To my fellow friends with drink in hand.
I make this vow. This chant. My stand.
Let's raise a glass...or maybe two.
Let us live our lives and enjoy it too!

Sometimes it's nice to chill with a simple drink.
It allows the mind to relax, and not overthink.

People think drinking is bad and whatnot.
But it depends on the amount consumption you sought.

A casual drink or two? Maybe three?
Or was it a dozen?
Know your limits between completely plastered and a light buzzin'

See its nice to just live in the edge, yet still not fall.
Slightly tipsy yet alert, laughing, and enjoying it all.

It's nice to just relax and loosen up; to not have a mind plagued with thoughts.
To be able to enjoy an evening without the weight on your shoulders or any fights fought.

It's freedom from a restless mind.
It's about enjoying yourself; having a good time.

So let's drink to freedom, let's drink to fun.
Let's drink a little tonight and more to come.
