Reyna was studying a ridiculous statue of Bacchus, sipping hot chocolate, when there was a bright flash in front of her. When her vision cleared she saw Mercury standing in front of her. She bowed.
"Lord Mercury, what are you doing here?
" The gods have assigned you and a friend of yours a very important quest."
"What?! You want me to leave? My camp needs me we are still recuperating from the war. Why didn't you assign the quest to Percy and Annabeth? They have more experience than me when it comes to quests."
"Mr. Jackson is busy helping Apollo and Ms. Chase(cough, future Mrs. Jackson, cough) is dealing with some family drama. You and Ms. Grace are the next best option."
"Thalia is going on the quest with me!?!"
Reyna felt butterflies in her stomach at the thought of Thalia. She had had a crush on her from the moment they first meet. Whenever she was around Thalia she couldn't focus and she could hardly speak.
"Yes Ms. Grace will be your partner on this quest. Artemis and Hecate are retrieving her now. I was sent to retrieve you and bring you to the big house. So if you will close your eyes while I transport you to Camp Half-Blood."
Reyna did as he asked and felt a cold breeze rush through her. She opened her eyes to find herself in the War room at Camp Half-Blood. She heard hooves clip clop across the surface behind her. She whirled around to see Chiron holding none other than the famous Thalia Grace unconscious in his arms.
