It has been two days since Arthit has been incessantly trying to turn on his master. He had licked his lips, stared at Kongpob until he could bore holes in to his skull, smiled till he felt his lips will split but nothing seems to be working. Kongpob is like iron statue.

He doesn't get turned on...at all! 😤.

While Arthit still is unaware as of how to identify a 'turn on', P'Kit has said that he will know when his master gets turned on by him. Arthit trusts P'Kit.

It has been two days...but Arthit never felt his master getting turned on😬. Kongpob is like every other day.... No change at all.

Arthit had tried everything but ... Lip biting . Should he give it a try ? 🤔 Arthit frowned thinking about the possibility. He never thought it would come to this😯.

It just doesnt sit right with him. He has been taught all his life that biting is bad manners. How can he bite his lips now? And why can he bite his own lip but not Kongpob's?
If him biting his own lip is fine... Biting Kongpob's lips should be fine too😒.

" Arthit, I'm locking the door from outside. Try to see that Babo don't make noises... Or house help will think I've a ghost in my bathroom. "

" I am Bright bird you moron! " The bird yelled.

" Then behave like one" kong fired back.

Bright bird angrily pecked at his perch, his tail feathers all standing straight.

Arthit glared at Kongpob who just shrugged in reply. For some reason, his master doesn't like Bright bird. Whenever Bright bird praises Arthit, Kongpob makes it a point to call the bird Babo ( fool ) .

Arthit has such an urge to throw Kong to his pet sharks . No one insults his friend 😣. But,being a good pet, Arthit turned to his friend to smooth her ruffled feathers.

" Bright bird, don't be angry na ... Master is teasing you. You are most intelligent bird I've ever met 😊"

Bird fluttered its wings " Thank you, Prince Arthit. "

Kongpob smirked " Don't rejoice too much, Babo. You are only bird he has ever seen. "

" Dunderhead ! " The bird yelled that made Kong chuckle. His mission of annoying the bird was complete.

" Take care Arthit. And don't be afraid of the noises, its mostly house help. Lights will be on. I'll be back soon, okay ? "

" Okay, master. 😍" Arthit licked his lips in hope of turning on his master.

" Bye. " Without sparing Arthit a second glance, Kongpob turned to lock the door.

" No kisses, master🙄 ? "

Already expecting, Kong spun on his heels " None if you call me master. "

" Kongpob... Kisses? " Arthit mumbled. Smiling, Kong retraced his steps to the merman's tub and pecked his forehead.

Arthit frowned. Everyday, Kongpob should love him more, then ehy only one kiss ?

Shaking off the negative thoughts, Arthit kissed his master's cheeks.
" Have a nice day, Kongpob🤗."

Kongpob smiled " You too 😊"

As soon as Kongpob turned his back, Arthit's shoulder sagged in defeat.

Today too, he couldn't turn on his master.

" Bright bird, I couldn't turn Kongpob on 😑😔. Arthit is a bad pet ☹️"

" Arthit is beautiful 😍" the bird chirped.

" Arthit knows that. That's only consolation, Bright bird. 😔. Why do you think Kongpob doesn't get turned on ? Is it Arthit's fault ? "

" Kongpob is a NINCOMPOOP. " Still smarting from Kongpob's insult, the bird yelled the last part loudly.

Arthit eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the revealation.

" It's not Arthit's fault ? 😯"

" Arthit is beautiful 😍" Bird replied.

Arthit giggled " You are making Arthit blush , Bright bird. 😚"

" Kongpob is idiot. 😤"

" Don't insult Arthit's master dear friend. Being a good pet, Arthit will have to feed you to his pet sharks😔"

" Traitor... 😭" Bird cried.

" Shhh ..." Arthit put a finger on his lips " Arthit is just being a good pet, Bright bird. Hush now....Everyone will think, you are a ghost. Kongpob said not to talk "

Bright bird immediately shut his beak. Both sat silent for almost an hour... Arthit was lost in his thoughts...

So, Kongpob is nincompoop. That's a new discovery.. this word sound like a disease. Arthit hopes it isn't much serious. He could have asked Bright bird, but Kongpob said not to talk.

Arthit also has one burning question. How does Bright bird know everything ? What should Arthit do to be an intelligent pet like Bright Bird. 🤔

Whatever. Arthit is so lucky to have such an intelligent friend with him.

Arthit closed his eyes in frustration. Fate is not fair at all. Can't he get a normal master who can get turned on... Instead he got a nincompoop master🙄... What should he do now ?
His brain isn't working at all.

" Hello, dear brother " Arthit felt something poking his shoulder. He made a face... He very well knew who is visiting him😒.

Raising his gaze, Arthit asked hopefully " Even beautiful than you ?"

Perching on the edge of the bathtub, Kit patted his brother's shoulder sympathetically "now..now,  Don't push your luck, baby brother. I'm the best"

" Go away, Kit.😤 "

" What's the problem , kiddo ? "

" Kongpob is a nincompoop 😭😭😭. He is not getting turned on because of that."

Kit chuckled " Every master is. P'Singto was like that too "

Kit slid closer to Arthit and squeezed his shoulder gently. " No, I'm saying may be Kongpob is being blind. "

" Hold on ... I'm not talking bad about your master. I'm just saying since he is being nincompoop, you have to double your efforts. Make him see your actions clearly. It will turn his focus to you... And tada... He will be wrapped around your little finger. "

" You promise that it will work ? "

" Yes. "

" Pinky promise ? "

" Pinky promise. It will 100% work."

Arthit eyed his brother warily " If it doesn't work, I'll feed your pinky to my pet sharks 😡"

After P'Kit was gone , Arthit again got lost in musing.

Now, he will have to double his efforts😣😣... So much work 😫. He never thought being a pet is this hard !

Pet should look after master...

All the rules are so biased... A pet should do everything 😫 & master does nothing & be nincompoop😠... That adds more work for pet 😖.

Each and everyone in favour of master ! Why ? 😟

There are no rules saying that a master should never yell at pet and must kiss his pet daily. Arthit loves when Kongpob expresses his love by kissing. Other pets should like it too when their masters kiss them, right ?

And a master must buy ice cream everyday. That's a must.

There should be rules for pet too ! Human world is so unfair! Should Arthit fight for rights of pets?

Arthit's ears perked up on hearing the footsteps approaching the bathroom. All the plans for rebellion flew right out of the window.

Is Kongpob home ?

Did he buy ice cream with another yummy flavour 😋? Arthit will miss ice cream when he will go back to the sea😑. But, he can enjoy it right now🙃.

Kongpob also gave him a tube of some clear pulp called nude lip balm to keep his lips soft and luscious and prevent them from getting dry. Arthit will miss it too.

Although, he liked the strawberry one better, this nude balm doesn't taste that bad. He has tasted it and liked it 😋 but Kongpob doesn't have to know that 😉.

Arthit sat in attention, ready to welcome the human with a serene smile.
" How was your day? " Kong asked handing the cone of chocolate chip ice cream to the merman.

" It was nice master. How was yours ?" Arthit asked eagerly eyeing his treat.

Crouching at Arthit's eye level, Kong heaved a long sigh. " Very bad"

" Why master 😯? "

" I lost a deal. And my mom thought a date would cheer me up. So, am going on blind date tomorrow evening 😒? "

" What is blind date master? 🤔"

" I will have to go to meet a prospective partner over dinner.😔 "

" You are going to find a mate for yourself, to spend your life with ? Is it like courtship, Kongpob ?🤔"

" Kind of. We call it dating now a days. She will be my date and I hers. "

" Arthit is so sorry that your prospective mate is blind😑... Arthit knows a witch who can give her eyes
.. but she can only see for four hours at night... for mating. "

"My mate🤦 ... I mean she is not blind😬"

" You said you have a blind date🙄"

Kongpob chuckled. " It means, I never saw her. When you never met the person you are having food with, its called a blind date. "

Why do they call a lady blind date when she is clearly not ! 🙆.

"Oh..🙄" Arthit heaved a dramatic sigh "..Humans are weird master. They say what they don't mean. They don't say what they actually mean."

" Yes. They are weird, I guess."

" You are human too, master 🙄. It means you are weird too..."

Kongpob laughed " 😆😆... Yes..yes, I am. "

Arthit beamed seeing his master's laughter. Kongpob looks pretty handsome. Not more than Arthit though!

" Arthit thinks Kongpob should hunt for his mate. What does human say.... Relationship. Arthit thinks Kongpob is lonely. "

" I don't have time for relationships, Arthit. "

" How ? You have so much time. You can just laze around some less and find time for your mate, master. Arthit thinks it will do you some good."

" You think so merman ? "

" Yes and you should take Arthit's advice because he is most intelligent merman in the sea. 😇"

" Okay, Arthit. I'll go see her. "

" You must. .. By the way, master, we need to talk. "

" Umm... Okay. Can this talk wait ? I'll just go and get changed.."

After changing in to comfy pajamas, Kong came back woth a chair that he placed infront of Arthit's bathtub and took a seat on it.

" Okay, Let's talk, merman."

Arthit beckoned him in reply
" Kongpob, come here."

" Okay" Kong dragged his chair towards the tub.

" Closer..."

Kongpob dragged the chair more in Arthit's direction till its leg touched the outer surface of white bath tub..

" Closer, Kongpob..." Arthit urged leaning towards Kongpob.

Brows knitted in suspicion, Kongpob leaned closer until their noses almost touched.

Smiling in satisfaction, Arthit caught his lower lip between his teeth while running hus tongue slowly along the curve of his lower lip.

Kongpob's eyes were stuck on Arthit's tounge seductively caressing curvature of his plump lower lip.

For a mili second... Just for a mili second Kong almost forgot that Arthit was not completely a human. He found himself leaning forward,intending to erase the distance ... Just a hair's breadth away...

Seeing Kongpob's dazed expressions, Arthit clapped his hands in glee  " Are you finally turned on, master ? 👏"

Kongpob's mind was rudely dragged back to realty by Arthit's cheerful exclaimation

" What 😱..." Kong shrieked.

" You are turned on, master👏"

". No...no, I'm not"

" You are master" Arthit insisted.

" I can never be turned on by you , Arthit" because you are not a human.

" I know you are ill. But, don't lose hope, master. You will get well soon...It is not even a serious disease."

"I have no disease merman 😤"

" Bright bird, please tell Kongpob which poop he is ? "

" You are that, Babo. "

" Babo cannot be , Kongpob." Arthit explained in a duh tone. " Only masters are nincompoop. Bright bird is a pet... But, don't you worry. Arthit knows magic. He will cure you. 🤗. You will get turned on again, Arthit promises you that😇"

" Ughh.." Kongpob clutched his head at the absurd explaination. "I think I'll go mad, real soon. "

Human was gone to bring some sustainance. He had promised Arthit chicken... Arthit had quite liked chicken lollipop he had yesterday. How he wishes, there should be some chicken in the sea !

Arthit shook his head frantically. Focus on the problem Arthit! This us third day and you still haven't turned on your master. P'Kit said to double your efforts💪. Fighting !

"Sorry  Arthit, no chicken today. Is tomyum okay for dinner? "

Arthit's mouth watered at mere name.

" Okay, master. "

Kongpob passed the bowl to the merman.
" I'll show you how to eat with chopsticks..."

" But, Arthit is hungry ... Can't he learn tomorrow ? Na khrap...." seeing Arthit's puppy dog eyes, Kong couldn't help but give in.

" Fine. I'll feed you. Only for today though.. from tomorrow onwards, you will eat on your own. "

" Okay master😇". Arthit eagerly parted his lips, his eyes fixed on the delicious food as if it was only thing that mattered in the universe.

" Here. " Kong fed the merman who slurped the noodles like he was hungry since eons.

" Take it slow or you will choke merman." Kong scolded. Arthit finally slowed down, taking time to enjoy the flavour and chewiness.

Kongpob lovingly gazed at the merman who was savoring human food like ambrosia.

Since this creature invaded his life, Kong has come to appreciate small things... Perks of being human. He has come to appreciate his life, facilities, food, surrounding, development made by man... even his bathtub.

And, he is being habitual to this other worldly creature who is currently moaning with his eyes closed. Kong found the small moans quite disturbing for sanity of his mind!

When Arthit didn't get next bite, he opened his eyes only to find Kong smiling serenely at him.

Arthit smiled in glee "I'm so happy that you are finally turned on by me, master🤗. "

" What 😱... " Kongpob sputtered, desperately trying to find right words " What are you saying ? , I'm not turned on, Arthit..🤢"

" Don't lie 😠. " Arthit leaned towards his master "Arthit knows you are turned on. "

Arthit is finally a good pet 🤗.

" I am not turned on. " Kongpob vehemently denied, descreetly checking down south. Thank God, he is not turned on.

" Master, turn off the lights. " Arthit suddenly ordered.

" Huh 😶 ? "

" Pendant, turn off the lights, then turn them on. "

All the lights of the house were instantly turned off .

" Turn on the lights" Arthit ordered the pendant. Instantly, house bathed in light.

" See... When we turn on, lights glow... Just like your face master. Your face was glowing when you looked at Arthit , it means Arthit turned you on."

Kongpob's racing heart slowed down at Arthit's logic, an awkward chuckle escaped his lips " Is that so ? I think, I'm turned on then 😅".

" Finally.... Arthit is best pet master" 😺
