After the burial, people started leaving until it was only Arora family and a few close family friends left who were all feeling anguish because Sarla wasn't just the best mother to her daughters but also a great friend and will be remembered by all.

They started leaving one by one but Preeta was even blicking or saying anything. She was extremely quiet throughout the burial, she only talked once and hasn't said anything which is worrying her sister. Shrishti tried to persuade her to come with them with she declined. She told them she wanted to be alone and needed space which was given to her.

"If you need anything please call me", Sophia and told her and she promised to call in case of anything.

After everyone had left and it was only her; she fell on her kneels and all the tears she had tried to hide earlier came back uncontrollably still not believing that its her mother lying down there and that she has just buried her now or that she's never going to see her smile and listen to her sweet voice ever again.

"I just can't believe your gone mum and its my fault your not here anymore . Am so sorry; please forgive me for what I did to you, forgive me for disappointing you, for disobeying you and for hurting you. I regret having left with Karan; had I agreed Prithvi in my life maybe you would still be here. I killed you and am very sorry mum. It hurts that your not here and I don't think I can live in this world with out", she cried out.

She then started remembering the good and bad memories she shared with her mum, the time she and her sister came to Mumbai and met her after almost 15 years; the hugs and the kisses, the laughs and tears, the celebrations they had as a family, times when Sarla stoond up for her and Shrishti when they were arrested, the times she scolded them for being in the wrong and then correcting them, the times she told her to stay away from Karan Luthra and also remembered when Sophia told her what caused her mother's heart attack. And it was news of her pregnancy. She remembered Karan's hurtful words and how he looked at her with so much much hatred. She touched her stomach slowly, closed her eyes and said "forgive me, please forgive me". She then stood up and ran off while crying but didn't even know where she was going because she went in the different direction. She ran so first but then stopped and sat down breathing so heavily. She was feeling so much pain and not just for losing her mother but also for Karan betraying her in the worst way possible. She was feeling so much anguish, so much sadness and angry at the same time. She didn't want to feel the way she was feeling but wanted peace, calmness and she knew the only way to do so was to live this cruel world. She wanted to die as it would give her the peace she craved right now and also reunite her with her mother so she started moving to a place.

At Luthra house, after the engagement was done everyone went into party mood, dancing, drinking and playing games for fun while preparing for the wedding which was gonna take place on the same day. Kareena had convinced Karan to marry Mahira as soon as possible because she thought Preeta would come to cause problems or even file a case against Karan which was bad news for her family but if Karan and Mahira are married they won't answer to anyone, they would come out victorious and Preeta would still lose. Karan had no reason to refuse since he had made everyone believe that he indeed hates Preeta and is ready to marry Mahira. However only everyone was happy about this engagement and wedding especially with the speed everything was taking place; Rahki, Sammy, Kritika and Rishabh weren'thappy but the most unhappy one of all was the groom himself. Despite accepting this engagement and wedding he wasn't happy about it and the saddest part is that he knew because Mahira wasn't the woman he loved or wished to be by his side, he doesn't even think he will ever love another other than Preeta whom he hates so much but also loves too much. The hatred overpowered the love he feels for her and doesn't regret his decision because it's for his family and dad .

Mahira and Sheilyn were relieved and happy at the same time, first because the wedding was happening and secondly they are never going to get scared of Preeta that she will walk through the front door to expose them. This was a win win situation for both of them but especially for Sheilyn. However there is fear of Mahesh waking up from the coma anytime soon as suggested by the doctor because of the positive signs he's been showing lately. She was worried but Mahira told her that after her wedding tonight they can finally end his life and stop living in fear to which she agreed to however the fear didn't go away. She felt like something bad was gonna happen and felt helpless, worried because she didn't know what it was or from angle it was gonna come from.

Shrishti was shown pessing worried sick about her sister. It was coming to six thirty and she wasn't back.

"Maybe she decided to take a walk somewhere, do you a place she would go to when she's sad?",Sophia asked.

"No, but I feel scared; I didn't like it when she decided to stay back, I've been having this weird feeling since we came back from mum's burial. I should've persuaded her to come with us. I don't know what will happen to me if something bad happens to my sister".

"Dont worry too much, maybe she's on her way back here or if you want we can go look for her".

"We should do that"

"I will come with you", Sam told them who was a protective brother to both girls and Sophia's elder brother.

"We should probably go to Luthra house first?" Sophia suggested

"Why would she go there, Karan dumped and humiliated her".

"To talk about their child, have you forgotten that she's pregnant? "

"Wait, what? You girls didn't mention this?"

"Well sorry but it was our secret to tell".

"We have to hurry in case she's there I would want to be there because that family is the worst especially that Kareena, add the old hag Bani Luthra and those two bitches Sheilyn and Mahira"

They left for Luthra house but also encountered traffic jam which delayed them.

At Luthra house, the wedding was about to start but and all family members were present, some weren't excited about the wedding and Rahki was still talking to Mahesh and as she was talking to him he opened his eyes. He wake up from the coma and at the same time Shrishti and company came to Luthra house and were horrified by the scenes. Karan Luthra was getting married after what he did to her sister. Rishabh, Sammy and Krikita spotted them first.

"Shrishti" Sammy called excitedly but Shrishti wasn't in the mood to talk to him or any person in this house. She only came here to look for her sister however seeing what was happening she came in front of Karan and Mahira and looked at them with so much anger, she couldn't believe that Karan would do this after claiming to love sister.

"I guess this is the real you. Your such a bastard and the most hurt less person I've ever met. You've got no idea the kind of damage you've inflicted on my family. You have no idea of what you've done to us, you have no fucking idea. For a guy who brags about himself and everything is the worst kind of person but i promise, curse and promise you that your never gonna find happiness in your life ever. You ruined my family and my sister, you used her and then dumped her....and...."

"Whatever I did, Preeta deserved it for ruining my family".

Shrishti slapped Karan that it made people jump.

"Don't ever mention her name, you don't deserve to call her and you don't deserve them".

"Trash like Mahira and Sheilyn is what this family deserves, actually you make a nice pair with her because she's just like you".

"Hey, you middle-class girl you should leave our house before I call the police on you for trespassing and if your sister sent you here, tell her Karan and Mahira are married. Now go and don't ever show your faces here", Kareena told her while pushing her outside.

They went out side and stood quietly wondering where Preeta was.

"We need to talk for her somewhere else, clearly she hasn't been here". Sophia said.

"Whom are you looking for?" Rishabh had followed them and so he asked.

"Preeta".

"Let's go"

"I will come with", Rishabh told them and were surprised.

"Shouldn't you be in there with your brother".

"No Shrishti, I was apart of that plan and sure I don't want what's happening. And for the record am sorry for what Karan did to Preeta. She's the one I like as a sister-in-law not Mahira".

"She won't be and we gotta go".

As they were heading out of Luthra compound, Shrishti received a phone call that scared her to death that she hurried to the said place.

On the other hand, after Mahesh had woken up he told his wife everything and since she didn't want to alert Mahira and Sheilyn she called the whole family in Mahesh's bedroom as the wedding was on hold. He told them everything about Sheilyn and Mahira. They were all surprised and looked ashamed and Karan guilty was eating him up what he's done too Preeta was terrible. He fell on his knees and asked forgiveness from his dad who was confused because he had no idea about the damage his family caused the Aroras. Sheilyn and Mahira were arrested on many charges however they had no idea of the storm coming their way.

Shrishti, Rishabh and company reached at the bridge were Preeta was standing just on the edge and many people had gathered trying to stop her but she wasn't listening to any until she heard her sister's voice and turned and still standing at the edge th st any mistake would only make her fall.
Rishabh was so scared and worried, he didn't think that Preeta would try to take her life because of Karan but what he didn't know was that Sarla was dead and Preeta was carrying that guilt. He and the rest tried to talk to her out of it.

"Preeta please, you can't do this. We are sisters and promised to look out for each other. You can't leave me; your all I have got. I know you blame yourself for mum's death but it was just an accident and I also know that your hurt by what Karan did to you but this isn't the end of the world. You've still got me, grandma, aunt Jhanki, Sophia and Sam we are all here. And also think about your unborn child. He deserves to live, we are all gonna be here for you please take my hand and come with me".

Shrishti had managed to get through to her and she was giving her hand to her when she slipped and fell.
