Pledge:
someone who is not in a sorority or a fraternity officially but hopes to join

Brothers:
Can be a co-ed term which refers to official members of a frat

Chapter:
Bi-weekly official greek life organization meetings

Bid:
When a Greek life organization such as a sorority of fraternity invites you to officially join their organization and become a member

Bid Day:
The day where each pledge gets to open an envelope to see if they get invited to join their greek life organization or not
