No One’s Point Of View

After last night’s celebration, people were off. They got into their usual groups and head off to do jobs or train. The guild seemed empty even though some people remained. Lucy was outside training. She had a sword in her hand defending off attacks that Kelly threw at her. Lucy left her right side open while she was blocking an attack on her left. Kelly used the end of her staff and hit Lucy hard. Lucy stumbled backward. Kelly kicked Lucy's feet from underneath her. Lucy landed on her butt and before she could get up Kelly put the staff to Lucy’s neck.

“You keep leaving your side open when you block an attack. When using a one-hand sword you have to be ready to use your other arm to block an attack if it comes.” Kelly said.

“I know.”

“Alright let's switch to a different style. Double swords, it's up to you if you want facing up or down.” 

“Facing back or forward?” Lucy asked.

“Back.” Lucy stood up and summoned her two swords. She had the blades facing the ground and got in position. Not too far from them was Natsu, Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Juvia holding Storm. They were watching her train. They could see the way she moved to dodge or block the attacks. It was like she was programmed to do it. She wasn’t wearing her cloak so they could see the little movements she made. Erza was surprised by the movements that she made. Erza only saw one person do that and they were one of the wizard saints. Lucy dodged an attack that was coming to her left side. Kelly went to hit her right side and Lucy used her chance to kick Kelly’s legs from underneath her. Kelly laid flat on her back as Lucy put her blade to her chest. Both of them were breathing heavily. Lucy moved her blade away and helped Kelly up. Kelly saw the group over Lucy’s shoulder and smiled.

“It looks like we have company,” Kelly said. Lucy looked over her shoulder and smiled. The four of them walked over to the two. 

“It is officially nice to meet the court of Lady Guardian's other half,” Kelly said and bowed.

“Court?” Juvia questioned.

“Oh, sorry. From what I heard you call each other friends.” Everyone finally understood what she meant.

“It looks like Lucy needs a break so I’m willing to train one of you.”

“I do not need a break,” Lucy said and sat down on the ground.

“Shut it,” Kelly said and Lucy kept her mouth shut.

“Well, what are we waiting for,” Erza said, stepping forward. Kelly smiled before putting her hand out. They shook hands before taking steps back. Everyone else made out of the way and watched from the sidelines.

“Before we start, what type of magic do you use?”

“Requip magic,” Erza said as she summoned her sword.

“For now let me see where you are at with your sword style then we go from there.” Erza nodded and got in a stance. They both charged at each other and their swords met each other in the middle. Erza looked like she was struggling to keep her sword up. She used the strength she gathered and pushed back hard making Kelly’s sword go towards her own face. Before she could have time to react after dodging her sword Erza went for her side. Kelly was knocked back a few feet and a little blood was coming out of her side. Kelly ran at Erza, she went to hit her in her side but quickly turned and went for her legs. Erza didn’t have time to react and fell to her knees. Kelly put her sword to Erza’s neck. Both of them were breathing heavily. Kelly moved her sword away and helped Erza up.

“You did well. You are the best I've met in this time period. The only thing you need to work on is your reaction time. Since you are going against Misty, you have to make unpredictable movements to like tricks or react to something she does in the opposite way. Anyways who’s up next?” Gray walked up.

“Let's do this.” He said and got ready.

“Magic?”

“Ice-Make.”

“He’s going against Daxx,” Lucy shouted from where she sat. Kelly nodded and got ready. She put her sword away and got into stance.

“Ice-Make: Floor,” Gray said, putting his hand to the ground causing it to turn into ice. Kelly ran up Gray and tried to punch him in the face but using the ice floor he slid away. 

“Ice-Make: Ice Geyser.” Spikes went shooting up to Kelly but she jumped back dodging them. She glided across the floor unable to stop. She was a disadvantage from the floor being ice.

“Ice-Make: Hammer.” A hammer formed above Kelly and started to fall. Kelly dodged the attack but the impact caused her to go flying back. The ice cracked from where the hammer used to lay. Gray used his chance and struck her. She went flying back again. She used her hand to stop her from going any further back. 

“Alright, that’s enough,” Kelly said as she stood up. 

“You surprised me, you used your magic to attack which resulted in me dodging and in doing so had left me opened. You were watching my movements, weren’t you? Anyways doing what you did to me is good. It will really help you defect Daxx. His magic that we so far know is that he can disappear and lock on to a target which is why he’s good at what he does. Now, let's continue, who’s next?”

“Natsu you’re up,” Erza said and pushed Natsu forward. Natsu nearly fell from how much force was used. As Gray passed by Natsu, he said,

“I bet I do better than you.” 

“Oh, yea? Let's see.” Natsu said with a smirk. Both stood at the end of the field.

“Magic?” She questioned as usual.

“Fire Dragon Slayer,” Natsu said and got instance. He was fired up.

“He’s going against Nap,” Lucy shouted once more. Kelly's outfit changed into a black sports bra and shorts, her feet left bare. She ran up to Natsu and was going to roundhouse kick Natsu. Natsu put his left arm up blocking the attack and used his right hand.

“Fire Dragon’s Iron Fist.” He aimed for her stomach but she jumped back, dodging.

“The Vines of the undoing, come and help me.” Kelly chants. Green vines came up from the ground and wrapped around Natsu’s ankles. Natsu was about to burn off the vines using his hands but more came up and wrapped around his wrist. When Natsu was able to burn the vines off he didn’t notice that Kelly came up. She kicked him back. He only moved a couple of feet. He had this grin on his face and a sparkle in his eye. He waited for Kelly to come at him again and when she was close enough he did his Fire Dragon’s Roar.

“Fire Dragon’s Roar.” He hit her right on the spot but still continued forward. She punched Natsu square in the jaw, flinging his head to the side. Natsu’s whole body went up in flames and you could see sparks of lightning in the flames. 

“Lightning Fire Dragon’s Firing Hammer.” The flames disappeared but stayed on his fist and forearm. He aimed for her stomach but she dodged it. 

“Fire Dragon’s Claw.” Natsu feet lit in flames and he kicked Kelly in the chests, surprising her and making her go flying back. She stood back up and whipped away the blood from the corner of her mouth.

“May my body become one with the celestial realm and win the battle ahead.” Whispered quietly, no one else heard except Natsu and Wendy. Kelly’s body glowed gold before disappearing. The air around them shifted, you could feel that there was more magic around than before. Kelly used her strength and pushed off the ground and went flying towards Natsu. where she once stood laid a cracked ground. She went to punch Natsu once again but Natsu put his hand up and caught it. Kelly then used her foot and pushed the back of Natsu’s knees, knocking him to the ground.

“Fire Dragon’s Sword Horn.” Natsu headbutted Kelly with a great amount of strength, pushing her away. As they both stood, Natsu could feel that he was getting stronger. His strength grew and the power behind his magic grew too. His only thought was it was E.N.D. doing. He ran up to Kelly and tried to do his Fire Dragon’s Wing attack. Before the attack could hit her she disappeared in gold dust leaving behind a very confused Natsu.  She appeared behind him and kicked him square in the back. Natsu hunched-over and before he could move Kelly put her hand on the back of his head and slammed his face into the ground. Wendy, Juvia, and Gray cringed at the sight. Kelly let Natsu go and stepped away.

“You did well, I could see that you were really trying. Though something got me concerned, you suddenly got more power, how?” Kelly said as Natsu sat up.

“Supposedly I still have E.N.D. inside of me.”

“That makes more sense. He just gave you more power, this could be helpful.” Kelly mumbled before looking at Wendy.

“You’re up next, the last one for today.” Natsu stood up, walked over, and sat down on the ground. Wendy walked onto the damaged field and got in her stance.

“Sky Dragon Slayer magic,” Wendy said before Kelly could ask.

“Grover,” Lucy shouted. Kelly changed her outfit to a long-sleeved crop top and leggings with her feet still bare. Kelly ran up to Wendy and threw a punch at her. She used her right arm to block the attack and used her Sky Dragon’s Claw, successfully hitting Kelly in the side.

“Sky Dragon’s Wave Wind.” A mine tornado form heading straight to Kelly. Kelly covered her face as it hit her causing her to move back a few feet. When she could finally look up Wendy was no longer in front of her. 

“Sky Dragon’s Roar.” Kelly heard from behind her. She didn’t have enough time to dodge so she let it hit her. Once the attack stopped Kelly disappeared in gold dust. Wendy looked around for any sign of her. As Wendy looked to her left Kelly appeared at her right successfully hitting Wendy on her side. Wendy went rolling a bit before she stopped herself and stood up. 

“The waters in the ground come up and aid me.” Kelly chanted. Soon puddles of water started to form on the ground. Wendy looked around in shock and awe. Using Wendy’s distraction, Kelly ran up to Wendy and went in for a punch. Wendy barely dodged it but it left her open. Kelly sent a kick to her side. Wendy landed on the ground, breathing heavily and in pain.

“I think that’s enough for today. I’ll come back tomorrow and we’ll continue this.” Kelly said looking at everyone else.

“I suggest that you get enough rest tonight cause till the Grand Magic Games and when we attack Dark Night you will be training. Also, I'm not going to be going easy on you all because you're fully human. You’re going through the same training as Lucy.” Kelly said to Erza, Gray, Natsu, and Wendy. She turned to Lucy before speaking, “you are not out of training either, Miss Lucy. I will be seeing you tomorrow and Goodbye.” She disappeared in golden dust. By then they finally noticed how late it was. As all of them walked back to the guild the sun started to set.

“Man, I’m hungry,” Natsu said with his hands behind his head.

“Kelly is very strong,” Wendy said to Carla as she carried her.

“Lucy, what is Kelly?” Carla questioned.

“I was wondering the same thing,” Gray said looking at Lucy.

“Well, Guardian made her so that holders, like me, can be trained by her. She basically gets the holder ready to be able to use Guardian’s powers and everything else with Guardian.”

“So she doesn’t have a key?” Erza asked.

“At first yes but she taught me to be able to call her without it.” Lucy finished as they reached the doors of the guild.  Erza went off to god knows where while Gray and Juvia went to sit at a table. Wendy, Carla, Natsu, Happy, and Lucy went to the bar. Natsu called over Mira and ordered something. A few minutes later his food was ready. As she placed the food in front of Natsu she noticed the scratches and bruises on Wendy and Natsu.

“What happened to you guys?” 

“They were training with one of Lucy’s spirits,” Carla answered.

“Already, I would have thought you guys waited a few days till you actually started.”

“We were going to decide where we were going to go but we saw Lucy was training and decided to join in,” Erza said coming behind Wendy. 

“Well, what were you thinking?” Lucy asked.

“I was thinking like before when we went to go train last time.”

“The Beach?” Wendy questioned.

“Yea,” 

“I’m fine with that,” Lucy said and everyone else nodded in agreement. 

“How about we leave tomorrow?” Erza asked. Everyone agreed and Erza walked away to eat her strawberry cake that magically appeared in her hand. Wendy continued to talk to Carla and Happy. Natsu stuffed his face with food as Lucy zoned out. Lucy felt a hand go on her right shoulder causing her to flinch. Old memories started to surface.

Lucy had her knees pulled to her chest trying to stay warm. She gave her cloak to a little girl to keep her and her mother warm. It was mid-winter which caused the cells to be freezing. She heard the door open and multiplied footsteps. Most of the girls came together trying to stay warm and not get seen. Two guards stop at their cell and look at the two other girls. They both shaking, scared of what they’ll do. The guards opened the cell and dragged the two girls out. You could hear the screams and begs from other girls. Soon the door shut close and silence filled the room. Her cloak laid on the ground, she made no movements. She couldn’t even grab the cloak to at least keep herself warm. She felt helpless and weak. She blamed herself for getting some of the women in here and not being able to protect the two that were just with her. She heard the door opened again but she made no movements. She heard her cell open and footsteps walk up to her. She saw boots in her vision which caused her to look up. There stood a guard dress in all black, covered in god knows what. His nose was crooked and the grin he showed her gave her a view of his yellow teeth. Surprising her the guard grabbed her ankles and pulled her. She was fully on her back as the guard got on top of her. She tried to push the guard off but her strength was nothing compared to his. Being beaten and not fed for a couple of days could do that to you. The guard grabbed her wrist into one hand and above her head. Tears threaten to fall. The guard started to put his hand on her hip and push her shirt up. She noticed that her knees were loose so she raised her knees and hit him where the sun didn't shine, hard. She was able to push him off before going for the door. She felt a hand on her shoulder as she was knocked down and rolled over before she could reach the door. 

“You’re gonna pay for that.” The guard said as his legs pin her legs to the ground and his hand held her wrists. She was fighting as hard as she could but she couldn't get free. He was able to push her shirt and started to touch her breast. Tears were falling down her face. She didn’t know why but she started screaming, begging for help. She knew that no one was going to help but she couldn’t help it. The guard told her to shut before grabbing her cloak that laid on the floor, turning her around, and tying it around her mouth. She still screamed even though they were muffled. What was leftover from the cloak, he ripped off and tired her arms behind her back. She still struggled but she couldn’t do anything to stop him from touching her thighs. I can’t believe this is happening, she thought. She felt his hands get closer to her area but stopped once a bang was heard. A heavyweight landed on top of her. She looked up and saw Misty and Daxx staying there. 

“Grabbed her and take her to one of the rooms. It seems we can’t trust our guards to follow orders.” Misty said. Daxx walked over to her and pushed the dead off of her before picking her up. He walked out of the room and down a couple of flights of stairs. He soon stopped at a door and opened it. It was a cement room with chains hanging from different parts of the walls. He stopped at one of the chains and put her down. He undid the knot and chain her arms up. He took off the gag before leaving. She heard the click of the lock. She let her head hang. She felt nothing like she was numb. She could tell that her eyes looked dead. She was so close to being raped, if it wasn’t for Misty or Daxx she would have. She knows that they are the enemy and that she shouldn’t feel thankful for what they did but she couldn’t help it.

She pushed the hand off of her shoulder harshly and quickly stood up. Stood there was Levy and she looked hurt. Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes. She could feel her body start to shake and Celie became alerted. She pushed past Levy and ran outside. She didn't stop even when they called for her. She stopped running when she reached the Sakura Tree that was uprooted years ago. She sat down at the base of the tree and pulled her knees to her chest. She finally let the tears fall. Too many memories now wanted to come up after she let one surface. Her body shook with the sobs. She couldn’t help but let the thoughts enter her mind.

Not Good Enough, one said. Weak, another said. You Let Us Die, another said, and so on. Reminding her of all the mistakes she made and named all her flaws. Not being able to handle all the voice screaming in her head, she screamed. She didn’t hear either pay attention to the footsteps as they stepped closer to her. She didn’t care if it was Dark Night, her friends, or even a stranger. She felt a hand on her back as it rubbed her back. The person sat down next to her, comforting her as she let out all the things she was feeling. She knew it was Natsu after a while thanks to the abnormal heat he gave off. He put his hand on the side of her that was facing away and pulled her closer. She allowed him to do it. She knows that if it was anyone else she would have pushed away or begged them to leave her alone because the memories of the rape were still fresh in her mind. She knew that he wouldn't do anything. Soon her sobbed quiet down and all you could hear was her sniffles. Natsu still said nothing which was good. She put her head on his shoulder and just stared blankly ahead. She knew that her eyes had hints of blue for Celia was still on alert. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" Natsu questioned after sitting there in silence for a few minutes. Lucy said nothing.

"Was it a memory from before?" He questioned looking at Lucy. She nodded. Natsu said nothing else. He wanted her to tell him on her own terms, not forced.

"It was the wintertime during the first year that I was gone." She started. "I was recently captured by Dark Night and it was a few days after they had tortured and all that. I was in a cell with the other women. They gave out an order to the guards that I wasn't to be touched so when the door opened I knew that they were going to take some girls. The guards took the two other girls that were in my cell. Soon they all left with the girls. I had given them my cloak so that they could stay warm. Soon the door opened again and in came a guard. He had stopped at my cell and stared at me for a while. He opened the door and walked up to me. I thought that they were going to torture me again. The guard me by my ankles and pull me. H-he tr-tried to rape me. I fought and got him off of me and I ran for the door. He was able to knock me down and he used my cloak to tie my wrist behind my back. I started to scream and he grabbed what was left of my cloak and tied it around my mouth. He was able to lift my shirt and he started to feel my thighs. It didn’t go any further cause Misty shot him. They moved me into a room and I stayed there.” She finished. Natsu said nothing. He was angry at what had happened to her and wanted the guy dead but someone beat him to it. This made him want to take Dark Night down even more. 

“If you no longer want to be with me I understand,” Lucy said, breaking Natsu’s train of thought.

“What but why would I do that?” Natsu didn’t understand why she would say that.

“Cause I almost let it happen, that I wasn’t strong enough to stop him.”

“Lucy, you are strong enough. You carried this burden for the past two years. So far you are the strongest person I know.” Natsu said, turning to her and putting his hand on her cheek. He placed it on her left, unsure if anything would happen if he placed it on her right. She leaned into his warmth. She wrapped her arms around his torso and hugged him. She buried her face into his chest. Natsu wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. He inhaled her scent, calming himself down. She pulled away from his chest but still stayed in his arms. They stared into each other's eyes till she went in and kissed him. He immediately kisses her back. He growled at her sweet taste. He licked her bottom lip before nibbling on it. She opened her mouth allowing his tongue to explore. He put his hand on the back of her neck and pulled her closer. She moaned into the kiss causing him to growl again. She pulled away, panting. He went straight to her neck, leaving a trail of kisses.

“Natsu what are you-.” She gasped as he sucked and nibbled on her pulse point.

“Mine.” He mumbled before going to her ear and biting the lobe gently. She pushed his chest lightly and he pulled away from her neck. He looked into her eyes, the blue that once was there was gone. She pulled him into a hug again.

“Thank you, Natsu… for everything.” She whispered. Natsu laid his back on the ground with Lucy on his side. Lucy’s head was on Natsu’s chest with his arm around her waist as they looked up at the sky. It was a full moon and the Taurus Constellation was able to be seen. Lucy closed her eyes, enjoying the moonlight on her skin. 

Somewhere Else

“You don’t deserve to be the leader.”  A female voice shouted. It kept replaying in her head. She couldn’t help but feel bad that she made some leave. She looked out her window and sigh. A knock brought her out of her thinking state. She turned around her blue hair with hints of pink and purple swirl around her. 

“Come in.” She said. In came a male, he had white hair and ocean blue eyes.

“He requests to speak to you.” He said.

“I won’t speak to him, not after what he has done.” She said and looked back out the window.

“Ce, you know there was nothing he could do.” The nickname he gave so long ago made her chuckle.

“Yes, there was something he could’ve done. He’s the leader for god sake. He showed me that he would keep his title rather than to save his child.” She said, starting to get angry.

“Ce, it was going to happen one day, it would have been revealed one day. If you did it from the beginning then maybe-,”

“No, it would have been the same outcome. She was a child that was born with two strong magics. They would still have killed her, I was trying to protect her. But you know what is unfair, how you were able to keep your child even though it was the same as mine.” She shouted tears were threatening to fall. The male had nothing to say.

“Leave, I will not speak about this again.” The male nodded. As he was closing the door she shouted to him,

“Tell him if he really wants to fix what happened between us then maybe he should come to find me and not send his dog to do so.” The male nodded as he shut the door. She leaned her head against the window and let her tears fall. She grabbed onto her locket that hung around her neck.

“My baby, I’m so sorry that I couldn’t protect you.” She whispered.

“Another will be here in the coming years, let's just hope that child doesn’t die too.” She said before going to her desk to finish her.

I spent all week on this chapter. You guys have no idea how much I deleted than rewrote. I spent 30+ hours on this chapter. Sorry if the chapter is too long for some of you guys.
