Chapter 1 - UpUpDownDown

"Let's see that women's championship!"

Austin Creed, or Xavier Woods as he calls himself on Raw, is about to record another gaming episode for his YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown. This time there's a crowd in the room, waiting for a heated ping pong feud to take place between Rusev and Miz, which is honestly something I never thought I'd see. I pretty much strolled in a minute ago with my newly won women's championship flung across my shoulder, the freshly changed side plates now displaying my LEGIT BOSS logo. It feels pretty good. I decide to humour Xavier's request and hold the championship above my head, twirling around and dancing whilst the group of people cheer and whoop.

"Whoa gurl," says Naomi, staring up my championship. "Lemme see that thang." I pass the championship belt into her hands and watch her run her fingers across the massive W on the front. "So smooth," she comments. I know that Naomi is more than deserving of a championship right now, and I believe that the recent brand split means that she can soon get her hands on that Smackdown Women's title. Perhaps after Becky Lynch is done with it.

I lean against a table in between Bayley and my husband Mikaze, whom Naomi has passed the belt onto. I can tell by his face that he is really proud of how far I've come, but just for clarification, he says it anyway, and plants a kiss on my cheek to follow. There's a round of applause from the group and that's when Rusev finally walks in, ready to start. Xavier turns on the camera.
"Welcome to UpUpDownDown!" yells Xavier, to which we all contribute another round of applause. "We've got our boy Rusev, or as he would like to be called, TONG PO!" This is incredibly random of Rusev, but it's also pretty funny. "And today, Tong Po will be taking on The Miz!" Miz enters dramatically into the camera's view and this makes the group laugh hard, until Woods decides to cut us off and start the match.

And so they're at it. It's funny watching Rusev do anything apart from being a Bulgarian heel. He is actually, genuinely a pretty funny guy. As is The Miz. In fact, these guys; they're all pretty much family.
Mikaze enjoys joining the boys for UpUpDownDown, and I'm glad that they get along so well. It just makes it more fun for me to be there, hanging out with my friends and my husband. And my women's championship, of course. It's like nothing else could go wrong.

Naomi, The Usos and Tyler Breeze are cheering on Miz in one corner whilst Rusev has the whole Raw family backing him up; that would include me, The New Day, Cesaro and Bayley. Mikaze is sort of in the middle somewhere, since he's unbiased when it comes to the brands, even if his wife is on Raw.
As another rally comes to a close, Bayley wraps her arm around my back and leans her head in my shoulder, sighing to herself. After a moment of staring down at the belt, she uses her other hand to feel it, running her hand from one side plate to the other. She follows this with a slight giggle.
"I'm glad it's you, Sasha. I'm glad that you and Charlotte are leading the women's division." She pauses to think. "Now there simply have to be more opportunities for NXT women."
Bayley is incredible. It's taken me and Charlotte a year on the main brands to get this much buzz and our respective title shots. Bayley, however, is like the most popular woman in NXT, and I know that when she makes her main roster debut, fans are going to be head over heels for her. I mean, come on, the whole 'I'm a hugger' thing is genius. Why didn't I think of that?
I know Bayley is desperate to get her hands on this championship, and whilst competition is competition, I still can't help but badly want her to achieve that.

"What am I missing?" The group looks to the door as another addition to the Raw family walks in. It's Seth Rollins, and he's carrying a tray full of drinks. Orange Squash, it looks like. Breeze groans upon the fact that the Raw family are increasing in number, whilst Rollins' entrance has sent The New Day into another outburst of song and dance. I think the Usos just want some Orange Squash.

Seth goes round person to person, handing out drinks, but I barely even notice this until he approaches me. Just as he does, Rusev scores another point and I fling my arms in the air, almost knocking Seth and the tray over completely. I only, however, get away with knocking over one cup, which has leaked over the side of the tray and created a little wet patch on the cream coloured carpet. Seth shakes his head and hands me another cup of squash.
"Careful with that," he says. "Wouldn't want it all over the Legit Boss merch."
I mumble a quick apology and luckily he moves along before my face turns completely red. I hide behind my hair for a second and look down at my Legit Boss t-shirt, a mini me with an oversized head and sunglasses, all dolled up in bling. Sometimes I don't feel like such a Legit Boss.

After Miz scores a point, the Raw family's 'boos' overpower the cheers of the Smackdown guys, but then everyone is united in laughter again when Miz sticks his hand in the air and does that famous line of his, 'When my hand goes up, your mouth goes shut!' Now my focus is back to the game. I believe they're both drawing on 6-6, and right now, it's unpredictable who the first will be to make it to 11. I take a sip of my orange squash whilst my eyes move quickly with the ball. The room is completely silent apart from the bouncing of the ball, accompanied by the grunts of Miz and Rusev as they play. The rally has been going on for so long I'm starting to get a headache.

"Pssst, Sasha." By the time I have turned around, the rally has been broken and I'm guessing by the overpowering cheers that it's Rusev who has scored. Seth is staring straight at me though. "Can I see the belt?"
I smile, taking the belt off my lap and passing it over the table to Seth, who smiles back as he looks at it. 'Whoa.' Like Naomi, he runs his hand across the W on the front, then moves onto the side plate on the right, using his nails to trace the golden sunglasses. He honestly looks like a child. Since the ping pong game has now turned out into an all out war-of-words between the Raw and Smackdown guys, I move over to where Seth is standing, his eyes still on the championship.
"Why are you so fascinated?" I ask him, not needing to whisper because everyone else is already shouting across the room. "You've seen a belt before; heck, you've even won them loads."
He snorts. "Not loads," he says, looking up at me for a second, and then looking back down at the belt. "I don't get to see the women's championship much. And this is the first time I've seen it with your side plates on." This makes me blush a little.
"So, what do you think of it then?"
"Well," he begins, nodding his head and momentarily biting his lip. "It's definitely better than the divas championship."
This makes me snort with laughter. "Well, of course it's better! Mostly because that hideous pink butterfly is gone."
"Hey!" he laughs, looking up at me. "I actually liked that butterfly."
"Well, now I know you're bullshitting." I take the championship from his hands and move over to the radiator next to him, shifting my eyes to the game once more. I want to follow what's happening but I can't stop looking down at my championship and smiling to myself, thinking about how incredible it is, and how far I've come to get it. I think Seth notices this.
"Hey," I hear his voice say from beside me. "Well done. That match was brutal."
Still looking down at my belt, I smile and nod.
