Chapter 12: You still wanna hang out?

Hannah:

"What do you want, Lucy?" I asked with a bored expression. I was actually happy when I didn't see her or her group to bother me and my friends, but lo and behold she's here in my face with a smug look. Max and Austin by her side but no Charlie or Ally. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen him all day today. Is he with her? No, they couldn't do that. She's loves Austin and I'm with Charlie, I know for a fact that he can't stand her. He couldn't do that, right?

"Well I just thought that I see my favorite loser in school."

"Really? After all that, that's the best you come back with?" I chuckled lightly. Her smile fell, I could see the wheels turning in her head to think of something to say.

She turned to Louis then smiles, "hi. Who are you?" She twirled her hair with her fingers, giving a flirtatious look.

"Louis," he said confused.

"I'm Lucy, the best thing in this school. Why are you hanging with Hannah? Did she spread her dorkness on you too?"

"No, she's a friend of mine," he glanced my way and smiled. I grinned back.

"You like hanging out with her? She's such a lame ass person."

"Well I think she's cool."

"Please! She likes that thing where the kids dress up and play 'dungeons and dragons' crap," she said with disgust.

"It's called 'larping' and I only did it once to see if it was fun!" It was in the ninth grade and my cousin is into larping. Larping, well LARP is Live Action Role Play with dungeons and dragons, or other types of fandoms come together and role play characters. It was fun and I got to where a princess outfit.

"Right, it seemed real fun from the Facebook pics we saw." She laughed, Max and Austin joined her too. I begged my cousin not to post those pictures there, but he did. I couldn't blame him though, he's only 13.

Rolling my eyes, "Whatever, Luce. Bye followers," I gave a fake smile walked away in a fast pace without looking back and opened the school's front door. She's such a bitch, always trying to mess me up in some way. Charlie would have- wait, Charlie would have done nothing. He would just stand there with a zipped lip and a blank face, ugh so annoying. Where the hell was he today? I need to talk to him.

"Hannah!" Louis running toward me.

"Oh, Louis sorry about all of that" I said apologetically.

"It's cool. Is she always like that?" he asked.

"You should see her when she's on her period. She's a monster." We both laugh; I pulled out my chapstick from the side pocket of my backpack and apply it on my lips.

"You still wanna hang out?" he gave me a toothy smile and I couldn't help but smile too, it's contagious.

"Yeah, do you have a place that you like around here?"

"I was thinking just to the food court at the mall."

"Let's go." We walked to the parking lot, got into the car, and he put his key in the ignition and slowly pulled out of the school's parking lot. I texted Linda and Edward that I'm with Louis, she send me an emoticon of a smiley face and 'good luck!' I know that she's so fangirling over this.

Charlie:

I didn't go to school today, because I wasn't feeling well. I expected Hannah to call me but she didn't all day. I woke up with a terrible fever, mom insisted that I stay home so I don't spread germs at school. So I called her around four, because she turned off her phone during school hours. She didn't pick up on the third call so I decided to text her.

Loopy- Hey. U at home?

I waited for a while for a response, then I stood up to drink the tea mom made me. Some gross stinky ginger tea but I had to drink it to soothe my throat. I went to the kitchen to find our cook Molly so she can make me some tomato soup. She's such a sweet middle aged woman, working with us for five years and always said yes to me. As I waited for my soup I checked my phone to see if she texted back.

Bubbles- No, with a friend

Loopy- Linda?

She took ten minutes to text back.

Bubbles- Louis

What the hell does she see in that guy? He's a douche. I get that she's showing him around the school and stuff but he's getting too comfortable with my girl. I wanted to text that she should go home right now but that would be me being possessive and I know she doesn't like that.

Loopy- Oh.

Bubbles- Where were u today?! I tried looking for u but no Charlie ☹

Loopy- I'm sick, sweetie. Don't be sad

Bubbles- aww, poor baby! U want me to come over and take care of u? ;)

Loopy- I would love that. Maybe u can use the back door and I'll let u in.

Bubbles- Ok. See u soon!

Loopy- Bye!

At least I get a personal nurse for an hour or maybe five.
