It's easy to lose yourself in the midst of all the expectations from the society, the voice that tells you what you should be versus what you want to be.

You stop being yourself the very instant you think about meeting the expectations of the society. Society shall always expect things from you that simply isn't you.

Don't take 'likes' on that photo on Instagram that isn't yours but is more than the likes on your photos too personally. You are there to share your experiences, not for some shitty competition.

If you are a writer who has been writing for years and suddenly see amateur writers getting a lot of attention and likes which you just aren't getting, don't lose hope. Don't feel envious. You writing is worth it all. You write the world the way you see it from your eyes, so some people might not have those 'eyes' to see and feel your writing, but that doesn't mean there won't be any. And by the way, are you writing to please the damn world?? No na. So don't do that!
