luckily for him, i went to the store two blocks from our apartment, and it didn't take him long to get there. when he found me, he knocked on the passenger side window and i unlocked the car doors.

he quickly climbed in and threw his arms around me.

"no more surprises like that, jagi. please." he begged desperately. the moment he held me in his embrace, the tears spilled from my eyes again. "i can't bear the thought of something happening to you."

it may have been just the grocery store.

but there were mirrors there, and any place that had mirrors were places tae wanted me to avoid.
