Chapter 7; Neon Gravestones

Corey woke up one morning with an empty bed beside him. Casper left? What really caught him off guard was the fact that her book was open, faced up. Corey took this chance to grab it and sift through the pages. All the pages were filled with information about brainwashing, and how it's one of the Bandito's many mastery's. He sifted through even more, talk about the carnations filled an entirety of two, twelve paged chapters of the book. One chapter for each flower. The book obviously praised the red carnation, calling it the 'rebel red', and discussing how the 'invisible flowers' were poisonous, causing an amnesia effect.

Corey was angry, fair enough, but he felt he had to do something. He grabbed his jacket and put it on in a rush, leaving the tent to look for Casper. He snuck out of the camp and ran towards the towers.

Corey found the girl standing in front of one of the glowing gravestones. he quickly took some steps close to her before speaking "What are you doing out here? It's not safe!". She quickly turned, revealing the rebel red's in her hands, and some of the tape on her jacket ripped off.

"I can't stay here. I hate it here, and soon enough, you will too." She replied quietly as she stood up to face Corey."you don't have to do this, Casper... You can stay her--'

"I want to see my family again you heartless fool!" Casper yelled, interrupting Corey. "Dema is my way home!"

Corey refused to believe Dema was the true way home, maybe he was just too dense, or maybe he was one of the brainwashed. either way he felt like he was too stupid to handle this situation.

Casper grabbed the neon gravestone, it burned a bit, but the stone turned to a |-\ shape, Casper sighed and looked at her hand. "it's time..." she said as she started walking. "glorious vista..." she mumbled. Corey tried to scream her name, and get her to stop, telling her it wasn't worth it, before seeing her disappear in front of the city.

Corey fell onto his knees, a headache started coming on. He started to hear voices, quiet whispers asking him questions. "you miss her don't you? you could never let her go. You had a crush on her didn't you?" The innocent, but offensive questions turned evil. "Come home with us and you will see her again. she won't find her way home without you. you failed her". Corey took a nearby rock and threw it at one of the gravestones, a spark came out of the light as the stone bounced off. ''SHUT UP!" he shouted, tightly gripping the hair on his head as the headache got worse. He stood up and stumbled off, away from the place, his vision got blurry. on his way, he turned to see what he could only describe as a 'Blurryface', before passing out from most likely exhaustion. The last thing he felt was his head slamming on the hard soil
