I walked towards the announcer with a dash of anxiety that's always their coursing through my every blood cell.

After all that was what kept me on the edge all the time knowing what's going on or what could possibly happen.

As I met the announcers after pushing up the stairs with shaky legs and fear consuming me and ripping its claws through my chest.

"What is your name miss?"

he asked and for once I didn't know what to say and then I very lightly said

"Its Samantha sir." With a small smile on my face and slight curtsey he announced my name.

I as elegantly attempted to go down the stairs right when I was at the last I almost fell but an arm gripped my waist.

It was Ricardo and I had a crush on him when I was little for some reason he looks nice but I can't even get taken away by his dazzling smile.

He slowly takes me around the ballroom not starting conversation just yet.

"Why don't you just agree with our parent's decision and pick between me and Derrek to spend the rest of your life with?"

I shake my head ignoring him and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri starts to play so I take him to the dance floor and start swaying with him.

Once we do that and he makes a cheesy joke to make me laugh I go to the restroom.

When I get out of the restroom all I saw were the girls having fun.

Then I start moving around and see all three boys kissing some different girls.

At that moment I realized that I should stay like snow beautiful but cold to the touch.

When I saw all that I went to the hallway and called for my cousin to come get me thankfully she came and got me fast.

I sat in the car crying went to her house took off the dress started to pull all the accessories and hair ties out of my hair.

I took off my makeup put on a big t-shirt and threw my hair in a bun then cried myself to sleep on her bed.

That was the end of Cinderella which I knew was too good to be true for one night.
