"I hope Akaashi's okay" the blond murmed to his boyfriend. "He's fine" Kuroo replied whilst pulling the boy in closer. "Do you wanna give him a call" he asked with a smile. Kenma
looked deep in thought as the quietness was shattered by the police chief re entering the room.

"Are you ok to continue?" he asked Kenma who nodded in response. He wanted to get this over and done with so that he could get back to the comfort of his friends, so he cleared his throat and began.

"For some reason Touma left the room which meant that I was left alone with Hideo and Kiyoshi. Everything seemed to escalate so quickly, I wasn't ready for it" the boy whimpered.

"Look, he's had enough" Kuroo shouted angrily. "I'm fine, I need to tell him" the boy continued. "Hideo completely lost it and began punching and kicking me. I heard my arm snap and began to panic, I really thought he was going to kill me" he cried. "That's enough!" Kuroo shouted as he tried to comfort the boy.

"No I need to say this" he sobbed. "That's when Kiyoshi got involved. He tried to forcibly stop Hideo and it turned into an all out fight until Kiyoshi grabbed the nearest thing and hit him with it. He didn't mean to kill him, he was trying to save me and then Touma re entered the room and when he saw Hideo he lost it."

"Do you need to take a break, Kozume san?" the lawyer asked. "No, just please let me finish" Kenma replied. "Touma had a hammer in his hand, apparently he was going to use it on me and then get rid of Akaashi but when he saw what Kiyoshi had done he attacked him. When he was unconscious he turned to me, I knew I was next until Habiki messaged him to tell him that you were all on your way, so he left."

"You've been so brave" Kuroo whispered in the boys ear, "I'm so proud of you." Kenma cuddled closer into the boys chest and broke down.

"Thank you Kozume san, you get some rest" the officer instructed. "Have you finished with my client?" the lawyer asked. "Yes we're satisfied that he did nothing to charge him with so he's free to go when the doctors discharge him" he replied.

"What about Habiki?" Kuroo asked with an hint of annoyance in his voice. "When we find the two fugitives they'll be going down for a long time but we'll keep you all under surveillance until then" The officer thanked them all and left the room.

Kenma looked at his boyfriend and asked that he go to Kiyoshi's room to check on him and to fill Terushima in on the details of exactly what had happend, so Kuroo left Kenma with Kiyoko and Yachi.

As he reached the room where Kiyoshi was being treated he took a deep breath. He felt a little weird being there as he looked at a tired and extremely worried Teru. "What's up dude? How's Kenma?" the blond asked.

"I'm so sorry man, Kenma told me everything" The boy just looked at him, it was like he couldn't take anything in so Kuroo continued, "he was forced into playing along with the others or they threatened to kill you. He saved Kenma after Hideo attacked him but it was Touma, under Habiki's order, that did that to him." Kuroo stopped as he pointed at the unconscious boy laying in the bed beside him.

"I knew that what we have is real, I knew he couldn't be involved in something so hainus." Terushima smiled just as the alarms started to go off, "NO, NO" screamed the blond, "get the doctor" he shouted at Kuroo as he stood in the midst of extreme panic.
