Corey and Casper walked through the deserted, Dead, burned down tree forest, searching for resources that we're useful enough to take back to the camp. This was dangerous work, as they were hunting for valuable resources, they were also being chased by the nine bishops. Every lone bandito was a dead bandito, which is why Corey was never allowed to leave camp alone, and neither was Casper; However, Casper used this opportunity to try and run back to Dema.

    Corey got distracted by the vultures, who now seemed to be flying after them. Casper started break off of the path. Corey grabbed a small yellow carnation on the ground and shoved in In his coat pocket in case he needed it. When Corey turned to ask Casper a question, when he noticed the girl was missing, he looked around, only to find that she was running toward the tall towers in the distance. Corey screamed Casper's name as he quickly started to chase after her.

    Corey got close enough o grab Casper's hand "Stay with me!" he said firmly. Casper looked down at the dried soil ground "No..." she mumbled as she tried to pull away, but Corey kept his grip firm on Casper's wrist. "You don't need to run." Corey replies, almost cutting off Casper's 'no'. 

    Casper seemed to have gotten his message, even though it was vague. She nodded and followed again, but kept her eyes on the towers, only glancing down very few times to prevent herself from falling on her face.

    After Corey filled his bag of food, he turned around and got ready to head back to camp. he kept ahold of Casper's hand so she wouldn't escape back to Dema. he stopped for a moment to look into her eyes as a way to say 'don't do it.'. Corey then started to walk back to camp.

    The continuing days after this was the same, he was sent out along with Casper to collect resources for the camp, and every day, Casper seemed to be even more hypnotized at the view of the towers, and she seemed to be getting sad whenever she was at camp, she still refused to let anyone but herself read her book, and she even brought it with her on the searches.
