Olivia's POV:
"What's up? Oh, let's see. Um...you missed free period workout yesterday to audition for some heinous musical." Chad started sarcastically. "Oh god" I thought and cringed at what would be following. " and now suddenly people are..." Chad thought of the right word to say. "...confessing! And oh yeah, Zeke is baking" He pointed at Zeke. Troy, unbothered by that, had a little conversation with Zeke about crème brûlée, what caused me to let out a chuckle. Chad tensed up, eyeing me shortly before turning back to Troy to continue his rant. My stomach felt weird as I had locked eyes with Chad, even if it was only for a few seconds.

"Look, do you see what's happening here man? Our team is coming apart because of your singing thing" "Hey hey hey, Chad don't over do it dude" I clicked in the conversation. "Everybody should be allowed to have multiple hobbies! It's completely okay to be into basketball AND singing" Chad looked at me startled. "Look, Olivia, you're new here, but there is meaning behind the certain groups in Highschool and we should not just throw them away. Great that you get along with other people, for example Ryan . I do not want some weird ass people to talk to me!" I was genuinely shocked by what Chad just said. "Man up Chad" Is the only thing I could think of to say before grabbing Troy by the arm, dragging him behind me out of the room.

Third persons POV
The day flew by and before Olivia knew it she was at home lying in bed. Considering her overthinking mind, she assumed that sleep wouldn't find her any time soon. She couldn't stop thinking about Chads sad eyes when she left him standing in the room but she didn't regret what she said. It may have been a bit direct but what the boy had said was just wrong. She sighed as she turned to the side. Tomorrow they would have another basketball practice. Olivia stood behind Troy and his musical thing as long as he still would give his best in the games. She hoped the boys wouldn't make too much drama about it.

Chad was lying in his bed, desperately trying to fall asleep. His mind kept repeating the words Olivia had said to him. Man up Chad. Has he really been that immature about it? He couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that he cared so much about Olivia's opinion on him. He had just met the girl a few days ago but he never seemed to get her brown eyes out of his mind. The boy sighed. He hoped tomorrow would be better than today.

The next day went by drama free for Olivia till Nutrition Break. She was just walking to her locker as she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. As she turned around she was met by familiar brown eyes. Chad removed his hand quickly and gave her a tight smile. "Hey" the boy said awkwardly. "Hi" Olivia was still not completely over what had happened the day before. "I wanted to...apologize" The boy in front of her dragged out. "I was acting like a child and I'm sorry. I still have to handle things with Troy but I hope we could go back to...normal?" Olivia looked at him for a second too long. Butterflied had made their way to the girls stomach as the boy looked at her with apologetic eyes. "I guess I could forgive you" She said, teasing the boy. They smiled at each other, both not aware of the effect they had on the other person.

In free period there was another practice considering the play off game next week they wanted to practice as much as they could. Jack started the practice with practicing our passes. I paired up with Zeke and passed him the ball while I kept taking secret glances at Chad. A few times the two teenagers locked their eyes accidentally what caused them to quickly look away with roses cheeks. "Guys come on, focus! Get your head in the game" The coach continued to motivate us. Zeke was just about to pass Olivia the ball as Jack caught it. He looked at me with drawn in eyebrows. "You've seen Troy?" The mood in the room quickly changed. Olivia sighed. "No coach" He looked down disappointed before blowing in his whistle. "Ok guys, another round!" 5 minutes before the end of free period Jack ended the practice. "That's it guys! Let's hit the showers" "Please!" Olivia shouted jokingly causing everybody to chuckle. On the way out of the hall Troy appeared next to the coach. Olivia and Chad, the last ones to leave, looked at him shortly before Chad gave him the basketball with a little too much force and Olivia following the boy. She was about to take a turn to the girls dressing rooms before she felt and arm around her waist.

"Hey"
