It has been a while since I have seen the guys. I haven't been at school for about three days now. Mum told the school about my absence so it wouldn't go on my permanent record or something. I am to sign the final papers today to take over but I haven't told the guys. I just didn't turn up at school and my phone has been off too. I am in the office bus going to work with mum and the lawyer.

I wore a white shirt and black pants with black heels. I put my phone, earpiece as always and ever thing necessary in my cream bag. I took a few pictures before leaving the house.

"Dear the lawyer as been talking to you since" mum said taping me.

"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked facing the lawyer.

"I asked if you are sure you are ready to take over, it's going to be a long ride and you are going to be stressed out a lot" the lawyer asked.

"I am definitely not ready but I gave mum with me" I replied holding mum's hands. Truth. I am definitely not ready but I have mum and the guys even if I haven't told them yet. I probably should.

When we got to work I went to mums office. She has a very beautiful office.

"Sweetie, why are you here?" mum asked when she came into the office.

"I don't know where to go" I told her.

"Your dad's office" was the reply she gave before sitting down.

"No, that's dad's office not mine. I don't think I can stay in dad's office. It's dad. I know we bought this office after he died when we moved the company's headquarter to Colorado but you know what I mean. It's dad's table and chair that is there. I do not think I can sit in that" I told her truthfully.

Mum stood up and came to my side raising me up from the seat. We left her office together and went to the CEOs office. The office is so big and beautiful. Mum decorated it exactly how it was in Kansas before dad died. I can still imagine him at the table working on his laptop. I don't think I can fill his seat.

Mum sat me down on his chair and looked at me. "You belong here, John would have wanted that and you know it". She is right, dad has always wanted me here. He said it all the time whenever I followed him to work.

"I am happy you are here with me" I told her.

"Always, your guys should be here too especially Mike" she said walking to the door.

"I didn't tell them" I told her truthfully. She just shaked her head and left. I stood up from the chair and walked through the office. I ended up sitting on the floor in the middle of the office.

I think I have been sitting here for close to an hour when the door opened and the lawyer came in with mum and another man. They sat on the couch looking at me.

"Can you please stand up and come sign the paper" the lawyer snapped at me.

"You vomited in your briefcase, you are going to come seat on the floor because nothing is going to make me stand up from your not even that snappy attitude of yours" I said. Mum looked at me, smiled and gave me a thumbs up when the lawyer wasn't looking.

They all came to seat on the floor. The lawyer brought out the papers and I before I signed, my curiosity got the better if me.

"Who are you?" I asked pointing at the other guy who just sat down writing God knows what.

"He's your Personal Assistant/ Secretary" the lawyer replied.

"Yes, he brings home every paper you have to sign, that sort of thing", mum said.

"Cool" I replied and went ahead to sign all the papers. Everyone left leaving me alone in the office again. I haven't even being sitting down a few minutes when the someone barged in. I looked up and saw it was the guys.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Looking for you but first security is looking for us" Mike replied. I told the guys to hide and they looked at me weirdly but they went to hide under the table. I sat on the chair at the front of the table so I would be facing whoever comes in.

Not long after the security came in. "Good afternoon miss, there has been a security breach, a couple of teenage boys ran into the company and came this way. We wanted to know if you have seen them" one of the men dressed in suit asked. I am going to have a little fun.

"What, are you trying to tell me that some people who might have come to kill me or steal something are somewhere in this building and you do not know where they are?" I all but shouted. I heard the guys snickering under the table and I kicked them to shut them up.

"No miss, we know where they are" another replied.

"Then why are you asking me. Oh my God, my life is in danger. I am going to get killed because of you all who cannot do your jobs". I am such a good actress.

"We just got confirmation that one of the security men found them on the third floor and are being escorted out. Everything is under control" the first one spoke and they all nodded like they all got the confirmation. Liars.

"Okay". I said and they left the office. I went to the door to lock it. The guys came out from under the table and we all laughed.

"So..?" Mike asked after a while.

"I signed the papers already" I answered.

"We are not going to see you often anymore" Lou said sadly.

"What are you saying?" I asked.

"You are going to be so busy you wouldn't have time for us" Jake answered.

"Are you guys insane? I am always going to have time for you". I told them.

"Really?" Peter said.

"Yes. Nothing is going to ever change that. I love you guys" I replied.

"But me most, right?" Mike asked winking. I smiled. I took the guys to the roof with a couple of beers from the mini fridge. I shouldn't drink at work but who cares.

"I cannot believe I have to run a whole company, I cannot even take care of myself yet. I feel like I am two people, the work responsible person and also the carefree irresponsible girl" I told the guys after we have had a lot more than a couple of drinks. I took out a cig and lit it. It's been a while.

"It's going to be a lot of work but remember you have us. Besides you have always had two sides to you" Mike said kissing my forehead. We all just sat there for a long while.

"I am genuinely bored now" I spoke out.

"Me too, what should we do" Pete said.

"I feel like being pushed around in a cart" I said smiling.

"Let's do that" Mike said. We went back to the office and I packed my things. Next time I come, I would bring some pictures to put around and decorate the place a little, it looks so bland. I passed through mums office but she wasn't there. I sent a text to mum telling her I was leaving. There are only two offices up here. Mums and I am guessing mine now. We went to the elevator and went down to the lobby.

The security guards from earlier where so shocked to see me coming out of the elevator with the guys they supposedly caught. It was still bright outside. I followed the guys back to my place in Lou's Jeep. When I got home, I ran upstairs and quickly changed, I wore a black t-shirt and jeans with my green hoodie. When I got downstairs, the guys were in the kitchen eating.

"I cannot believe you guys are eating" I said when u entered the kitchen. They all looked down except for Lou who was still stuffing his face. "Without me" I continued. They laughed and I went to join them to eat. We were driving around downtown when I spotted a cart in an alley after I had just taken a selfie out of boredom.

No way someone just left that there. I got down from the car with Mike and Jake while Lou and Peter went to look for a place to park. When they came back to join us,we had cleaned the cart. I sat in it and the guys pushed me around. Lou was on his skateboard pushed by Peter while Jake ran, taking turns to seat in the cart. I sat in longer though.

It was dark now and we are at Mama's diner eating. We were so tired from the cart ride. We ate a whole lot of food and made lots of noise but who cares, maybe the other people at the diner who had told us to shut up but we ignored. They guys and I just sat at our booth talking, making noise and laughing. We were assisting Mama in the diner when she told us to leave because if the time. When I checked my phone for the time. It was midnight. So soon. It didn't feel like time had gone.

"Should we go home?" I asked she guys when we were out so the diner.

"Maybe" Jake said slowly.

"I do not feel like going home" I told them.

"Me too" they said simultaneously like they had rehearsed it.

"So what should we do?" Mike asked.

"I know, I have always wanted to go ice skating after midnight when no one is around" Peter said smiling.

We all went to Lou's Jeep and drove to the ice rink. Lou had gone to get the car and driven to the diner while Mike pushed me in the cart to the diner. I love that boy. I gave the cart to Mama to keep for me when we got to the diner.

We parked away from the rink. Everywhere was dark and quiet. We all put on our masks that is in everyone of us car in case of emergencies like this. Lou picked the lock and we broke in. The place was so dark we had to use our phones torchlight to find our way around. Jake found the switch box and we turned on a few lights.

We wore skates that we found. They were arranged in one side. Peter was the first in the rink and surprisingly enough, he knew how to skate. I don't know how to skate so I fell down a lot and the guys laughed a lot.

"Another thing I am better at" Mike said and came to my aid. The lifted me off the floor and held my hands teaching me how to skate.

"Don't you dare let go!" I shouted when he wanted to drop my hands.

"But you can do it" he said and let me go. I was even surprised myself when I didn't fall over. We all just skated around all night laughing and having the time of our life before leaving, returning everything back. We signed our names very small beside the back door inside before leaving and going home.
