"I'm tired!" Nick was whining.

"We have been walking for only 30 minutes" Peter said. It's true, the parents are home with Happy playing a game or something. The rest of us were bored so we decided to go hiking.

"We would go back soon" I answered. We walked for ten more minutes before we met the worse lady ever.

"What are you doing here?" the lady snapped at us.

"Going on a hike" Zoe answered.

"You can't walk here" the lady said still snapping.

I walked up to the front of the group because I was at the back to get a good look at the lady getting angry unnecessarily. She is of average height and skinny, she could be pretty if not for the anger on her face and with the lines, it seems like the anger never leaves her.

"And why is that?" I asked looking her up and down. I hate when people get snappy when meeting new people. She doesn't know us and she's angry already.

"Because this is private grounds. So... leave" she said moving forward.

"You don't have to be such a bitch" I said also moving towards her.

"I can because I am the school camp counselor and in control" she said smiling. So she's a school counselor that's nice. The camp ground cannot be far from here then.

I was about to hit the late smile of her face when Mike held me back.

"We would go" he said.

"Better" the lady said and walked away.

"Such an asshole" Jake said when she left. We all kept walking for about two minutes before we reached a lake. It was so beautiful. We sat there a while and ate the lunches Paige packed for us.

"I'm surprised Elly let that lady go" Peter said.

"Yeah, me too" Lou agreed.

"That's because I am definitely going back for her" I told them and smiled.

"I'm scared" Nick said looking at me.

"You should be, I get scared when she has that smile on" Mike said. I laughed and we all went back home.

"How was the hike?" Daniel asked when we got home.

"Fine except for a lady we met who was angry at us for no reason" Zoe answered.

"Oh, sorry about that" Daniel said.

"No need, it ended well because we saw a lake. We should definitely go there one day for an afternoon out" Zoe said.

"That's a plan" Lizzy said.

After dinner, the parents were talking about some boring movie they saw in the 90s in the lounge so we left them do as not to die of boredom. Besides we don't know the movie. We went to the second lounge. Happy insisted on going with us.

I am playing video game with Lou and winning when I got a brilliant idea.

"I got it!" I suddenly shouted so everyone looked at me. Peter was reading a book to Happy, Nick and Zoe were on there phone, Jason and Jenny were talking while Mike and Jake were also playing a video game.

"Got what?" Jake asked looking away from the game.

"Let me guess, how to get back at the mean lady" Mike said and I nodded.

"I'm all ears" Peter said smiling evilly.

"Finally going to be part of your mess around" Nick said smiling. I looked at him questioningly.

"Peter tells me about you pranks once a while and I love them" Nick explained.

"Welcome onboard" I said.

"What's the plan?" Jason said.

"Can I go too?" Happy asked.

"No" Peter answered and she lowered her head sad.

"That's because you have the most important job" I told her.

"Really?" she asked looking up with a big smile.

"Yes, you are the watch lady. Make sure the parents do not know we have gone out. Pull out all the cuteness you have and keep them away from us. They must never come downstairs to thus lounge because this is where we are going to sleep when we come back. Think you can you handle it?" I asked her. She nodded.

"It doesn't seem like an important job" she said quietly.

"If they get to know, we would be grounded for life and we wouldn't be happy. Do you want us grounded and sad?" I asked.

"No!!" she said shaking her head.

"Our future depends on you" I told her.

"I would do the job right" she said, stood up and skipped to the other lounge area.

"That was pretty cool and smart" Peter said when she left.

"I know" I answered and smiled.

"Again I ask, what's the plan?" Jason said.

"Just trust me" I said.

"Let's go then" Zoe said.

"First of all, I need duct tape and lots of it and secondly, we should change. Something dull that would blend with the night" I said and we all went upstairs to our rooms to change. I wore a black hoodie and black jeans with my black sneakers. Mike wore the same thing. When we went to meet the others, turns out we all have black hoodies and were wearing it.

"We look like a bunch of delinquents" Jenny said.

"That's because we are" I answered.

I walked downstairs and signaled Happy. She needs to distract them now and she did a good job. We didn't have time to watch her cute dance before going quietly through the lounge to the back door and out the house.

We tried tracing our steps back to the lady's school camp ground. We walked for like 20mins before we found it. It wasn't like this afternoon when we were strolling. This time we walked with a purpose. Jason was to watch out for anybody and Jenny volunteered to go with him. The rest of us walked quietly around the pitched tents looking for the lady by unzipping the tents from outside and looking in which isn't easy.

Nick found her tent and signaled me. Mike, Peter, Jake and I went to work. We began to undo the lady's tent by removing the small pole holding the tents to the ground. Zoe and Nick looked in to make sure the lady doesn't wake up. When we were done, we removed the tent and placed it aside. The lady was still sleeping. I hope the small medicine bottle filled with pills by her bed are sleeping pills.

"She's knocked out" Mike said pointing to the medicine bottle.

"Works for us" I agreed. The guys then carried the lady still on her bed gently to the lake. We walked for about 5 minutes before reaching there. Jason and Jenny followed. Zoe went to get them before we left.

I taped the ladies hair down in different directions with the duct tape. That is going to take a while and be painful to get out. The guys now took her to the water and left her there to float about. We all sat by the lake playing and watching the woman float till she began to stir and wake up.

It was 4am when she woke up and rolled into the water. We all took our phones out and began videoing her and laughing. It took the lady a while to realize she was in the water, she swam to shore with her bed in tow.

"Hello" I greeted when she came towards us glaring and pointing. "Isn't it too early to go for a swim especially in your clothes" I teased further when she got closer. Jake bursted out  laughing.

"You all did this" she said pointing at us.

"Proof" Zoe said.

"We came to watch the sunrise and saw you swimming in your clothes which is insane by the way" I said looking a her straight.

"This isn't over. I'm going to make sure the police arrest you for harassment" she said and dragged her bed with her. I shouted where we are staying to her and we also went home. Mike posted the video on the internet.

When we got home, we sneaked back in and into our rooms. It wasn't day break yet so no one was up. It was about 5am when we all went to our rooms to change into our pj's and crashed in the lounge downstairs. The TV was still on when we got there because that was the plan. If the TV is off, the parents would come down and check on us. If not, they would think we are hanging out and probably still not come and check on us.

I hadn't slept for long when I heard Happy began shouting and jumping around waking me up. I stirred and opened my eyes and saw the others were waking. He up too.

"I made sure they didn't come downstairs at all before going to bed" Happy said smiling brightly. Lots of energy this morning.

"Morning to you too" Jenny said. Happy laughed before saying it was noon already.

"What?!" I shouted.

"It is afternoon" she repeated again slowly.

"I heard you before" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Oh" was all she said and sat down.

"Did mum come check us this morning?" Peter asked.

"Yes and saw you all sleeping" she said smiling again. "So, how did it go?!" she shouted. We showed her the video and she laughed so hard.

"Happy, where are they?!!!" we heard Lizzy call her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you but the police are here to see you" she said before running back up.

"Why are they here?" Zoe asked starting to freak out.

"I was expecting them, weren't you?" I asked and she shared her head.

"Ok, just keep quiet and follow my lead" I said and we all went up.

"That's them" the lady said when we got upstairs.

"Hello officers" I greeted and sat down. We all sat down.

"Hello. I am officer Finn and this is my partner officer Patrick" the older officer greeted. He is in his mid 30s, has wrinkles on his face making him look much older than that.

"How can we help you?" Lou asked.

"This lady here submitted a report about you assaulting her" Finn said.

"What, in what way if I may ask?" I feigned innocence.

"She said you kept her on the lake to float around and took a video and true to it, we found the video online this morning" Officer Pat said.

"Yes, We were watching TV and hanging out all night when Nick suggested we watch the sunrise from the lake because we were there yesterday. It wasn't a bad idea so we went. We saw this lady floating around on her bed in the water, recorded it and then  posted the video because it was funny, still is" I answered very calmly.

"Before you ask, we didn't go in to save her because she was mean to us when we first met her. We recorded her because we are teenagers who love the internet" Lou said and smiled.

The officers asked other questions and asked our parents to confirm if we were home and they did. Good thing they didn't know we left the house.

"I think we have everything we need" officer Finn said and stood up. His partner in suit.

"Are there going to be charged for anything?" Kevin asked.

"No, they are free" Officer Finn said.

"What do you mean, they did it" the lady said.

"Ma'am unless you have proof, there's nothing we can do" Officer Pat said. He is a little younger than Officer Finn.

"Let me see you out, Officers" Kevin offered and the parents walked them out. The lady was the last to leave. She turned around and was about to say something to us but I beat her to it.

"Did you think the cops were going to scare me?" I asked her. She stood there just staring.

I moved closer to her and said, "Then you don't know me and if you dare disturb us again, I'm going to make your life miserable throughout my state here". I then moved back and smiled when I saw the parents coming back.

"Thank you for coming and I really truly hope you find whoever did that to you, maybe one of your students" I said.

"We would see you to the door" Lizzy offered and they left. She looked back one more time and I winked at her.

"I hope she find whoever did that to her even though it is hilarious" Daniel said when he came back.

"You lot should go change, we are going to the city. We gave a surprise for you" Mum said and we all ran upstairs to change.

"You are awesome" Zoe said when we got upstairs. Nick agreed with her.

"I want to be like you when I grow up" Happy said.

"You used to want to be like me" Peter said pouting.

"Yes but Elly is way more awesome" she said and took Jenny's hands dragging her to her room.

"I hate you, Elly" Peter said when she left.

"I love you too" I said and smiled pecking his cheeks and going to my room to get ready.
