Chapter 8: That's so awesome. You're so awesome

Hannah:

Waking up on a Saturday morning, reflecting on what happened last night at the party. I almost wanted to have sex with Charlie. I look to my side, Linda is still sleeping since we decided, well she decided, to sleep over my house for the weekend. She ended up coming here around four am, Edward dropped her off since she was a little tipsy.

Before going to sleep she told me they had a fight. I left the party around two, calling a cab and went to bed immediately. I didn't say goodbye to Charlie because I felt embarrassed about the way I threw myself at him, also he was with Austin and Max the rest of the night; I so did not want to see Max after I kicked him in the balls. I love Charlie. Do I love him anyway? It could be infatuation.

I got up from my bed gently to not wake up Linda, used the bathroom and wash my hands with my foam soap mom bought from Costco. As I exited the bathroom, I reached for my phone from the charger to see if I have any missed calls. Both from my parents around the midnight and one from Seth, which made me wonder why he's calling me after so long. Also checking my messages Charlie texted me four times, Linda twice, Ed once, Mom once.

Linda- I'm doing body shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME SHOW OFF UR BODY TO DO ONE! ;) 1:34am

Linda- Eddie's mad at me so I'm mad at him! 3:50am

Loopy- I'm sorry for what happened. Are you ok? 12: 20am
Loopy- Where are u, did u leave? 12:59am
Loopy- Where are u? 1:39am

Loopy- I hope ur at home so goodnight and text me when u get this 2:19am

Eddie- Tell Linda that to take two advil 4:15am

Mom- I saw you and Linda asleep this morning so I didn't want to wake you up. Me and your dad are running errands all day so see you at dinner 10:01am

I decided to text Ed first, 'i will,' replying to Charlie that I was fine and left around two am. I texted my mom back 'all right' and 'I love you' to both her and dad, making my way downstairs to make breakfast for me and Linda to cure her hangover. She can't she just have one drink like me and be civil at a party? I sighed at this thought, bringing out eggs, bacon and bread. As I finished the eggs, I started grilling the bacon and toasting the bread I heard footsteps from the stairs. "Smells great," Linda's voice sounded groggy and tired.

"Afternoon." I greeted her.

Really?" She asked and I nodded as I put the food on two plates. I saw her pull out her phone to check the time. "It's 11:39am," she said.

"I know," I said with a small smile and she frowned.

"Ed didn't call or text me." .

"He texted me though." I poured juice in two cups.

"What did he say?"

"He said to take two advil." She sighed heavily and muttered crap. I sat down with the food in my plate then started eating. "What happened with you guys last night anyway?" I asked with my mouth full.

"Ugh, he got mad at me when I was doing body shots off this dude, telling me I have no respect for him and I said back he was being dramatic. He called me a slut and then it got heated when I told him that I think about other guys when we make out."

"Linda, no."

"It's not true, but I was drunk and angry. So he yelled and said to get my own ride and stormed off."

"Who took you here then?"

"Louis." My eyes widened at her one worded statement. So he took her here, now he knows where I live, great.

"How did you convince to take you here?" I questioned. She had an evil grin on her face and I got real suspicious. "Linda, what did you do?"

"Ha ha, well I kind of told him about you, that you're pretty and single and to meet us at the mall."

"LINDA!" I yelled.

"Look, Han you need this. We can double date now." I sighed, resting my head on hand with frustration; I can't believe she did that. How am I supposed to show up at the mall and say I'm interested in him when I'm with someone?

"Fine, when are we meeting him?" She smiled widely and ran to me for a tight ass hug.

"I texted him and said at four. I gave him your number too." I was about to protest but she rushed upstairs not wanting to hear what I was going to say. Since we finished our meal, placing the dishes in the dishwasher I made my way upstairs to my room to get ready. I asked Linda if she called him.

"He still hasn't picked up," she told me. I shook my head and got my face wash and toothbrush to take a quick shower so Linda can take one too. After I was done, she went right in and I started to moisturize and grabbing my clothes: skinny jeans, blue t-shirt and boots with my black hoodie.

Linda was done and asked for some clothes to borrow, I gave her a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans with the shoes from last night. Linda informed me that Louis is outside my house, I nodded and follow her to the front door. We saw him in his blue Camry, smiling at us as we made our way to the car. "Ready to go?" he asked and we nodded, checking at his ensemble: white long sleeve shirt and dark denim jeans for this warm day. He drove off in a moderate speed, the drive silent and actually comfortable, heading into town we arrived at the mall parking lot. We got out and started to make our way to the shops. Macy's coming into view, I headed inside with Linda beside me and Louis behind us, browsing at the fragrances for any new scents.

"I didn't see you for the rest of last night, what happened when I left you on the dance floor?" Louis asked out of the blue.

"Oh, uh I went to the bathroom. I got bored then went home." I explained, even though it was lie.

"By yourself? I could have taken you home." He said looking up from the fragrances to look up at me.

"Oh, it's fine I took a cab." I forced a smile.

"Well I just thought that I would spend more time with you."

I smiled, "we are now." He smiled back and grabbed my hand, starting to entwine it but I let go. "Do you like Maryland?" I asked inching away from him.

"Yeah, the weather is nice here. At least it changes and there's less storm disasters." I laughed, heading to the jeans section looking through the sizes.

"How long have you been a swimmer?" I heard a girl's voice asked.

"Since my freshman year." Responded the voice of my secret boyfriend, peeking through the jeans and i was right. Her holding his biceps tight and being way too close to him.

"That's so awesome. You're so awesome." I heard her coo. Ew, can't she think of anymore adjectives? They almost inched to my way, but I crouched down and hid so they won't see me. I started to look around for Linda, but it looked like I lost her.

"What are we hiding for?" asked Louis in a hushed voice that made me jump up.

"Oh, I thought I dropped a pair of jeans from the rack." I replied with a shaky laugh.

"You're funny," he said with a cute smile.

"Louis!" The girl's voice that Charlie was with squeaked, seeing them in front of us.

"Raven, hi what's up?" Louis greeted her.

"You're shopping here?" She asked.

"Just browsing with my friend Hannah." He put his arm around me, I gave a sheepish smile as I looked to Charlie who is glaring at me and him.
