No One’s Point Of View

“Gildarts is our strongest member but he isn't here right now. Erza, Laxus, and Mirajane are the next strongest members than the rest of our S-class members.”

“Lucy has somewhat of a plan. She didn't tell me much but from what I know it has to do with Gajeel, Erza, Gray, Natsu, and Wendy. I think she is using the knowledge she’s learned from before which might not be helpful. Which means I want to see how strong you guys are.” Kalmte stopped speaking and looked at the screen. The demon had stopped torturing Lucy and was talking to her. Kalmte raised the volume.

“You know my master was only being nice. Letting me have a limit if he hadn’t given me one you would be begging for me to stop.” The demon said to Lucy as she crouched in front of her.

“I bet he does the same thing to you, maybe even worse.”

“You don’t know anything.”

“I do know that you love him so much that you would do anything but the sad thing is that he doesn’t love you.”

“He does love me.”

“That is not love. Torturing people, killing people is not love.”

“It is if it is to help us.”

“He is just using you. He only wants to get to his goal and when you are no longer useful, he’ll throw you out like garbage.”

“You don't know anything about love.”

“I do actually.”

“Please the only love you knew was from that pink-haired boy and I bet he doesn’t love you anymore after leaving for two years.”

“I know he still loves me. You want to know why I know that he still loves me. Because he still is with me after two years. He doesn't care about what I've been through or that I nearly killed myself one time. He still stayed. He understands the secrets that I keep and all that shit. That's love not whatever is between you and Nap.”

“Let me ask you this, did you care that he was part demon, that his brother was evil?”

“No, even now I don't care because that does not define who he is even if he is still part demon.”

“What do you mean that he’s still part demon, his demon should not live without his book.”

“That demon is still alive, *sigh* E.N.D. is still alive.” The demon's eyes widened in shock. Not only did her eyes widened but so did Fairy Tail. They all thought that Lucy detaches E.N.D. from Natsu.

“But how, how is that possible? No demon can live without their book.”

“Remember, life is life even if it needs something to live.” The demon said nothing else and stood up. She ran out of the room. Lucy waited a few seconds before she started to tug at the chains. The chains made a creaking showing that it might give out soon. Lucy kept tugging harder and harder even though her body protested. Soon the left chain gave out and her hand was free. Using the freehand, she pulled on the right chain until it gave out. Lucy stood up, using the wall for support. She shakily went over to her cloak and picked it up. She put it on before going to the door. It was still wide open. Lucy stumbled out the door and saw no one. Lucy went right and made her way till she reached the stairs. She could hear footsteps going from the levels below. She ran up the stairs and kept going till she reached the top. She summoned a dragger and opened the door. She immediately stabbed the guy to her left and then went to the guy on her right. Blood splattered on her. Red lights started flashing from inside and the alarm went off. She ran into the forest, dodging the patrol. She continued running until she reached a tree and climbed it. Once she was far enough up the tree she sat on a branch. Her body was in so much pain and tears nearly threatened to fall. She heard shouts not too far from where she was. She looked down and saw the guards from Dark Night below her. They looked around before continuing on. After an hour she could no longer hear anyone. She started to inspect her wounds. Her magic was weak with the chains still on her wrist. She couldn’t use too much without hurting herself. The sun was soon going down. She knew that it would be passed to move now but her body didn’t move. Most of her wounds finally stopped bleeding. She took off her cloak and landed on herself like a cover. The camera could now see her face. Soon Lucy’s eyes shut close as she fell into darkness.

“What do we do now?” Levy asked. Kalmte was typing something on her lacrima phone and pulled out another one. She turned it on and handed it to Levy.

“Now we get Lucy back here before they find her. Makarov, it's up to you who goes.”

“Natsu, Wendy, Levy, and Gajeel will go. The rest are too wounded.” All of them nodded and stood up. On the lacrima was a dot of where Lucy was and where was them. Right now was a race against time and Dark Night. They all headed out and went in the direction they needed to go. They don't know how long they were running but they soon came to a stop.

“Someone’s here with us,” Gajeel said. Everyone got into a fighting stance.  

“I guess they are also looking for the girl.” Nap said as he came out of his hiding spot.

“It would have been easier if we just followed them to where Lucky was,” Grover said, coming out of his.

“But if we attack now we can get that thing the bookworm has.” Gin said jumping out of a tree.

“You guys are going down,” Natsu said.

“I don't think so, it would so much easier to just kill you but Nah,” Grover said looking at Wendy. 

“After hearing what Lucky said about you Natsu Dragneel, it took my interest. I mean I studied demons my whole life and all the demons your brother made needed a book to live so how are you still alive without it.” Nap said, looking at Natsu.

“A metal dragon slayer, I wonder how much you can take before your body breaks.” Gin said.

“Happy, Carla, Levy, go find Lucy,” Natsu said.

“But what about you guys?”

“Right now our mission is to find Lucy so go.” Levy wanted to argue but didn’t. She ran in the direction she needed to go with Happy and Carla flying behind her. 

“It looks like it's just the three of us then.” Natsu ran up to Nap and tried to punch him but he stepped back and summoned one of his books. He opened a random page and summoned whoever was on that page. Out came a girl, in ninja clothes and samurai.

“Show me your power E.N.D.” Nap said. 

Now with Gajeel, he was dodging the knives thrown at him. Gin was slowly starting to get a crazy look in her eyes. Gajeel used Iron Dragon's Lance. She got pushed back but landed on her feet. 

“I don't like receiving pain, I rather give it.” Gin said with a little anger in her voice. Gajeel knew from video and from past encounters with this chick that she gets crazy when she’s mad. He was going to use it to his advantage. She made her knife disappear and summoned a whip. 

With Wendy, Grover just stood there not moving.

“Are you gonna do anything?” Wendy asked. He opened his eyes and changed from their cropper color to green. Soon roots wrapped around Wendy’s ankles keeping her in place. He ran up to her and kicked her in the stomach. The roots let her go causing her to go flying back but stopped before she hit the tree. 

“Sky Dragon Roar.” Before the roar could hit him, his eyes changed to a light blue. He put his hand in front of him. The roar was cut in half and went around him. He blew a gust of wind at her. Using her hands to cover her eyes from the dirt, she didn't see his eyes change right to an ocean blue. Before she could do anything, she froze. No matter what she did, her body did not move. 

“Do you like my magic? I can control almost anything I want.”

“You use blood magic but that magic is forbidden,” Wendy said in shock.

“It's not blood magic, sweetheart. Your body has water in it and I'm just using that.” Wendy noticed that his eyes always changed before using a different element. She was going to use that to her advantage. When she noticed that his eyes were about to change she shot wind at him. Using his arms, he blocks his eyes before he makes it disappear. When he looked up Wendy was no longer in his sights. He started to turn around but went flying back when Wendy did her Sky Dragon Roar. he went flying into a tree but got up quickly. He was starting to grow angry. His eyes changed to red and he shot fire at Wendy. Wendy dodged it. He kept shooting fire at her. Wendy came up with a plan but it was a risk. She slowly made the air around thinner, making it harder to breathe. He could no longer shoot fire at her.

“How the hell did you do stop my fire?” Wendy didn’t answer and ran up to him. She jumped in the air before saying,

“Sky Dragon’s Wing Attack.” He went flying back again but was able to stop himself from hitting anything. Wendy slowly started to notice flaws in his magic. 

Natsu was starting to get annoyed. All this guy did was summon a demon and is now standing off to the side.l

“Show me your power, Demon. Stop holding back.” Nap shouted to Natsu. Both he and the demon had cuts and bruises covering their skin.

“Maybe I might show you if you fight instead of hiding behind your demons,” Natsu shouted back. Nap stopped moving completely along with his demon. Natsu was growing confused when the demon bowed and left.

“I will show my power, maybe now you will show me yours.” Nap said getting a crazy look in his eyes. Nap made his book disappear and walked towards Natsu.

“Let's see if you can handle me, boy.” Nap raised his hand and black things shot at Natsu. Natsu covered himself as it hit his arms. He thought nothing of it till it started to burn. He tried to brush it off but it won’t come off like it became part of his skin. Natsu wasn’t paying attention to Nap so he took that. He kicked Natsu in the stomach pushing him back. Natsu ran up to him and tried to punch him with his Fire Dragon's Iron Fist but noticed that his fist wasn’t on fire. Nap went flying back after dodging the punch with his arm. 

“Not so strong without your magic now.” Nap said. 

“Fire Dragon's Roar.” He roared at Nap. Nap made no movement. Once the fire disappeared Nap still stood there but parts of him and his clothes were burned. Nap ran up to him and at the last second disappeared before reappearing behind Natsu. He placed his hands on Natsu and started to electrocute him. Nap jumped back as Natsu fell on one of his knees. Natsu couldn’t keep up. He was either taking his attacks head-on or dodging them. 

“You haven’t shown me what you can do, demon. Now I'm wondering if Lucky lied.” Lucy came to Natsu’s mind. The only reason he was fighting these guys was that he was trying to protect Lucy, his mate. Natsu started to grow angry. Burn him, kill him. The voice in his head started to say. Natsu finally knew who this voice belonged to, E.N.D.  He started to burn off the black stuff off his arms and ran to Nap. 

“Fire Dragon's Wing Attack,” Natsu shouted and hit Nap head-on. 

“Guys, we got Lucy,” Levy said as she came back up to the group. Happy and Carla were holding beaten up Lucy. They knew that they had to finish their fights. Nap, Gin, and Grover looked at Lucy before going back to their fight.

Gin whipped her whip at Gajeel and he let it wrap around his iron arm. He surprised her by grabbing it with his other arm and started moving in a circle. He let go and made her go flying in Nap. They hit each and went sliding across the floor. 

“Levy started going ahead with Happy and Carla. We’ll catch up.” Gajeel said and Levy nodded. They started to go ahead and Grover was about to go after them but Wendy did her Sky Dragon’s Roar, sending him with his other two members. Fairy Tail their chance and caught up to Levy. They soon had to stop so Natsu could carry Lucy. They soon made it back to Fairy Tail. They kicked open the doors and went inside. Porlyusica told them all to go to the infirmary. Natsu laid Lucy on the bed and Porlyusica went straight to her. Mira and Levy helped Gajeel, Wendy, and Natsu with their wounds. Soon all three of them were bandaged. Kalmte came up with Gramps behind her. 

“What happened?”

“They were already waiting for us. They knew that we were going to get Bunny Girl.” Gajeel said.

“Gajeel told Levy to go ahead with Carla and Happy while we fought them.”

“Those guys are something else. Nap just wanted for me to show my power. It was weird, I said I will show my power, maybe now you will show me yours and his whole demeanor changed.” Natsu said.

“Gin is just crazy in the head. She was so focused on making me feel pain instead of actually fighting.” Gajeel said. 

“Grover was starting to get confused when I made the air thinner so he couldn’t use his fire magic,” Wendy said.

“That's good.” All three of them looked at each other. “What I mean is that Lucy and I thought they already knew your guys' magic and how strong you were but we were wrong. If they knew then they would have done things differently.” Kalmte explained. 

“You got to her in time,” Porlyusica said, coming up to us.

“What do you mean?” Natsu asked.

“Well, whatever they put in her wounds has slowed down her healing process and also it will leave scars. If you didn't get her here she would have gone into a coma or died.”

“If she died then that would be bad cause we don't have her key.”

“Yea, we have her key.” Happy suddenly said.

“What do you mean, Lucy told me that she hasn’t found her key yet.”

“Natsu showed her.” Natsu pulled out of his pocket a golden key.

“How the hell did you get this?” Kalmte asked.

“Yukino came to us and said that she might have a way to find Lucy. She called the spirit and in the end, we found out that the spirit was Lucy.” Gramps explained.

“Alright, it's good that we know who has it but Natsu no matter what does not lose or show anyone that key. That key must be protected no matter what. If Dark Night gets that then they will have Lucy in their hands.” Natsu nodded and put it back in his pocket. 

“Right now we are off to a good start. Once Lucy wakes up, we can start forming a plan but till she does I want you to start having your member train. If we want to be a step ahead of them we have to be ready.” Everyone nodded. Kalmte and Gramps walked out of the room, discussing between themselves. Natsu looked over at Lucy and saw her all bandaged up. The bandage was around her right arm and her whole torso. Her left thigh was covered in a bandage that had a little blood on and her whole right leg was covered. He could still hear her screams in his mind.  One thing he couldn’t get out of his mind that E.N.D. was still alive and in him. He needed answers but he had to wait. He looked at his bandage arms. The black liquid left burn marks on his arms and he was surprised. Nothing actually ever burned him. 

“It was demon poison,” Porlyusica said, breaking him from his thoughts. He looked at her in confusion. 

“Demon poison is what left the burn marks. Whoever got it on you had to drain the power of a demon and then drain the blood of the same demon then mix it together. It’s forbidden demon magic. Usually depending on who the demon is and their magic it could have worse or different effects on the person.”

“Is there a way for one of Zeref’s demons to live even though he’s died?”

“No, the books connected to Zeref’s life so if he died, all the books disappeared. Why do you ask?”

“Supposedly E.N.D. is still alive in me.”

“What but that can’t be possible.”

“Lucy said that he’s still alive and she was one of the ones that rewrote the book.”

“Who’s the other one?”

“Gray.”

“Mira, do you mind going to get Gray?”

“Sure.” She said sweetly before walking out the door. Soon in came Gray holding Storm since Juvia was still unconscious. 

“When Lucy rewrote the book of E.N.D. what happened?”

“Well, when we opened the book words appeared all around us in circles. Lucy looked around and then picked up a quill out of nowhere. Red marks started to form her hand and down her arm. She just froze then dropped the quill. She grunted out in pain and held her arm. I and Happy went to touch her and her skin was boiling hot. Then she said something was burning inside of her. Happy said that it was Natsu’s fire. I saw it as his fire as a demon. Lucy said that she could use it as a clue as she put her right hand on her face. She said that if she followed the magic power she might be able to rewrite the demon inside of Natsu.”

“But that’s dangerous, it would have killed her.”

“Yea, but I used my demon slayer magic to make it cool to help her. She picked up the quill again and started rewriting things down. After she finished the words started to go back into the book. She soon passed out so I used my demon slayer magic to get rid of the demon which was the red marks on her body. After she woke up, she was fine.” 

“But it makes no sense. If you got rid of the demon then how do you still have E.N.D. in you.” Porlyusica said, putting her hand on her chin.

“Gray didn’t get rid of a demon.” Gramps suddenly said. He was in the doorway.

“Lucy had a letter sent to me a little after she left. She explained that some bad people were after her and that she needed to leave. She said that she was fine but then said that it would be a good idea to keep an eye on Natsu. She explained that when she rewrote the book of E.N.D. that she couldn’t do what everyone thought she did. Everyone thinks that she detaches E.N.D. from Natsu. She said that if she did that she would do that then Natsu might lose his magic or he would grow weak with the demon. Another choice she had was to detach the demon from the book but there was a risk of Natsu losing control and the demon taking over. The last choice she had which was to detach the demon from the book and attach it to something else. So if the item it was attached to was destroyed, E.N.D. could take control but by the time that happened it might be calm and not go crazy.”

“So what choice did Lucy choose?” Porlyuscia asked.

“She picked the last one, attached it to something else. She thought of that as the best choice, Natsu won't be at risk of losing control or he won't be weak or lose his magic.”

“What did she attach it to?” Natsu asked.

“*sigh* I didn't agree with it but I had to accept her decision. She attached it to her life, Natsu.” Everyone’s eyes widened. 

“That means if Lucy actually dies then the thing keeping E.N.D. locked away will become undone and he could take control.” Natsu couldn’t understand what he just heard. Lucy attached the demon to herself just so he could be fine. 

“But I don't see that as possible, it would have killed her the moment it did that,” Porlyusica argued.

“That is where Gray came in, using his demon slayer magic he killed whatever was going to kill Lucy.”

“But why did she tell us?” Wendy finally said something.

“She thought it would be best to keep it a secret for the time being. She was going to wait for everything to finally calm down after the war and then tell us but as you see that didn't happen. She was even worried about telling me because if the letter got in the wrong hands then they would have known about it.”

“So can E.N.D. take control since Lucy died but was brought back?” Natsu said.

“No,” Natsu nodded and looked down at the ground.

“How bout we go rest now and finish any conservation for the morning. We are all tired, I want you three to stay here and protect Lucy in case they come.” The three Dragon Slayers nodded. Natsu laid on the bed and closed his eyes. He couldn’t believe what he learned today. Sleep soon consumes him. Wendy laid on the bed and fell asleep. Gajeel laid on his bed, he wasn’t tired. Something kept running in his mind. The way Gin fought like she knew everything about him. He let his eyes close and sleep took him.

This took me 4 hours Yesterday and 4 hours today. Hope you enjoy.

We are so close to reaching 500 reads. It may not be a high number to some people but to it is.
