Jon's POV
       "Okay, this is where your training begins." Myst explained, walking back and forth in front of us. We were all standing in a line, Cory was at the begining of the line, and next to him was Uni, then it went Tommy, Nick, me, and Ashlie. "For the next few days, I'll be showing you how to survive this situation." Myst explained. "Who made you the zombie expert?" Tommy questioned. Myst looked at him through narrowed eyes, "I'm no 'zombie expert', but I am pretty good at surviving." She answered, and Tommy huffed.

      "What are you gonna teach us?" Nick questioned curiously. "Basic fighting, and how to use melee weapons. I also may teach you the best places to find food and water, if I have the time, that is." She added the last part more quietly. "What time don't you have? Literally all we have is time." Cory questioned. Myst looked away, "You never know when things could go wrong." She explained, leaving everyone in a quiet, nervous confusion. "Anyways...I'm going to show you the first move now...." She said, trying to break the awkward silence. Everyone nodded, curious to learn, but I noticed Uni shifting uncomfortably.

     "Okay, First I'll be showing you how to do what I call an 'Upward Kick'. It won't kill anything, but it will knock them off balance, allowing you to easily end their lives." Myst explained. "How do you do it?" Cory asked eagerly. Myst smiled a bit, "Excited I see, that's good." She commented, then turned around. She glanced back at us, "Follow." She said simply, walking towards the door. "Where are we going?" I questioned. "You'll see." She answered quickly. She opened the door, peeking out quietly and looked around. "Okay, let's go, and be quietly, we don't want to attract anything..." She whispered to us as she led us out of the room.

     We followed her for a few moments before arriving at our destination. It was a small room, the door was cracked slightly, signifying that whoever WAS in the room, was now gone. She slowly opened the door looking around cautiously. The room had short, padded, white walls. There was no blood on the walls, so no one had died in the room by the looks of it. "Why exactly are we in solitary confinement?" Ashlie questioned. Myst glanced back at her.

      She walked over to a wall and punched it, before looking back at Ashlie. "Because the walls are padded. Would you rather kick a cement wall, or a padded wall?" She questioned. Ashlie looked down In embarrassment, "The padded wall..." She muttered. I put my hand softly on her shoulder, "Don't worry, Atlie, I was confused, too." I said with a smile. She glanced at me, "Atlie?" She questioned with a giggle. I smiled a bit, shrugging, "I thought it was cute...I'll stop if you-" I began, but she cut me off, "No, no, it is cute, JonJon..." She teased. I smiled at her, then we both seemed to realise that everyone was watching us.

      I blushed a bit, "Well, if you two are done being cute over there, then we can actually start training." Cory said bitterly. "Well SORRY I wasn't made to please you!" Ashlie snapped back, returning his sharp tone. Cory rolled his eye, "Whatever." He hissed.
"Okay, if you guys are ready, I'll show you how to do an Upward kick." Myst explained. "We're ready, I guess..." Uni said quietly. "Good, now watch closely." She ordered. She walked over and stood across from the wall infront of her, she took a deep breath, then she struck.

     She pushed off of the ground roughly, her knee outstretched strongly. She kneed the wall with a great, painful seeming force. She then landed on her feet with a pant. She looked back at us, "Who wants to try first?" She questioned, and Cory stepped forward immediantly. "I will." He announced, walking towards the wall. Myst moved out of the way, watching Cory intently. Cory stared at the wall, then he lunged forward, copying what Myst had done. He did it nearly perfectly, except he stumbled a bit when he landed.

      Must smiled, "Very good, Cory! But you must work on your landing, in the case that your victim recovers faster than you." She explained. Cory nodded, moving back to his spot next to Uni, who high-fived him. Myst looked back at us expectently, "Next?" She said questioningly. Nick stepped forward hesitantly, "Wooo!!! Go Nick!" Tommy cheered, making a few of us laugh. Nick smiled back at him, before stepping up to where Cory had stood. He stared at the wall, then he lunged forward. His knee hit a little lower on the wall, but his landing was a bit better then Cory's.

       Myst nodded proudly at him, and he returned to his spot. "Nice going, Nick!" Tommy exclaimed, and Nick chuckled. He grabbed Tommy and pushed him forward, making him stumble. "Your turn!" Nick announced playfully. Tommy huffed, "Not cool, Nick. Not cool!" He announced, walking up to the wall. He bolted forward, his knee hitting the wall, but the shock of the blow made him stumble back, and he fell onto his backside in suprise. I heard giggles escape a few from our group, including a few giggles from Myst. Nick chuckled, giving Tommy two thumbs up, "Nice job, dude!"

    Tommy glared at Nick as he stood up, dusting himself off. "Well, we can't ALL be as good a Nicholas Shatski." Tommy said jokingly. "I'll go next!" Ashlie announced, stepping forward. "You'll do great!" I cheered encouragely. Ashlie looked back at me, determination burning in her gaze, and a smile in her face. "I know." She said simply, making me laugh. She walked up to the wall, staring at it. She then leaped forward, nailing the kick perfectly, and landing quite well. She was smiling excitedly, "Go Atlie!!!" I said, whistling and clapping. Ashlie giggled, walking beside me and pushing me playfully. "Oh hush, I wasn't that good..." She said in a playful manner.

     "You're right, you weren't good...You were great! Nice work, Ash!" Nick complimented. Ashlie smiled at him, and I stepped forward. "My turn!" I announced, walking to the wall. I stared at it, "You can do it, Jon!" Ashlie and Nick cheered. I glanced at them, then looked back at the wall, I took in a deep breath, calming my nerves. I then leaped at the wall, but instead of the wall absorbing the shock, my leg took it instead, sending me flying back, landing on my back, much like Tommy. I huffed, sitting up. "That was sick, brutha!" Tommy announced as I stood up. "Yeah, Jon, you'll get better!" Ashlie said, patting my head playfully.

     "You're up, Uni!" Cory announced, shoving the blue-haired boy forward. Uni seemed nervous, "B-but, I don't want to hurt anything..." Uni stuttered. Myst gave him a hard stare, "Look, Uni, I understand your concern, but we are in a life or death situation, and You're gonna have to fight for survival." She explained, and Uni sighed sadly. "Very well..." He murmured, stepping forward. He looked at the wall, then jumped at it, kneeling it lightly, and landing roughly. "Oh came on, Uni, is that all you've got? That type of force couldn't knick a two-legged giraffe off balance!" Myst exclaimed. Uni looked at the wall sadly, before kneeling it again, but this time a bit harder. "Harder!" Myst ordered, and Uni glanced at her. He shut his eyes for a moment, clenching his teeth. He opened his eyes a moment later, the lightest bit of darkness consuming his eyes. He kept at the wall, kneeing it with rough force, and landing strongly. "There we go..." Uni muttered, his voice having a darker tone to it. "That's it!" Myst exclaimed happily. "Now, let's learn some more stuff." She said with a smile.

A/N I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I haven't updated in awhile, because I've been with my family, and I'm still with my cousins, but It's 1:30 in the morning, and everyone is asleep, so I decided to take this time to write!
