Chapter Eleven - Hiding

Quick notice - If you read Chapter Ten before midnight 9th August (England) I edited it because some parts I published didn't come up so I had to re-write it.
------------------------
Breaking out of a prison isn't easy. We had to find ways to avoid the guards or back to the cells it was. We just had to get out of the last bit and we were free. I distracted the guard by throwing a bunch of cell keys into a different corridor. The guard went to check what it was and we were able to get out. We hid behind a cart outside the prison while I asked them where their parents were. James knew exactly where to go so me and Hannah just followed. After a while we heard guards shouting that we were missing and they were coming after us. "Run!" I said and we ran through the streets from angry guards.

We lost them thankfully when we were getting to the house. I have never seen two children smile so much about being home. We could hear the guards in another street but we had finally reached the house. James and Hannah were banging on the door excitedly and a woman opened the door with two men behind her. One was the Doctor. I hurried the children inside, closed the door and flung myself into the Doctor's arms. "Why are you here?" I asked.

"I was kindly able to hide here and we were just planning a way to get you out of the prisons." He answered. I laughed and he kissed my forehead. "The guards are still coming but they shouldn't do us any trouble anymore." Or so I thought.

I had my arms around James and Hannah who were either side of me while we sat under the floorboards of their house. The guards were going to every house in each street to investigate and try and find us. "I do not allow you to burst into my home without permission!" John shouted. The Doctor was stood staring up at what was happening just incase anything went out of hand. The children were shaking but they knew to be quiet and that they were safe for us, well that's what we told them to make sure they wouldn't panic. We had absolutely no idea if we were going to be safe. We were told to stay in a room under the floorboards until dawn and the wait was agonising. The children had fallen asleep on some blankets  we brought down with us after a while and me and the Doctor sat in the corner next to them. I rested my head on his shoulder and drifted off to sleep.

I was woken up to the Doctor shaking me. I opened my eyes and sat up. It was dawn. "Time to go." He smiled. We said our goodbyes and thank yous to the family then left. "Wait, what about the guards?" I asked. "Sorted. I sent them gave them information on an imaginary witch in exchange for ours and the kids freedom. They won't be bothered by us anymore." I smiled at the Doctor and he smiled back. Finally we didn't have to worry and I could get out of that dress. It was starting to get irritating. How could women wear them dresses?
