Today is my day. I am so happy. No school for me today. I never go to school on my birthday.

"Happy birthday sweetheart" mum said walking into my room. I smiled at her. She sat on my bed and kept the breakfast tray on my bed. She always brings me breakfast on bed. It's a tradition. We ate pancakes, fried eggs and drank coffee. After we ate together in bed she told me to go dress up.

"Where are we going?" I asked her when she stood up and was going out of my room.

"We going to the spa" she told me then left the room. I love the spa. I went to the bathroom, took a shower and wore a white long sleeve short jumpsuit with transparent heels.

I did my make up and wore a gold chocker. I think I look good. I went to meet mum downstairs, she was dressed too. She wore a black short gown with red heels.

When I got downstairs, the bell rang and a delivery guy was there holding a bunch of roses. "Miss Knight?" he asked. I nodded and he handed me the flowers. I went to the kitchen.

"Those are beautiful, who is it from?" mum asked when she say the flower. I opened the card attached to it.

"It's from Mike" I replied with a smile on my face. I love this guy. I read the card out loud:

But I am happy I found you in my life.
I love you and I hope we would share more birthdays together.

"That is so sweet" Mum said when I finished reading it. I have to agree. I took my phone and sent a text to him.

Got the flowers. I love you too- E

Mum and I drove to the spa. We signed in and went inside. Mum scheduled for facials, massages, manicure and pedicure.

When we finished with the facials and massages, we went for our manicure and pedicure. I did French tips while mom painted her nails red.

When we were done, she drove home and parked in the driveway.

"Call the guys" she said when she opened the front door and I did call them.

"They would be here in 10" I told her when I got in. We both went to change our clothes and wore sweats. I met mum downstairs, she's bringing out the flour, eggs and sugar. She wants to bake. I love it when she bakes. The whole house begins to smell of cookies and cake. I love it.

Knock knock

"I would get it" I told mum who was sifting the flour. I went to the door and opened it.

"Happy birthday love" Mike said and kissed me.

"Thank you" I replied.

"Happy birthday" Lou, Peter and Jake said at the same time. We went to meet mum in the kitchen. She's mixing the butter and sugar together.

"Cake time!!" Lou shouted and the baking began. It was a messy baking. Flour everywhere, eggs all over the place. It was so messy. Mum sent us out of the kitchen and decided to bake the cake herself. Kevin came in later and went to join her in the kitchen.

The guys and I went to the den to play games. I was busy winning Jake when Mum called us. She had baked one cake already.

"Wow mum, this looks so good" I complimented her. Mums baking is always good. She caught her slice for all of us and we ate it immediately. Then asked for seconds.

"I have a surprise for you " she told us looking at Kevin. What is going on? She brought out a envelope from her bag and gave us a paper. I opened it and it was a reservation at Out of the Blue Skydiving.

"Omg, you got this for me?"  I was so surprised.

"For you and the guys. It's a birthday gift from. Kevin and I" she said and I ran to hug her. Lou went to hug his dad too. The other guys were so happy too.

"So go get dressed and go out with the guys" Kevin said. He didn't have to say more because we ran out if the kitchen. I wore a grey sleeveless crop top and black trousers with white sneakers.

"You look good" Mike told me when I went downstairs.

"Thank you love" I kiss him.

"Let's go Melly, you guys can kiss later" Pete said and we left the building. Peter drove us to the skydiving place. We played a countdown song of my favorite songs on our way. We also took loads of pictures of it the polaroid camera Lou and I got to document our birthdays. Mine is Rose gold while Lou's is green.

When we got there, we realized mum did the video and photo package so we would have a video of the fall. Which is so cool. I love my mum so much. We went to the drop zone and waited for the guys that would be strapped to our backs. We went to the plane, wore the parachutes and when it was time, we jumped.

It was the best experience ever. It felt like we were flying. A videographer jumped with us and took videos of everything but he went down before us so as to take more videos from the drop zone.

"That was epic!!" Jake shouted when we landed.

"It was so much fun" I agreed with him.

We drove back home and when we went to the dining, it was amazing. The table was set in a beautiful way. Mum and Kevin did a wonderful work. A table for seven was set. There were balloons everywhere with the number 18 too. It was a classy setting.

"This is amazing, mum" I said then hugged her. I also hugged Kevin.

"There's one more surprise" Kevin said and covered my eyes.

She's going to love it.

I heard Mike say.

Definitely  I heard Peter agree.

"Open your eyes" mum said and I did.

"No way" I was in shock.

"It's a Nutella cake!!" I all but screamed. "You baked it for me?" I asked. The cake was so beautiful with all the nuts. I'm so sure it would taste amazing too.

"Yes with the help of Kevin though" she said smiling. We all went upstairs to change. The guys brought clothes with them because they knew about the dinner. They all wore a suit and pants trousers. I wore a brown turtle neck sleeveless crop top with matching material pencil skirt. My hair is side parted and curled down. I think I look good.

We went to the table, the food was already served and we all sat down to eat. The food was amazing. We ate and drank and played lots of games. It was so much fun. I enjoyed the cake. It didn't take long for one to finish.

When dinner was over, Mike called me said he wanted to talk to me.

"Babe, I wanted to talk to you" he said when we got outside.

"What is it?" I asked getting a little bit scared. Nothing good ever comes out of a talk with one's boyfriend.

"I haven't given you your birthday presents yet" he said with a cheeky smile.

"You scared me, I thought you were going to break up with me or something. I was so scared". I told him.

"Why would I break up with the best thing that has ever happened to me". I smiled widely.

"I love you" I told him.

"I love you too so much" he replied. He kissed me for a very long time. We had to let go so as to breathe and that's when he gave me what he got me. It's a Sorelli earring and a J'adore perfume.

"I love it" I told him and I really meant it. The perfume smells so nice. He just smiled. I know he's happy I love it. I kissed him and we went back inside. The rest of the night went by with lots of laughter and dancing and singing. We played all night. When we sat down to eat more cake mom and Kevin stood up and said they have something to tell us.

This is it, I would finally know what is going on between this two. Maybe a busy partnership.

"Kevin and I have something to tell you" she started talking really slow. She does that when she's nervous. I hope I don't hate this.

"Kevin and I are seeing each other" she said then held his hands.

What?!!!
