Reiji's POV
~~~~~~~~~~
I was currently in my study creating new potions and waiting for Kaori to arrive to work. The others are also waiting for her arrival and have been quite anxious since earlier.

Flashback - Before School
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone was gathered in the main hall and were waiting to leave. I stood on the side and began to speak.

"Everyone, today we're to remain here instead of going to school." All noise went silent after those words and every eye was directed towards me except Shu's. Useless.

Ruki closed his book and asked, "And, what would be the reason for such a thing?"

After a second of thought, I responded with, "Karlheinz has notified me that we are to stay here for today."

Ayato stood up. "Woo-hoo!!! I don't have to waste my night at that boring a** place."

Both me and Ruki said, "Language."

"How sad. I won't be able to play with any of my kittens tonight. Well, I guess that means that B*tch-chan and I are gonna have some extra fun today, ne?" Laito said this as he looked at Yui-San who immediately shook in fear.

Weak. I honestly questioned what Karlheinz was thinking when he chose her as our bride. Before the conversation could get even more out of hand, I spoke up.

"One more thing," everyone quieted down again, "I have also requested for someone to arrive later today. Ruki, Kou and Shu, you are all needed for this meeting."

"Why is it only them. Ore-sama demands to see them as well." Ayato shouted.

"Will you ever shut up. That Ore-sama sh*t is annoying as hell." Subaru yelled back and punched the wall next to him. Honestly, will I ever see this house in one piece?

I waited until they were settled again and calmly stated, "You aren't needed because this deals with a school assignment and she doesn't know anyone besides us."

At those words, Shu finally opened his eyes and stared at me. Kou glared meanwhile Ruki had a calm expression as if in deep thought. Everyone else claimed confused based by their faces.

"She?" Yuma asked while chewing on one of his endless cubes. They seemed to realize the meaning of my words and waited for me to explain.

"Yes. It is a she that will be arriving. She is one of my partners along with the other 3 and since we won't be at school today, I found it necessary that we make up for lost time. So, behave while she is here or you will be punished."

I aimed the last part at the triplets. I noticed that Kou's eye was glowing. "That's only an excuse and you know it. You want to keep her here and "examine" her to expose her secrets."

After he was done talking, his eye returned went back to being dull. That eye is quite irritating at times.

That caught everyone's attention and looks of interests appeared on their faces as they wondered who this mystery girl was.

"That is true. You can't say you aren't interested in discovering her secrets as well." He said nothing; not having a valuable answer and I continued.

"She will arrive once school is over. You are now dismissed."

In less than a blink of an eye, everyone teleported to wherever except Yui-san who timidly walked up the stairs and up towards her room.

I also left the hall to my room and began to mix a new concoction waiting for Kaori-san to arrive.

Present
~~~~~~~~
As I finished making my 23rd potion, I felt the presence of a car appear at the front gate and teleported back down to the hall along with everyone else despite me telling them to stay away.

We patiently waited for the door to open. The door finally opened showing 2 figures. The first through the door was the familiar and the second was her.

If you weren't aware that her hair was hair, it could easily pass as blood. All was quiet. Nobody new that this simple event would change our existences forever.

Kou's POV

As she walked through the door, my eye began to glow again. All I saw was pure darkness, so I gave up. I don't understand. This has never happened before.

I unconsciously looked at her with a frustrated expression and Reiji spoke up.

"Muto-san thank you for accepting my invitation and taking time out of your night for this. It is quite appreciated." She looked at us with her typical blank expression and remained quiet.

I decided to say something; hoping to break the ice. "Hi, S Neko-chan~. Nice to see you again." I used my award-winning smile and acted happy; expecting for her to begin fangirling.

Nothing. Absolutely no reaction. She stood their with the same face. This girl is unbelievably irritating. How can a girl still be standing after my brilliant smile? Though, annoyed I kept the happy facade.

Ruki seemed to noticed my annoyance and stepped in before I could embarrass my self even further. "Good evening, Kaori-san. How about we begin on our assignment?"

After that, he began to walk off along with Shu and Reiji and soon followed without a word.

I expected to catch her scent when she walked passed me but I received nothing. The h*ll? It's almost as if she wasn't even there. I moved to follow and inspected her outfit.

She wore a grey and black Nike hoodie along with white skinny jeans. Black and white Adidas were on her feet and a pair of black Beats rested around her neck meanwhile a black backpack hung from one of her shoulders.

There was no traces of makeup anywhere on her face and her hair was tied in a high ponytail.

I wonder if her blood is as bright as her hair. Doesn't really matter as long as it's delicious. I'll make sure to be the first to decide.

Eventually, we made our way to the library and began working on the assignment. Every now and then, I would glance at her and now and then she would catch me.

Though, it didn't show in her expression, I could tell that she was annoyed by my actions. After a couple of hours, the assignment was completed and she prepared to leave.

She walked out the library door and made her way to the front door. We teleported there to catch her before she could escape.

She got there a couple of minutes after we did but she didn't seemed surprised by the fact that we arrived first even though we left second. I do wonder how S Neko-chan knows of our existence and why.

She tried to pass by us but Reiji blocked the door and said, "I'm afraid Muto-san that you can't leave. You will have to remain here."

We all, expected her to have the normal reaction and become terrified and try to escape but she said the last thing I ever expected her to say.

"Okay."
