eomma and appa separated one day--their worlds were just too different for them to overcome--and it was one of the reasons why i chose korea as my permanent place to live. there was taehyung, and the fact that eomma wanted me to live in cayey with her. appa wanted me to live in berlin with him. i didn't quite feel the places they considered "home" as my own.

i chose daegu with grandmother--dad's mother.

they weren't too happy about it, but finally agreed. i was an adult already after all.

my name was changed to park kyra by choice, taking on my grandmother's surname in an attempt to fit in. kyra damm santos was much too foreign for me--or rather too foreign for everyone else.

i hoped that small change would make things better for me.

i hoped in vain.

mexico won btw against el salvador and that makes me very happy. and on another note, i may or may not be posting one of these short stories for jin. mostly may. but i won't start it until i finish this one. these are just little side project stories--hence the short chapters--so that i have something to do instead of updating my exo stories everyday bc they have long chaps and that would be overwhelming.

overwhelming for the readers, not for me. i could write all day long.
