I remember that one time

When I came over to your house so we could watch our favorite movies.

But when I got there she opened the door.

And all she was wearing was a shirt

The shirt I bought you for your birthday

She said “ we’re busy.” and then she shut the door.

So I just stood there.

With my pajama pants on and a blanket under my arm.

And I sat on your steps
