The two were walking towards campfire with the rest of their group when he took her hand and lead her somewhere no one else would find them. 

He grabbed her hand and led her towards a place in the woods where there was a little pond and flowers. The moon was full and bright in the starry sky full of mystery and wonder.

Veronica pushed some of her hair behind her hair and it felt like someone pushed her towards him. Then out of nowhere fireflies start flying around illuminating the distance and she turns towards him.

He has some wild flowers in his hand and was looking down at his feet as if he was about to give the biggest secret ever known to man. He came towards her put the flowers up towards her and said.

"I know that we have known each other for only two weeks but, would you please consider courting me?" 

Shock consumed her and she wasn't sure what to think about it. Then she walked towards him and grabbed his arms to pull him up. Then when he stood up and came close to her said.

"Shut up and kiss me Alec."

They kissed each other and knew that they made the right choice. Then they snuck into the back of camp fire being undetected holding hands the whole time. The next morning when it was time to go he gave her a note. 

"Don't forget about me my little sugar plum."

And hugged her then left for his car. She held in her tears and said okay then went to her car and called him instantly knowing she would never forget him.
