling to find the words to tell them the news, but I couldn't hold it in anymore and just cried into one of my hands as Chie, without hesitation, pulled me into her arms, shushing me and rubbing my back as I cried.
The entire group of girls, including Rossy, were sympathetic almost immediately as Chie kept hugging me, helping me let it all out and I had to hug her back.
I couldn't believe that my oldest brother, Windham, has passed away. I looked up to him, he was my role model, and he's gone. He's not here anymore.
I knew I was embarrassing the girls and Rossy and I had to apologize before I did it some more. It wasn't my intention to embarrass them with me crying about my brother dying.
Me (voice cracking): I'm sorry if I'm embarrassing you all. If I ruined your dinner, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Chie: Iē. (No.) Do not apologize. Let it out. It okay.
Azumi was tearing up and, being the sweetest girl I've ever met, she came around and hugged me from behind and soon enough, Utami and the rest of the girls came around and group hugged me as I just cried even more.
I'm really surrounded by people who care about me, even if they don't know who my family is, but I can definitely appreciate that from all of them.
Rossy came up and patted my shoulder, and said this...
Rossy: We with you, Jackson-chan. Whatever you need, we here for you.
Me (voice cracking): Rossy-san, is it okay if I go home to my family? They'll need me.
Rossy: Of course, you go home and spend time with them. Come back whenever you are ready.
Me (voice cracking): Thank you.
He hugged me and I had to leave before I went insane.
God, I can't believe Windham's gone.
~With Chie~
Seeing Jax this upset about his brother dying, it's heartbreaking. He was inconsolable. I mean, he couldn't be calmed down.
I don't have a brother of my own so I can't imagine what it's like to lose a sibling, but he has everyone in Stardom, who will always be here for him.
However, I just know that he's gonna need someone to help him through this time because of how much he looked up to his big brother.
As he left, I looked towards Rossy and I had to ask him this...
Me: ロッシーさん、私も一緒に行ってもいいですか?一人にならないように。 (Rossy-san, do you mind if I go with him? Just so he's not alone?)
He nodded as I got up to check on Jax, knowing that he was gonna need someone to keep him together, and I managed to find him before he left.
Me: Jackson-chan!
He looked at me in shock as I had to get him to open the door.
Me: Jackson-chan.
Jackson: What is it?
Me: Is it okay if I come with you to brother's funeral, so you not alone?
Jackson: You don't know who my family is.
Me: That true, but Rossy-san said I can go with you. I want to be with you, making sure you are okay.
Jackson: Then let me drive you to your apartment so you can pack some clothes, and then I'll go to mine, and then we'll get to flying. Is that okay with you?
Me: I okay with that.
I went into his passenger seat and before he could cry again, I hugged him, making sure that he knows that he has friends who care about him. I was even letting him know that he can let it out on me, as I can allow him to do that since it's that hard of a time for him right now.
After some time, he drove me to my apartment and then I packed my clothes along with some hygiene stuff and when Jackson was done packing his things, we got to the airport, where we flew to the next WWE taping, where the place was paying tribute to Windham, and where I would be fascinated with the history regarding Bray Wyatt and how he impacted a lot of people.
~With Jackson; The Next Day~
When Chie and I got to the arena, 14 hours after flying.
I was dreading to see Taylor, Joe, and Adam. I don't know how they're gonna react to me being here, but I do hope they accept me for who I am.
I never got around Christianity because it was always being up front and in my face to where I didn't want to be a part of it.
I really don't believe in God. No athiesm, just trying to live my life however I can, right?
When Chie and I finally got to catering, I saw Joe and Adam. They were deeply upset and just trying to make it work, but in the corner of my eye, I recognized someone familiar.
?????: Jackson?!
I looked over, and it was Rebecca, WWE's Becky Lynch.
Me: Rebecca.
She walked over with tears down her face and we engulfed in a very deep hug, rocking back and forth.
Rebecca (voice cracking): I know, lad. I know. It's okay.
I just let it out on her and I know I was embarrassed about it.
I consider Rebecca as an older sister, and she's one of the sweetest women I've ever met. I will admit that I had a crush on her, but I knew that would break our brother-sister relationship, so I didn't act on that.
Also, Windham was a mentor to her and helped her in her first tables match as it was his first as well, so it really shows how much of an impact he had on a lot of people. However, us seeing each other again after a long time is the best feeling ever.
I saw Chie looking a bit emotional about the friends I'm reuniting with, but I don't think she minds me catching up with them. I think she's just letting me know that she's staying by me no matter what.
When Becca and I let go, she smiled the best she could and I just looked at her with a smile of my own.
Rebecca: I'm really happy to see you here, lad. I'm really sorry about Windham. He was such a sweet man.
Me: I appreciate that. Thank you.
Rebecca: Who's your friend there?
Me: Oh, I'm sorry. This is Chie Nagatani, one of my very close friends in Japan, in Stardom.
Rebecca: Nice to meet you.
Chie: Likewise.
They both shook hands as Becca seemed to like her already!
Rebecca: Oh, your English is really good.
Chie: Arigatomasu, Jackson-chan taught girls and I a lot of English, so we can communicate a lot better, but we taught him Japanese as well.
Rebecca: That's brilliant!
I let the two talk as I patted their shoulders to let them know I was gonna meet some friends for a bit.
And I forgot to mention that just right after we landed, I donated some money to my sister-in-law, Jojo and my nieces and nephew, about $10,000 to show how strong I am through everything, even though my older brother's passing as it was just a day before.
I want to give back and show that Windham's not the only influential person they can ever meet, but also someone they can look up to. I want to continue my brother's story and this is just the start of it.
Anyway, I caught up with Adam and Joe, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan, as they were emotional to see me here and we caught up until the show started, when we had to go out there and do a ten bell salute, which is something I'm not looking forward to.
~8:00 PM~
We were not only paying tribute to Windham, but to Terry Funk. I don't mind paying tribute to the Funkster, but Windham is more important in my eyes.
I was next to Joe, as he had his hand on my shoulder, just checking on me while Chie did the same. She wasn't a part of the WWE roster, I'm but I'm hoping the fans and my brother's coworkers, even though they liked her already, they let her be in the tribute.
Michael Cole, one of the announcers, started to talk...
Cole: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This past week we lost two beloved members of our WWE family: Hall of Famer Terry Funk, and the one and only Bray Wyatt. Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown, we will honor their legacy, and celebrate their lives. The lives of two incredible men, who touched all of us, with their passion, their creativity, and their spirit. Please join us for a moment of silence and our traditional ten bell salute.
And just like that, they started to ring the bell...
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
RING!
At the very last ring, I couldn't take it anymore and just bawled, but as quietly as I could and Chie pulled me into her arms while I just cried into her shoulder.
Her being here was really helping me get it all out of me, and I really couldn't thank her enough for being able to stand with me.
When it was all over and everyone looked to get their matches in, Chie and I went to catering, where we watched the rest of the show, but I saw so many tributes to Windham that it made me cry even more.
However, what really took not just the cake, but the entire bakery, Rossy and Stardom put out their own tribute, and they said this...
@we_are_stardom
"Stardom fans,
We are very sorry to report that one of our producer, Jackson Rotunda, has reported to us that his brother, Windham Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt in WWE, has passed away.
Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.
We appreciate your support during this difficult time."
When Chie saw the tribute, she teared up.
I was really touched by what Stardom had done and I couldn't be more grateful to them as Rossy reached out to me and told me this...
Rossy: あなたにとって弟がどれだけ大切な存在だったかは私たちにもわかります。だから、私たちは彼を偲んでこれを公開したいと思いました。家族と過ごすのに必要なだけの時間を取ってください。私たちが対応します。 (We could tell how much your brother meant to you, so we wanted to put that out in memory of him. Take as much time as you need to be with your family. We'll handle it here.)
I personally thanked him as I then got messages from my friends, saying...
@utami0914: ジャクソンちゃん、私たちはあなたの味方です。私たちは今、あなたとあなたの家族のために祈っています。 (We're with you, Jackson-chan. We're praying for you and your family right now.)
@azumikan1411: ジャックスちゃん、君はたくさんの人にとって大切な存在だし、それは君の弟にとっても同じこと。必要なだけ時間をかけて。 (You matter to a lot of people, Jax-chan, and the same can go for your brother. Take as much time as you need.)
@anou_saori: ジャックスちゃん、ご愁傷様です。あなたとご家族のことを思っています。 (Sorry for your loss, Jax-chan. I'm thinking about you and your family.)
@MinaShirakawa: I'm praying for your family right now, Jackson-chan! R.I.P. Windham
@tmtmtmx: 私は宇宙一かわいいアイドルかもしれないけど、ワイアットちゃんは宇宙一かわいいイーターオブワールド!真面目な話、今夜はジャクソンちゃんとその家族のことを考えています... (I may be the cutest idol in the universe, but Wyatt-chan is the cutest Eater Of Worlds! In all seriousness, I'm thinking about Jackson-chan and his family tonight...)
@n_poi07: ジャックスちゃん、大好きです!あなたは私たちの家族です! (We love you, Jax-chan! You're our family!)
@STARDOM_N: いやああああ!ジャックスちゃん、ごめんなさい!今あなたのために祈ってるよ! (Noooooo! I'm so sorry, Jax-chan! I'm praying for you right now!)
@miyu_stardom: ジャクソンちゃん、あなたのことを思っています。あなたとあなたのご家族のために祈っています。 (Thinking about you, Jackson-chan. You and your family are in my prayers.)
I would show a lot more, but I'd cry again, so I let everyone do their own tribute.
Other than that, after the show, Chie and I went to the hotel, where we slept in different beds and slept, but little did I know, WWE was gonna come calling to me months later.
