Kirishima:

Bakugou: (ignore the Nike symbol or don't if you don't wanna)

[Kirishima's POV]

'Do I look okay? Where is my chain? WHERE IS MY CHAIN?' I ran around my room, searching for my long, thin chain Bakugou got me for my birthday. He remembered I broke my last one and I couldn't find anywhere that sold one. He bought one for me and gave it to me as a gift. I was touched that he remembered.

'It's right here, calm down bro!' Kaminari said, chucking it at me. I grabbed it and attached it to my jeans.

'You nervous?' Sero asked, throwing my black Docs at me.I had black pants on and a red striped shirt on which tucked in pretty nicely. I had a few of my necklaces on which matched my chain. I thought I looked pretty good, I've usually got good style. Sero and Kaminari were just there to make sure I didn't freak out or go over the top. I was grateful for their presence but they weren't doing a good job making sure I didn't flip.

'Hell yeah I am! I've been in love with this guy for what...8 months? He finally asks me out but I have no clue what I'm gonna do, or say, or act. What if I mess up? What if he realizes he doesn't like me? What if we aren't friends anymore?' My breathing was quick and couldn't calm down. Kaminari came over to me and placed both hands on my shoulders.

'Kiri. Listen to me. Take some nice deep breaths. You look amazing. If I didn't have two boyfriends and if Bakugou didn't exist we'd probably fuck.' He chuckled and sighed. 'This date is going to be amazing. Be your happy, sunshine self! He wouldn't have asked you out if he didn't like you!' Those words made me think. He's right. It's going to be fine!

[Bakugou's POV]

'This is going to be awful!' I said, throwing my shoe across the room.

'Calm down Bakuhoe.' Mina sighed, picking it up. 'It's just a knot in the laces.'

'What if it's a sign from the universe saying I shouldn't do this!' I flopped down on my bed.

'No, it's a sign saying you should untie your shoelaces, move your ass and take Kiri out on a nice date.' She told me, throwing back my shoe.

'I guess.' I slipped on my shoe. 'So, how do I look?' I stood up and threw my arms out. Mina had helped me pick out an outfit. It wasn't orange or red but a green hoodie and some cuffed light-blue jeans I didn't know I had. She gave me these weird socks but I just wore what she said. She squealed, jumping up and down a bit so I guess it wasn't awful.

'Right, I need to go.' I told her, walking towards my door.

'I wanna see the look on your face when you see him! I bet he looks hot.' Mina said, walking out with me. At the same time, Kirishima walked out of his room, talking to Sticky Boi and Bolt. He looked amazing... I know he picked it himself because the other two have zero style. He put his hands in his pockets and ran one though his hair which was down and tied back.

'Wow...' I mumbled. I scratched the back of my neck and walked over to him.

'Hey!' He smiled brightly which made me smile.

'Aww, Bakugou! You love him!'

'Shut up Shitty Zeus.' I scowled at him before grabbing Kirishima's hand and walking to the elevator. I pressed the button for the ground floor and turned back to see our friends waving and smiling.

'Where are going?' Kirishima asked, smiling still.

'Surprise.' I said, smirking at him.

'But I'll find out eventually so why not just tell me now?'

'Well then, call it delayed information.' I said as the doors opened. I walked out, still holding his hand and we left, waving at the Dekusquad as we passed by. We walked for a while before we got to the park. We walked around, hand in hand, since not that many people were out. We got special permission from Aizawa. 'Cause we're special.

'Ooh, I've never been 'round here before.I usually go the other way on my runs.' Kirishima said. It was a small path which led to a different section of the park. We passed through it, talking still and got to a wide field with a bike trail, kiddies park and ice cream van.

'I pulled him towards the van and let him order what he wanted.

'Oh! A vanilla cone with raspberry sauce and rainbow sprinkles!' He said, smiling like a little child.'

'And for you, sir?' The girl running it said.

'Plain vanilla cup.' I said, handing over the cash.

'Coming up!' She said, turning around and making them.

'Thanks!' Kirishima beamed as he handed him the cone.

'Thanks, I mumbled as she passed me the cup of ice cream.

Kirishima and I walked away, unable to hold hands because I had to use a spoon to eat mine. As we walked, I looked over at him, happily devouring the sweet treat.

'If you get ice cream on your hand I'm not gonna hold it.' I smiled.

'Why!' He said since his hand was pretty sticky already.

'I don't want my hand to get sticky!' I got some ice cream on my spoon and swiped it on his nose.

'Hey!' He exclaimed, looking at me shocked.

'I'll get it off.' I said, putting the paper cup in the trash then coming up to him. I pretended to wipe it off with my sleeve but then I licked his nose.

'Now my nose is gonna be sticky!' He turned to me. 'You're going to hold my hand now.' He started chasing after me. I ran, laughing the whole time. He followed me down a trail which came out to a beach I knew.

'Woah!' He gasped as he saw the sun a bit over the water.

'Cool, right?' I said.

'It's gorgeous!' Kirishima yelled, running forwards down the beach, spinning around and kicking sand about. He looked like he was having the time of his life.

'Come on Bakugou!' He yelled from down the beach.

'I'm not getting sand in my converse!' I yelled back.

'Take em off then! LET'S GO IN THE SEA!' He threw off his docs, placing them on the sand. Bakugou sighed, knowing he wouldn't get out of this. He took off his shoes and socks. Running to Kirishima and putting his shoes next to him. I rolled up my jeans as I watched Kirishima splash about in the water.

'Hurry up!' Kirishima called, laughing.

'Calm down!' I said, jumping up and running into the water with Kirishima. We splashed around before Kirishima accidently hit me with some water.

'Ah! I'm so sorry!' Kirishima said, trying hard not to laugh.

'I'm so gonna get you!' I said, smirk clear as day on my face.

They chased each other for a while, splashing each other. I pushed Kirishima, making him fall over into the water, but not before pulling me down with him. We were laughing hard by the end of it.

'Sun's setting...' Kirishima whispered to me. I pulled him up out of the water and held his hand as we walked back to our shoes, picking them up and walking back to the water. We stayed just off the edge of the ocean, the water lapping over our bare feet as we spoke of nothing and everything all at once.

'Hey Bakugou?' Kirishima said as our last topic ended.

'Yeah Kiri?' I looked over at the red-haired boy.

'What took so long?' Kirishima smiled at me.

'For this? I dunno.' I mumbled, brushing off the question. The truth is I did know. I was scared of rejection, heartbreak, embarrassment. But I decided to man up and get over myself. Sure, I wanted to be number one hero but shouldn't things I want more come first? Kiri knew the 'risks' of dating me. My flaws. He knew I was short-tempered and easily pissed off. I was explosive -inside and out- and rude. I wasn't usually affectionate and I didn't really think of other people's feelings. He knew all of that yet still agreed. Because he brought out the best in me. He made me want to be better.

'It's nice. I'm glad you asked me out.' He said, looking back over at the sunset. We stopped all together and just looked at how the sun was slowly being pushed back by the dark night sky.

'I am too.' I stared at the beauty in front of me. The way he smiled at the view ahead and how it reflected off his gorgeous eyes. He looked happy. I wanted to be the one who made him happy.
