I continued running and quickly found Yui. I saw her cornered by Ayato in the cooking room. He grabbed her and just as he was about to bite her, I kicked him in his ribs, breaking multiple in the process.

He winced and let go of Yui who just happened to be unconscious. She began to fall and I caught her before she could hit the ground. I calmly laid her down against the wall and turned to face him.

"It seems that throw out the window wasn't enough for you. Maybe I should try again."

Before he could respond, the room's door slid open revealing a calm Reiji. He walked in and closed the door quickly.

"I am truly disappointed, Ayato. You actually tried to bite her here. You could have exposed us. What were you thinking?" Though Reiji seemed to be impassive on the outside, it was clear he was pissed.

Ayato faced him and yelled, "It's her fault for tempting Ore-sama with her blood! Since she was so willing to be bit, I thought why not take it!"

He said with a cocky smirk and Reiji just looked at him. "I expect you to take responsibility for her and take her home." And with that, he left us.

"How dare he order Ore-sama around!" Despite him saying such things, he turned around anyway and moved to grab Yui.

Before he could touch her, I easily threw her over my shoulder and moved away from his reach.

"I'll take it from here. You are not needed." I said in a flat voice. I walked out the room without another word and left to take her back to the mansion.

What idiot what trust him with her? He'll probably try to drown the girl or something stupid.

I reached the exit and saw the bloodsucker's limo still there. When I got near, the familiar popped out of nowhere and opened the door for me.

It seems their familiar stays in the parking lot all night along with the limo until the school night is over.

I climbed in and laid her down on the seats. The limo soon drove off and I thought during the ride while listening to music.

This mission is completely ridiculous. First, Commander releases me, and then, he reinstates me to protect this useless princess that has never seen a day of pain a single second of her life before arriving here.

And, I can't leave her unwatched since she's practically asking to be bit or allow a single hair on her head get injured. To top it all off, I am surrounded by vampire a**holes...That's fun.

I felt the car stop and the familiar opened the door for me. I grabbed Yui and exited. The oversized doors opened on their own and I walked through.

I'm sure the same thing happened for her when she first arrived. And yet she still entered when the f*cking door opened on its own?

...What a dumba**. Whoever raised her didn't love her enough to teach her common sense.

I eventually made it to her room and laid her down on the ugly pink covers. I left and went back to my room. I grabbed my laptop and began writing my daily report.

Before I typed a letter, I noticed a file that didn't belong there. I clicked on it and saw that it was sent from Commander. I decoded the message quickly and read it thoroughly...It was another mission.

Purpose: Mission Briefing

Summary: 01 you are to terminate rogues that have been causing too many issues. Their plan is to massacre an entire town tomorrow night. Complete your task before this occurs. You are granted permission to do whatever is needed. Failure to do so will lead to immediate termination and the destruction of any knowledge of your existence. We expect perfect results. Remember, don't let anyone discover who you are.

Great. *sigh* At least I can have an hour away from them. I deleted the file and continued my report. Once I was done, I placed Yui's monitor in my ear and went to sleep.

Though I typically don't need to sleep, for 5 hours every week it's mandatory that I rest. This was a special practice taught to me in the military so we could be alert more efficiently and not be as vulnerable during missions.

I laid down and quickly fell into a quiet darkness.

Time Skip - 5 hours later

I woke up from my typical dreamless sleep and looked at the time on my phone. 6 p.m., eh...Just enough time to start my mission and get back in time for school without being suspicious.

I got up feeling refreshed and began preparing for my task. I changed into black skinny jeans and black high tops. I also grabbed a strapless black crop top along with a long black hoodie trench coat.

Various weapons were placed in their holsters that were strapped to my legs and were hidden from plain sight.

I took the ear piece out and laid it on the night stand. Don't need that for now. Commander will send a substitute monitor that will watch over Yui in my place while I am completing my task.

Though, I doubt much will happen since all of them should still be asleep. I threw up my hood and jumped out the window, landing silently on my feet.

I walked out of the gates and grabbed something round and cold from my pocket. It was a steel bracelet.

I threw it up into the air and when it hit the ground, it transformed into a black Kawasaki Ninja 650.

I swung my leg over and the engine came to life when I touched the handles thanks to biometric recognition. I drove off and the only sound that could be heard was from my even breathing.

I had the motor tweaked to the point that its sound was deader than my heart...If that's even possible.

I reached the wear house where the rouges were preparing. I turned the bike back into a bracelet and slipped it onto my wrist. I scaled the wall easily and made it up to the roof quickly.

There was glass window on top, so I shattered it silently with a frequency pulser I had attached. I jumped through the opening with ease and landed on one of the beams that were hanging above the ground.

I heard voices in the wear house and moved stealthily on the beams to get closer.

"Boss, when do we leave?" I saw that one of the rouges was currently drinking from a random girl and was surrounded by about 30 others.

There's no reason to save her since I know she'll be dead in a minute anyway. Why waste my energy and time? The guy that was drinking earlier finished and dropped the girls' lifeless body to the ground.

He gave a twisted, bloody smile and said, "When I feel like it."

The one who asked the original question took a step back from the psychotic rouge and quickly nodded his head.

"I just hope that the Faceless Knight doesn't appear." Another rouge muttered.

Though quiet, it seemed to catch the psychopaths attention. "The...what?"

The rouge quickly explained, not wanting to piss off their leader.

"The Faceless Knight, sir. They are pretty much a ghost to the world. They only appear to take down schemes such as ours and disappear after that. Nobody has seen their face since they always wear a hood and coat that covers them completely."

"...Faceless...Knight, eh?" The leader seemed to be thinking and then suddenly began laughing hysterically which made all of his men jump.

"What a coward to hide his face. It will be easy to strike him down if he appeared tonight!" The other guys cheered and I was just watching from above.

What an idiot. They'd have such an imbecile of a person as their leader? They might as well should just shoot themselves now. I soon got tired of hearing their voices and spoke up.

"Oh? I wouldn't count me out yet." They all became quiet immediately and snapped their heads towards my direction. The one that explained about my ridiculous name began shaking.

I heard the guy next to him asked if he was okay, but he just turned around and began running away. Coward. I drew my gun and shot him in the chest.

His body dropped and never stood up again. They turned away from their dead comrade and looked back at me only to find me standing in front of them.

I drew out a second gun and killed 10 of them instantly, all head shots. One tried to kicked me but I blocked their leg with my gun and then shot them in the throat.

He'll die eventually. I moved on and killed the rest leaving only the Supreme Leader.

He dropped to his knees and began begging me to spare him.

"P-Please, don't k-kill me! I p-promise I w-won't d-do this a-again! J-just don't kill m-me, p-please!" He began crying and was shaking violently.

"Oh, what happened to being able to strike me down without difficulty. I don't think a coward would have been able to lay down your men so easily."

He became deathly pale and fear consumed him.

"I-I didn't m-mean i-it! P-please!"

I leaned closer to him and said, "Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you."

He relaxed a little bit and seemed relieved.

"T-thank y-you. You w-won't r-regret this."

I looked at his eyes and gave a small smirk though he couldn't see it obviously.

"I'm just going to take something you can't live without."

Before he could say anything else, I launched my hand forward and his eyes widened, then dulled soon after. I moved my hand back and held his heart in my hand.

His body dropped face forward to the ground and blood pooled around him. I looked at his heart and then his corpse.

"I think we're even now. Since I don't have a heart, then neither should you."
