Have you ever just... looked at the houses in Tarrey Town and wondered why they seem to look so much nicer than yours? The colors of the walls, the walls in general? The doors? The decorations?

Well, I have. When, in the entire game, did I ask for my house to be a bland green color? Never. And why can't I have a roof? I mean, Link is the hero of Hyrule, isn't putting a freaking roof on his house the least they can do?

I have since resolved the issue wit open walls and here is what my house looks like, but still.

(Building tip for anyone playing: if you want your house to not have any open walls, use the Square Room or the Square Decorated Room. I used the Square Decorated to give my house a more "homey" feel, but you do you. Use an extra foyer if you need another door.)

I ended up moving all of my paddocks to the roof. I have three, for my favorite horses: Zelda (my golden horse, well technically it's Zelda's horse but that's kinda why I named it after her, the other reason being my bestie giving me the idea for the name), Luna (originally the steed named Spot, the one that ran away from the Lookout Landing Stable), and Endura (not specifically a special steed, but a rare steed with a pink and white coat and a blonde mane). The reason I put them up there? My roof just looked empty. And I couldn't put any more rooms in, because...

...I already have 15 rooms! Who in Hyrule had the dumb idea to make freaking stairs count as a room? And better yet, why are ponds and FLOWER BEDS considered rooms? I was thinking, "Oh, flower beds and ponds! That's a great edition to my yard! Plus free fish to harvest every day for meals? Wow!" But NOPE. Besides getting free fish every day, it's a waste of rupees and a missed opportunity for rooms that are needed. Not to mention: you thought you could grow things in your flower bed to harvest for cooking? Haha, NOPE! It's just a dumb decoration to waste even more room space. Creators, if you by some miracle see this, please, for the love of Hylia, make gardening a thing in this game. It's not what we want, it's what we need and deserve.

Also, the open walls things really bugs me. Would any of you who are reading this want a whole wall missing from your house? I know I wouldn't. This issue can be resolved... by buying more rooms. I know. Stupid but necessary in order to create the perfect house.

I would've loved to add a bow stand room and a shield stand room to my house, but being that I kinda need everything except my flower bed... I can't.

Why can't we have building like Sims 4 has? Multiple color options, optional walls and doors, and roofs? We need this.
