Arin shuts the Wii off in frustration as I beat him in Smash Bros for the hundredth time. "God. This has been the worst day of my life. My sister has beaten me at Smash Bros when I'M THE GAMER."

   Dan shakes his head. "You getting beat wasn't a very epic gamer moment, Arin."

   "Don't rub it in, dude," Arin says sadly, sitting back down next to me.

I pat Arin's head. "Hey. Does someone need some ramen?"

Arin looks at me with a smile. "You know me so well, sis," he says, hugging me briefly.

Dan smiles. "Aww. Big Cat, I'll make you your ramen. I wouldn't want (Y/N) making your ramen to get in the way of this sibling moment." He stands up and gives us one last smile before leaving to make said ramen.

As soon as Dan's gone, I turn to Arin and say with a raised eyebrow, "'Big Cat'? Is that, like, his pet name for you or something?"

Arin laughs. "Yep. Whenever I need emotional support, Dan calls me that."

"Aww," I say with a laugh. "You guys seem really close."

Arin nods. "We are. We're like brothers."

I hold up a finger. "Wait. Lemme guess. The internet has a ship name for you two, doesn't it?"

Arin laughs and nods. "Yep. It's 'Egobang'. Since my pseudonym is 'egoraptor' and Dan's stage name is 'Danny Sexbang'."

I snort. "'Danny Sexbang?'" I question. What a ridiculous name.

Dan pokes his head out from the kitchen. "Did someone call me?"

I smirk. "No. But Arin was just telling me of your stage name, Mr. Sexbang."

Dan smirks. "Cool name, right? I am the sexiest of bangs, after all." He flips his hair to the side.

His hair is so beautiful. Daveed Diggs wishes he could have such amazing hair.

I roll my eyes. "That you are, my friend." I tense up. Why did I just say that? I mean, it's the truth, but since when do I have to speak the truth? Especially if it means everyone's gonna feel awkward.

Instead of being weirded out, Dan smiles, his face turning red. "I knew you'd agree with me. You're the best, (Y/N)."

He then disappears into the kitchen once more.

Arin smirks at me, giggling to himself. "You're head over heels, aren't you~?"

I push Arin playfully. "Oh, hush. I regret even telling you about my feelings for Dan."

Arin wraps an arm around me. "Well, I'm glad you did, sis. Once all the Grumps here about this, it'll be the hottest gossip."

"Wait, there are other Grumps besides you and Dan?" I ask.

"Yep. A lot more. And they're gonna find out all about your guys' liking toward one another."

I groan.

That's when I hear the sound of a key being turned into the key hole of the front door. I look up, curious on who's entering Arin's house. My brother looks up too.

A woman is entering the house. I've never seen her, but all in all, she's pretty. She has long, black hair with a blond streak in it, fair skin, and piercing eyes. She looks at Arin and smiles. "Hey, honey." She looks at me, then back at Arin. "Who's your friend?"

Arin smiles at the woman and says, "This isn't my friend, Suzy. This is my sister, (Y/N)." He grabs my hand and stands up, pulling me to my feet.

Suzy...the name sounds so familiar, but I can't figure out why...

The woman called Suzy gives me a warm smile. "Oh! (Y/N)! Arin has told me so much about you! I'm Suzy Berhow, Arin's wife!" She extends her hand.

Oh! That's why her name sounded familiar! She's Arin's wife! Arin told me about her, but I never met her before until now, since I wasn't able to make it to the wedding.

   My face lights up as I shake Suzy's hand. "Oh, I've heard a lot about you too, Suzy! It's vey nice to meet you!"

   "Likewise!" Suzy replies as we let go of hands.

   Then Dan walks into the room with a bowl of steaming ramen in his hands. The fork that's also in the bowl taps against it, making a jangling sound. "Here ya go, Big Cat," he says as he hands Arin the bowl of ramen. "Nothing like a hot bowl of ramen to make a man feel better." He then notices that Suzy's here and gives a friendly wave. "Oh, hey, Suze."

   Suzy returns the wave and smile.

   Arin's already sitting down and digging into his ramen. I can tell he's savoring it more than normal people do.

   A semi-awkward silence fills the room. It's only broken by the occasional slurping sound, indicating that Arin's shoveled another forkful of ramen into his mouth.

   Once Arin's done with his ramen, he sets his bowl aside and grabs Suzy's hand, pulling her into another room.

   Wondering what Arin has to tell Suzy, I awkwardly look at the floor, knowing that it's just me and Dan.

"So..," Dan begins awkwardly, "what's your favorite color..?"

"(Favorite color)," I answer shyly, finally managing to look Dan in the eye.

Dan smiles sweetly. "Nice! Mine is blue." (Or is your favorite color is blue too, then pretend he said "me too".)

Awkward silence coats the room. I look everywhere but at Dan's eyes.

Then, the silence is broken by Suzy. "WHAT?!" she screams from the room Arin and her are conversing in.

   I hear Arin laugh.

   "Huh. I wonder what they're talking about..," Dan states, sitting down next to me.

   "Probably about us," I mumble truthfully, looking away.

   Dan thinks for a minute. Then he nods. "Yeah. Probably."

   That's when Arin and Suzy come strolling back in, smug smiles on their faces. "Well, well, well," Suzy smirks. "(Y/N) and Danny. Liking each other during the first day of meeting."

    Suzy takes a seat next to me, and Arin takes a seat next to Dan.

   Both Dan and I go red. "Suzy—" Dan starts, but the one and only Suzy interrupts.

   "I can see you guys making a cute couple!" She says with a sly smile.

   "Thanks..?" I say hesitantly.

   Suzy smirks then whispers something to Arin. Arin gasps and nods enthusiastically.

   I have no idea what they're planning, but whatever it is, it's not gonna be a good time for me.

   "Let's watch a movie!" Arin suggests, jumping to his feet excitedly.

   "Okay..," Dan and I say at the same time.

   "What do you guys wanna watch?" Arin asks.

   "'The Last Unicorn'!" Dan immediately suggests, his eyes lighting up.

   I roll my eyes. "NO."

   "What about 'Hocus Pocus'?" Suzy asks.

   "Bleh," Arin says.

   "How about 'Boss Baby'?" I ask, being the adult child that I am.

   Everyone looks at each other, silently asking if they're okay with that. They all nod to each other.

   Arin looks at me and smiles. "Good idea, sis. Suzy and I will make some popcorn, and we'll leave you and Dan to...uh...chat."

   He winks, grabbing his wife's hand and dragging her to the kitchen.

   Dan rolls his eyes, chuckling to himself. "They're both so obnoxious..."

   I nod. "Tell me about it."

   I then hear Arin say something about a plan. Dan looks like he's about to say something, so I quietly shush him. I walk closer to the kitchen and motion Dan to follow me.

   He does. What a beansprout.

"Do you really think it'll work?" Arin asks.

Suzy laughs evilly. "Yeah! You've told me that your sister is an anxious person, and Dan is...well...Dan."

"Very true," Arin says, and I can hear the smile in his voice. I then begin to her popping, indicating that the microwave's doing its magic.

"So what stunt are we gonna pull first?" Suzy asks.

"Maybe we'll push (Y/N) on top of Dan and wait for them to get flustered!" Arin suggests. A bit redundant, Arin, but okay.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Dan blush. His lips form a thin line as he shakes his head to himself.

   "Good idea!" Suzy says. "I can't wait to see the awkward tension that's about to start building!"

   "I love you, Suzy," Arin says.

   "I love you too, Arin," Suzy states.

   I pretend to gag loudly, breaking my and Dan's cover. Dan laughs and joins me in the gagging. We poke our heads around the corner and gag more, staring at Suzy and Arin, who are hugging.

   Arin rolls his eyes, letting go of his wife. "Oh, screw off, you two. We all know that you guys will be doing that soon." Somehow he doesn't suspect that we were listening the whole time.

   "Yeah!" Suzy adds, smirking at us.

   I roll my eyes right back. "Just give me my dang popcorn."

   Arin nods and pours the popcorn into a giant bowl that he already had out. He hands it to me. "Set this on the table and set up the movie. Suzy and I will be right out. We just have to talk about something."

   I nod, taking the popcorn bowl to the living room's coffee table and setting it down. I quickly set up the movie, and as soon as I'm done with that, I turn to Dan and whisper, "Okay, at least we know what they're gonna attempt to do. Just don't give them the satisfaction by acting flustered during one of our awkward situations."

   Dan nods, flashing me a thumbs up. My eyes fall on his thumb. Wow. It's weird. But I can't worry about that now.

   Suzy and Arin walk back into the room, right on cue. "All right. Let's start the movie!"

   I nod before briefly looking at Dan, a reminder of our plan: Don't act flustered.

   He nods at me and gives a small smile.

   Our movie night is officially starting!
