on the day that he was set to return to seoul, he hugged me tight before getting in the car that would get him to the airport.

"it was so nice to see you again, kyra." he said to me.

i clung to him with all my strength, not wanting to let go. but at the same time, i understood that i had to. this visit from him had been only temporary. his life was different now. "tae, promise we'll see each other soon. eight years was too long to wait for this moment."

as we pulled away, he nodded. "i'll be back during christmas time. or you can always visit me in seoul."

"me? in seoul?" i shrunk back in fear at the thought.

"people are more accepting there." he assured me with a smile.

"i don't know." i hummed.

seconds later he was whisked away, to return to his life as an idol.

i literally spent the last two hours watching exo and bts theory videos. i have no life, tbh. but i don't care.
