Chapter. 2

I was downstairs eating, so was Emilia, she was eating slower than I was; processing the dream. "That-this, hasn't happened in a long time, Crystal." Swallowing the bit of food I had, I answered, "I wouldn't know, Emilia. This is a lot to take in...I WANT to see them again, Emilia." Emilia looks at me, "You said that the radio station seemed to pull you in, right?" I slowly nod. "Go back, and see if the pull you claim to have felt got stronger, now that you somewhat saw your soulmate." I narrow my eyes, "Why?" Emilia threw a knife at my hands, it would've impaled my hand if I hadn't moved it. Baring my sharp teeth at her, I growl threateningly at her, ears perked up. Sensing fear emitting from her, I stop growling feeling satisfied. "I just have a feeling you should revisit the station." Shrugging I stand up with my dishes, wash, then put them in the cabinet. "Alright. I'll go revisit the station." I say as I bid Emilia goodbye.

Walking down the streets of Hell, demons cleared the path, allowing her to pass without a fuss. Those who were foolish enough to approach and hit on her, were brutally murdered by her shadows. Arriving at the station, the pull was stronger. Not thinking twice Crystal ran into the building, heading straight to the Airing Room. "It hasn't changed much since the last time I've been here." Waving her hand, in the air, the Airing Room was in decent condition. Sitting down on the spinny chair she summoned herself, she faced the machines. "I wonder..." Playing with the board she was on air. "Let's get this show on the road~!"

In another place, a brunet with beautiful emerald green eyes wakes up. Stretching his arms, he hears them pop. "Ah, there we go!" His usual smile on his face, looking at his nightstand he grabs his glasses and puts them on. "I do hope I see them once again tonight." Getting up from bed, he makes it, taking a clean pair of undergarments, undershirt, dress pants, and a suit he heads into the bathroom. Setting the shower water to warm, he steps in and washes himself, letting his thoughts run wild. "Who was that? How'd they get in? Why did I feel warm when I saw them? Why did I feel safe?" Dismissing his thoughts he finishes showering. After getting ready for his day he heads for the radio station, where he works.

Looking around he sees dirty children, desperately trying to sell what they could. "Sooo, many orphans." The male thought amusingly to himself, his smile widening ever so slightly. Arriving to the studio, he opens the doors and walks in. "Good morning gentleman!" The male energetically greets his coworkers. Some groan out a welcoming, one of them being a person the brunet personally loves to annoy. "Morning Alastor." "Morning to you too, Husker!" Alastor, the brunet, responded while heading to the Airing Room. "Alastor! Your about to go on air!" A coworker yells. "Yes yes, I am quite aware!" Sitting in his chair, Alastor adjusts his mic, the papers, then gives a thumbs up to the coworker behind the glass. The coworker nodded, counted down, and now Alastor was on air.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen! It's your host, Alastor! I do hope you are tuning in~!" Alastor give the morning news, the update on the stock market crash, the murders that have been going around, though when talking about it, he sounded ecstatic, far to happy. "My oh my! I do hope they catch that murderer! That is all there is to report! This is Alastor tuning out, folks~! Stay tuned~!" Alastor chuckled, soft jazz began to play. The broadcast ended, Alastor relaxed on his chair. "As if they'll catch me. I can't, I WON'T be caught." Chuckling to himself, Alastor stood up. The door to the Airing Room opened and closed, "Alastor." Said man turned around, "Ah, Husker my good friend, what can I do for you?" "Stop being so damn excited when you talk about the murders, that'll cause suspicion." Laughing Alastor responded, "I can not help it! I take great pride in what I do!" "Yeah? Well the police well take great pride in turning you in." "Don't be a sap, Husker! I've gone this long with out being caught!" Shaking his head, Husker opens his bottle of booze, "I'm just saying, on another note. You'll be locking up." Alastor looked at Husker in slight disbelief, "The whole studio? If so, that'll take a while."

Husker slapped the back of Alastor's head, Alastor glared at him, his welcoming warm smile, turned murderous and sinister. Grabbing Husker by the collar of his shirt, Alastor pulled him to face level, "DON'T touch me, Husker." Glaring, Husker shoved Alastor away, "Or what?" "Do you really want to know? Your in a room with a murderer who also happens to be a cannibal, Husker, be smart." Husker only rolled his eyes, "Right," Alastor didn't faze him, not now, not ever, hell probably not even in the afterlife. "Your not going to lock up the whole studio you sap, just the Airing Room, and since you take your sweet time, we all know you'll be the last one to leave. When you do leave, just lock the front of the studio." Setting the keys on Alastor's desk, Husk turned on his heel and walked out. Alastor looked around the Airing Room, fixing his mic, making sure the equipment were properly turned off, and in they're right place. After checking for what seemed the third time, satisfied, Alastor was about to leave. When all the equipment suddenly turned on, making the male stop in his tracks and turn around in disbelief. The once dull "On Air" sign turned on. Through the mic he can hear a faint, almost staticky; "Hello?"

Back in Hell, Crystal was able to hear the whole broadcast. "Stock market crash? I think I've heard of that from mom and dad. Murder? Wow...SOUNDS FUN!" Crystal thought to herself, feeling a bit silly, she leans into the mic and says, "Hello?" Leaning back, Crystal was about to turn it off when she heard a males voice reply, "Hello?" Her tail stood straight up, her ears perked up in alarm, and her eyes turned into slits. "The fuck?! I was NOT expecting a reply!" Feeling something cold grab her shoulder, she turns her head to see it was just her shadow. "Go on. Someone answered, it's rude to not respond back, Crystal." Crystal only mocked her shadow before replying, "Hello! Whose this?" "I could be asking the same thing, dear!" "I asked you first!" "I asked you second, darling!" Alastor laughed on the other side, he doesn't know who this woman is, but hearing her voice, brought him some sort of comfort. The same could be said for Crystal, hearing his voice brought a sense of warmth and happiness, making her tail wag slightly.

The two talked and talked, getting to know the other, "Okay! Okay! I got another one!" Laughter could be heard on the other side, "Do share, darling!" Clearing her throat, Crystal spoke, "Did you hear about the cow that was swept away in a tornado? It was an udder disaster!" Loud laughter could be heard, as well a the banging of a table, "D-darling-! Your k-killing me!" Alastor can't remember the last time someone made him laugh this much, his eyes were watering, his stomach hurt, but it was all worth it to him. Crystal also laughed, a laugh that Alastor has gotten addicted to in the last few hours of talking, "It's great to be talking to you!" "I could say the same thing, it's swell to be talking to you! Although I do have a question." "Oh? Ask." "It might sound silly, maybe even absurd, however; did you cause the equipment in the Airing Room to turn on?" That question caused Crystal to freeze in her spot, "W-what makes you say that?" "Just a feeling. Did you?"

Crystal didn't know how to respond, she could say yes and possibly lose her newly made friend, or avoid the question for as long as she could; "Yes. I'm the one who caused the equipment in the room to turn on." She doesn't know what possessed her to admit, but she admitted it, closing her eyes she waited for them to leave, to yell and no longer talk to her, but all she received was laughter, "My dear are you serious? You aren't lying are you?" "No, no I'm not." "I'll like some evidence if it isn't to much to ask for." "Evidence? You want evidence?" Crystal's eyes gave of a soft purple glow, "I'll give you evidence," her voice became deeper more demonic, her teeth turning sharper, "The lights in the Airing Room will flicker and go out, the very room itself will begin to shake as if a earthquake was there." As she listed off the things that will happen, Alastor was in total shock, the lights were flickering and then went out, the room began to shake as small objects tumbled and fell, "This isn't real!" Alastor thought to himself, "This is simply my mind playing games on me!" "Any more prove?" Alastor frantically pleaded for her to stop, and stop she did. The lights went back on, the shaking room ceased. It was silent, the only audible sound was Alastor's frantic, short, uneven, breathing.

Alastor couldn't see it, but Crystal was grinning widely, she absolutely loved striking fear into anyone; whether it be someone she knows or doesn't know, she takes great pleasure in seeing the fear on their face. And Alastor was no different. "Any more prove? I can shatter the windows in the very room you are in." "NO! No, please don't." Crystal laughed, "How did you do it?" "How'd I do what?" Crystal's voice went back to normal, as did her teeth. "T-the lights-! And the room-!" Alastor silently cursed himself for stuttering, "Why did I stutter?! I'm a murderer! And a cannibal! I shouldn't have been afraid of a little darkness! And her voice, it changed, how'd she do it?" Alastor thought to himsel, "I'll answer your question if you answer mine." Narrowing his eyes, he cautiously asks, "What question?" "What's your name?' "My name? You want my name?" "That's what I'm asking." Crystal grinned, "If I answer, will you answer my question?" "Yes I will." "Alastor, pleasure to be meeting you sweetheart, quite a pleasure!" Alastor answered with his usual charm. "Alastor...his name is Alastor...it has a nice ring to it." Crystal thought to herself, her tail wagging a tad bit faster, "Well, Alastor the pleasure is all mine! As for how I did the very things I did, I am a demon!"

Silence ensued, "A demon?" I ask, just to clarify I had heard correctly. "Yes that is what I said." I ran a shaky hand through my hair, "There is no such thing as demons!" "AM I A JOKE TO YOU, ALASTOR?! CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU SAY! JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT PHYSICALLY THERE WITH YOU! DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T HURT YOU!" I froze in my spot, "You can not harm me! If I recall correctly, demons stay in Hell! Unless summoned! Therefore, you can not harm me!" Just after I finished that sentence, a jolt of pain went through my head, making me grip it and quietly groan in pain. "As you were saying?" "This can't be, am I truly in contact with a demon? An entire different entity?" Looking at the mic I ask, "Did you do that?" "Yes I did! I have to go now, maybe I'll be able to talk to you soon?" "Your leaving?" I didn't understand why, but it upset me to know that she has to go, "Yes I do, it's getting late here in Hell." My smile flatters a little, "I see, wait a minute! I don't think I've gotten your name!" They laughed, "I never threw it out, but if you want to know it. Crystal, pleasure to be meeting you Alastor, quite the pleasure!" I laughed, "Using the same greeting?" "Yes, as I said, I have to go, be here tomorrow?" "Of course! I mean," I clear my throat, "Of course, Crystal." "Great! See you later! Goodbye!" Then the equipment turned off, "Curses, why did I allow myself to sound far to excited? I now know her name, Crystal, I've also gained a little information on her, she's a demon...and I'm going to talk to her again." Clasping my hands together I exclaim, "Splendid!" As I was about to pick up the objects that had fallen over, they pick themselves up and go to their respective spots. "Crystal did this..." I can almost hear her laughter.

Sighing Crystal slouched on her spinny chair, "I can't believe I told him I was a demon..." "You don't regret it, do you?" "Not one bit!" She stood up, her chair dissapeared, "Let's just go back!" "Whatever you say, Crystal." The shadow surrounded Crystal, and now she was home; "Thanks!" The shadow only nodded then disappeared, "Emilia! I'm back unharmed!" "Yes I can see that." Emilia hugged Crystal, she hesitantly hugs back. Crystal wasn't used to physical affection, she has locked herself in her room. "Yeah, what's for dinner?" "Rosted chicken, grilled cheese, tacos and burritos, for dessert it's raspberry macaroons." Squealing excitedly, Crystal zooms to the kitchen, getting a bit of everything, "Thank you so much, Emilia!" Emilia laughed, "Of course! You have a big appetite!" Walking into the kitchen, Emilia could see Crystal eating like theres no tomorrow, "Save me some!" Swallowing the food Crystal had she answered, "I will! I will!"

As Crystal and Emilia enjoyed dinner, Alastor has locked up the studio, and headed home. Upon arrival, he opened his door, then closed it. "This is going to be very entertaining!" He changed his clothes and headed out with a knife in hand. The murderer struck that night as they did the previous night.

New chapter! Yippee! I'm not sure if Husk/Husker worked with Alastor, but I still put him in there because he is one of my homeboys.
Anyway, Sap is a 1920's slang word, meaning "a fool, an idiot" okay that's all, bye bye!
