"tae, i'm a burden on your life." i said to him that night as we laid in bed together. his arms were around me and my head on his chest. the one place i felt safe. his arms.

he was quick to give a shake of his head. "no, jagi. no."

"i am." i said, and then made a suggestion as it came into my mind. "what if...i went back to cayey with my eomma, or berlin with my appa?"

"please don't. you would break me." he replied, his hold on me getting tighter.

that was when i realized that just as i clung to him, he clung onto me as well. he needed me just the same, and i wasn't sure if it was healthy for the two of us.

disneyland with my best friend and my sisters last night was a blast, even though there were a ton of people and the lines were ridiculously long for most of the day. but i cried internally for my friend's wallet.

she stupidly spent over two hundred dollars on three sweaters and a pair of pajama shorts alone. just because it was disney brand doesn't mean it wasn't over priced.
