Tommys POV
        We sat in the hallway, all together, anticipating our next move. Cory was talking to Uni, making sure we was okay, and Jon was whispering to, a now crying, Ashlie. "It's like, as soon as we lost Myst, everything spiraled out of control..." I heard Nick sigh to me. I nodded in agreement, "I guess leaving her alone was a MYSTake!" I joked, tying to lighten the mood. Nick glanced at me, smiling a bit, but sadness glinted in his chocolate gaze. "I guess so..." He said, looking down at the ground. I patted his shoulder softly, "We'll be fine, Nick." I said simply.

       Nick smiled at me, "If you say so..." He said quietly. "Awe, stop being so negative, cream-dip...It may DECREASE your awareness." I continued, making him chuckle. "Wow, you're full of it." He joked. I laughed, "You know it, brutha!" I exclaimed. "Hey, guys, sorry to break the mood...But I think we should keep moving...There's creatures everywhere around here..They may come this way." Uni said quietly, standing up. Nick and I stood up, followed by Dawn, Ashlie, and Jon. "So, where do we go now?" Nick asked. Cory shrugged, "We go where we want..."

      I sighed, "This is like having free-will in a prison full of guards who want you dead..." I complained. Some of the others chuckled, "I guess that's true." Uni agreed as we walked. Then, Jon, who was walking in the back of the group, paused. We all stopped aswell, looking back at him. "Jon? You okay?" Nick asked, and Jon looked around. "Did you guys hear that...?" He asked. We all glanced at each other, "No...? What did you hear?" Uni asked. Jon looked back at us warily, "Nevermind...Let's just forget it..." He said quietly.

        We began walking in our little group, almost everyone was silent. I say 'almost' because of Uni's consistent mumbling to himself. We heard a growl from up ahead, and everyone stopped, staring into the darkened hallway, and after a moment, a creature came limping from the darkness. "I got it." Cory said simply, walking forward, and kneeling the creature in the stomach, then stabbing it in the throat. Blood sprayed onto him, and I saw him smile slightly because of it as he yanked the knife out of it's throat, and the creature fell limp. Cory turned back to us, but he seemed confused. "Where's Jon?" He asked.

                       Jon's POV
      We were all watching Cory kill the creature again, when suddenly, I heard it again. Laughter. The same unfamiliar, mad laughter that I had heard so much walking down the hallway. I looked behind me, but froze as I saw a silhouette at the end of the hall that we had just came from. I immediantly bolted down the hallway after the silhouette. I watched at the silhouette casually turned down the hallway, and disappeared from sight. When I turned down the hallway, looking around the hallway quickly, I quickly became confused.

        Where are they...? They couldn't have gotten away THAT quickly... I thought, looking around. There was a strange smell in the air, almost like something unnatural. I heard the laugh again, but it was soon interrupted by a more familiar voice, "Jon!" I turned around, coming face-to- face with Ashlie, making me jump in surprise. She put her hands on my shoulders, seeming worried, "Why'd you run off?" She asked. I looked at the ground, "I...Saw something." I confessed. "I ran down here to find them, but now they're gone...I suspect they were the one that was laughing in the hallway." I said simply.

       She gave me a worried look, "Laughing....? Jon, are you feeling okay...?" She asked. I raised an eyebrow at her, "Yeah, I'm fi-" I began, but was cut off my my own coughing. Coughing? But I've been fine this whole time... I thought, wait....The smell! I realized. There must be something in the air over here! I panicked as I stopped coughing. I grabbed Ashlie, dragging her away from the area. When I stopped pulling her, Ashlie faced me, "Jon, are you okay?" She asked, and I nodded.

      Though, she still put her hand against my forehead, checking for a fever. "Well, you don't have a fever..." She murmured, then she sighed. "Let's just get back to the others..." She said, grabbing my arm and walking me back to the others. "There you are!" Uni exclaimed as we got back. "Hi.." I said, coughing right after. "Are you okay, Jon?" Dawn asked. I nodded, "Y-Yeah...Let's just keep going.." I croaked, and everyone hesitantly decided to keep going. I walked 8n the back of the group with Ashlie, but I stiffened as an unfamiliar voice hit my ears. "Have fun with you're little cough, Jonathon Jonathon..." They hissed, followed by the familiar laughter.

         Ashlie glanced at me, "You okay, Jon?" She asked. I nodded, "I'm fine..." I said simply, looking down at the ground, thinking about what I'd just heard. So someone did cause this... I thought bitterly.

                       Tommy's POV
        As we walked down the hallway, I got an uneasy feeling, like someone was watching us. I glanced around, but saw no one out of the ordinary, so I just shrugged it off. Then, Cory stopped walking, and we all stopped aswell. He was looking at one of the rooms. "Let's rest here for a little bit." He announced, and we'll all agreed. We walked into the room, careful not to let the door shut behind us. But even here, in this small room, I still felt the nagging feeling that someone was watching us...

                      Dr. Ross's POV
           I smirked as I walked down the halls of the Asylum, writing on my sketch pad. I wrote:
'The boy, Jon, has become subject to test 4 of my 'Cough Vapor' test. He inhaled just enough exactly 16 minutes ago, and he's already coughing. The plan is going nicely. I'll be toying with his mind, because now none of his friends will think he's really seeing me.' I looked up from my paper, laughing eviliy. "All The pieces are falling into place....." I laughed.
