The date with Mike is today. I am so excited can't wait for evening time. My phone pinged and I checked to see I got a text from Mike.

I am going to come pick you up at 6pm today, be ready dear - M

I read the text again.

Gonna be ready. You said I should dress comfortably, right? - E

Yes- M

Okay - E

I still had all day to dress up so I went to the bathroom to have a bath before going downstairs for breakfast.
I went straight to the coffee pot. Coffee is important and necessary for me so I can function well in the morning.

"Morning mum" I greeted kidding her cheeks after drinking my cup. She is eating bacon and scrambled egg with toast bread. Yum.

"Morning, your breakfast is in the pan". I went ahead to serve my breakfast.

While eating I casually said, "Mike and I are going on a date today".

"You are, wow, at last" she said smiling. "I'm so happy for you."

After breakfast, we both went to Netflix and chill since it's Sunday. We bench watched Friends and laughed so had. We ate pop corn with lots of butter. I enjoy when am home with mum, we are so close and can talk about anything.

The Friends character Joey is the guy who has no clue about what's going on most of the time, that's Lou followed by Monica who is the responsible and that's Mike and Peter. Mike likes to clean while Peter likes to cook. The Chandler of them is Jake, he is the funny one among us. That leaves me who is Phoebe. I say the bizarre thing and at the wrong time. We don't have a Ross or Rachel amongst us.

Mum and I just finished watching the episode where Ross called Rachel's name at his wedding. That was awkward and funny. Mum and I laughed so hard we spilled our pop corn.

Mom went out for lunch with Kelvin while I was at home checking my social media and watching TV. I didn't have anything to do so I decided to read my mails. I was eagerly waiting for evening.

The day dragged on slowly. Finally it was getting dark and I ran upstairs to get ready. I had my shower, went to my wardrobe to pick out the cloth I had chosen to wear today. It's a date with Mike so am not going to wear my normal wear of jeans and t-shirt. I want to look good for him.

I did my make up before putting on the cloth, it's a short pink jumpsuit and transparent heels. I straightened my hair and pinned it to the back. My phone chimed.

I replied before going downstairs, I was walking down the stairs when mom came back home.

"Wow, you are looking good" Mum said all smiles.

"Awwn.. Thank you. He would here any minute". I said.

"Okay dear, have fun but not too much fun " she said. She walked to the living room when the bell rang. I went to open the door and a Mike was standing by the door with a bunch of white roses.

He is wearing a pink t-shirt which we totally did not plan on, a black ripped jeans and a green jacket with black vans.

"Wow, didn't know you had a romantic side, Mr Donovan" I teased taking the flowers.

"Just for you love, just for you "he winked. I laughed.

"Lemme put this in a vase" I said before walking to the kitchen to find one. Mike waited by the foyer.

"Evening Mike" I could hear mum greet.

"Evening ma'am " I laughed. Mum hates it when he does that.

"I've told you a million times to stop calling me that" she said then I heard her go upstairs.

"Shall we?" Mike asked when I came in.

"Yes" I smiled cheeky. We walked to the car he brought. It's a blue car. It's a very beautiful car with the roof open.

"What do you have planned?" I asked when we were in the car.

"Its a surprise, hun" he said not looking away from the road. I was quiet for the rest of the drive.

It took as about 20 mins to get to our destination which was a bowling alley. I have never been bowling before, weird I know.

"Really, we going bowling?" I said.

"You don't wanna?" Mike Saud sounding nervous.

"Are you kidding me, I so want to" I said excited. He smiled.

We got inside, we were given a lane and we changed our shoes. Mike played first. Strike. My turn. I played and straight to the gutter. We laughed.

"So, I have never played before" I said.

"I can see that" Mike said. I laughed.

"The good new is that I'm better than you at something" he said smiling before kissing my nose. I hits him playfully.

"So would you teach me?" I asked.

"No, so you don't win me" he replied with a grin.

"So you are going to allow me to play wrong all night" I said pouting.

"Yes love, am going to relish in the fact that I am a winner and you a loser" he said smiling. I did the most mature thing ever which is to stick my tongue out at him. He just laughed.

The night is going well. I had like 3 strikes while Mike got like 10 or something, I stopped counting. When we were done, we went to return the shoes and walked to the car.

"Home?" I asked when we got into the car.

"No love, the night just began". He said before starting the car and driving off. We didn't say anything in the car, just held hands.

The next time we spoke was when we parked at a gun range. Only Mike would go to a gun range for a date. When we walked in, the guy by the entrance greeted him and directed us to a booth after we collected our gun.

"Something I'm good at" I said when we were settled.

"You think you better than me in this" he said smirking with an eye brow raised.

"Yeah" I said with much confidence.

"I know I'm better" he said.

"I won!!!!" I shouted. "Am your queen!!!!"

"No hun, it's a tie" Mike said calmly.

"That's not what am gonna tell the guys" I said smiling silly.

When we were done, we returned the gun to the guy who gave it to us and we walked out into the car. It's already past 10 and I knew for sure we were going home. I had enjoyed my time and i couldn't have had the date any way else.

"I enjoyed the date" I told him and kissed him.

"It's not over yet love. One more thing" he said then cover my face with a black cloth.

"Can you see anything" he asked.

"No" and I wasn't lying, I couldn't see anything.

I could feel the breeze on my face while we were driving. We drove for a while. Then I heard the engine go off. Mike got down and opened my side door before helping me to come down. We walked for a while before we stopped then he removed the cloth.

"OMG!!!!" I was so shocked. Mike had set up a dinner for two. It was so amazing. The table and chair are set under a canopy.

"I can't believe you did this" I said with my hand over my mouth.

"I would do anything for you besides its not a date without a dinner" he said then kissed me.

Mike walked me to the dinner, we sat and the down and a waitress came and attended to us. The dinner went well. After eating, we sat for a while looking at each other and started talking.

"I love you" Mike said suddenly. I smiled at him.

"I love you too" I said.
