Chad's POV:

After basketball practice Troy and I had to go to detention. I couldn't really focus in practice and messed up a few times. I just couldn't get that certain brunette out of my head. "So...your cousin's got attitude..." I tried to start a conversation with Troy. "Ahh yeah. She's great, isn't she!" Troy pointed out. "Man, that comment to Talyor...I was speechless" he laughed and I joined hesitant. As we finished the practice we ran to detention because we were pretty late already. Ms. Darbus wasn't exactly happy about that but she let it be. I looked around and saw the girl that didn't want to get out of my mind today. I spotted her painting a tree. "You two join Ms. Bolton" Ms. Darbus demanded and continued talking about the winter musicale. Olivia waved us over the moment she saw as. "Is she always in such a mood?" she asked jokingly. "Kind of" i answered and she giggled. Can't deny guys; My heart skipped a beat. Then we started painting the tree. Troy climbed up and had to glue the leaves on. And I kind of...fell asleep.

Third person's POV:

Troy was tickling the sleeping Chad with a leaf. Olivia watched them and couldn't hide a smirk...well actually she was only watching Chad. Meanwhile the coach wanted to start the real practice for today and that was when he realized that his two best players - Troy and Chad - weren't there. „Where's Troy and Chad?" he asked the rest of the team, his motivation immediately dropped. The boys avoided to meet the coaches eyes and awkwardly looked around the gym. "Don't make me ask against." A silence followed and Jack got angry. "Where's Troy and Chad??" he shouted. The boys jumped. "Detention..." they muttered. Jack sighed and makes his way over to the theater where detention usually is.

"Where's my team Darbus? What the heck are those two doing in a tree?" he asked the second he entered the room. Troy and Chad immediately sat straight. Olivia watched the whole scenario amused and thought that popcorn would be great. "It's called crime and punishment, Bolton. You are officially the third with that name in this room. Besides proximity to the arts is cleansing for the soul." Ms. Darbus pointed out. Confused Jack looked around and spotted Olivia next to Chad and Troy. "Can we have a talk, please?" he asked. "And you three, in the gym, now!" he said to Chad, Troy and Olivia. "Olivia is staying here. She's not in the basketball team, what besides, isn't an excuse either." Ms. Darbus explained. "Oh yes she is". Jack got impatient. "I'm what?" Olivia asked confused. Troy saved the situation with tearing Chad out of the tree. grabbing Olivia by the wrist and leading them outside. They made their way to the gym. They arrived at the gym and waited for Jack to finish his discussion with Ms. Darbus. As the coach entered the room Olivia immediately went to him. "Can I go now?" she asked - still expecting it was just an excuse to get her out of detention. "What - no!" Jack said. "Alright guys. Come here!" Everyone gathered around the coach. There were a few confused faced as they saw a girl in the gym. "So....there is a new rule for-for the teams." Jack began, not sure how to say it. "What is it?" Troy asked. "Um...well it's- you have...we have to- there has to be at least one girl in every basketball team." he announced straight after he had enough of stuttering and searching the right words. The team and Olivia looked at him with wide eyes. "What?" Someone asked. "How can we find a girl that plays basketball that fast?" the other asked. "The championship is only a few days away" another pointed out. There was chaos. Only Chad, Troy and Olivia sat there quiet because they knew the coaches plan. The coach whistle and everybody got quiet. "I already got us a girl. That's Olivia Bolton, our new team member." All gazes turned to Olivia who felt extremely uncomfortable. „Uh...well don't I have to agree to that first?" she asked quiet. "Oh come on Liv. You like playing basketball. So just shut up and join the team." Troy suddenly exclaimed. "Olivia, Olivia, Olivia, Olivia",  the boys cheered. They didn't stop till she said yes. That could get interesting, Olivia thought.

Jack's POV:

We began with the training and Olivia was great. I could see the impressed look on the boys faces. We had a great practice and before I closed it I needed to make a speech.

"West High Knights habe knocked us out of the play-offs three years running. And now we are one game away from taking that championship right back from 'em. It's time to make our stand. The team is you. You are the team. And this team does not exist unless each and every one of you is fully focused on our goal. Am I clear." I asked. As an answer Chad asked the team. "Hey, what team?" "Wildcats!" Everyone except Olivia shouted. "What team?" "Wildcats!" Olivia joined in. "What team?" "Wildcats!" "Wildcats!" "Get your head in the game!" They all laid their hands on the ball which I was holding. I couldn't be more proud.
