Utter Destruction of Camp Traditions

"Begin."

Chaos erupted as silver and orange clashed. There were a few dots of purple here are there amidst the orange, but they were few and far between.

Many campers were captured and sent to jail immediately, along with one Hunter- a young girl who looked like she recently joined.

Clashing of daggers and swords were heard throughout the woods, laughter and taunts echoed off the trees. Even though the campers were at least two hundred strong, and the Hunters were thirty odd, the Hunters were kicking ass. Suddenly cheers erupted as an orange flag was carried over the Hunter's boundary line.

Annabeth knew the game wasn't over yet- the orange flag hadn't turned silver yet meaning that the Hunters hadn't obtained the Avengers flag. The game was still going. "Team A and B go after our flag! Team C is with me! Go!" The blonde yelled, running off and dodging traps.

Annabeth, with her honed reflexes only caught a slight shiver of trees before a black arrow came down, near the feet of a few campers and a Hunter. "Ha! You missed!" The Hunter called out. The only answer was an eerie laugh, a flash of movement, before the arrow exploded, sending teens alike flying.

Red energy arched through the air, and suddenly Captain America was in the middle of the throng. The group heard a whirring sound before a blue beam hit the Captain's shield. Teens dodged out of the way as the super soldier arched the beam of power that came from Tony Stark. Everyone who had to dodge, Annabeth noticed, were unharmed- if a bit singed. The Captain was then lifted up again and deposited, quickly having to duck behind his shield to avoid an arrow to the arm.

Annabeth found Thalia's eyes. Even if after all these years, the head Hunter never forgave her, Annabeth flawlessly communicated what she wanted. Whatever side got this flag got to keep it- getting two flags instead of all three would end the game. Thalia simply nodded. Once the two team leaders communicated this to their 'troops' the teens started fighting harder.

Four people suddenly stepped out from behind the trees- Agent EctoCore, Black Widow, the Winter Soldier, and Bruce Banner- and started attacking hand to hand. The four of them together were formidable- they always covered each other and were totally aware of their own bodies. Soon enough the Winter Soldier and the Agent stood back to back, fighting and blocking like a whirlwind. Bruce Banner suddenly crouched as Natasha jumped over him to attack a Hunter.

Booms were heard in the distance- Hawkeye's arrows were making a big smash.

Annabeth noticed in growing horror that the Avengers were gaining ground. Thor had engaged Thalia- the god winning due to his superior strength and better connection to his powers. The Vision shot at the archers in the trees, Scarlet Witch's magic catching them as they toppled and set them gently down.

Falcon swooped by, dropping something before presumably going back to the flag. Suddenly Antman appeared, and the ants started forming an army. Kids were knocked down and taken over quickly. Annabeth knew she had to act now.

She gathered the Athena kids, ready for a sneak attack. Just when the red flag was in sight, the group heard Spiderman's voice. "Arachne is a go." The group froze as a big metal spider dropped down, surrounded by babies dangling similarly. The spider screeched and suddenly the babies blew up as Arachne glared. The Athena kids screamed and ran, Annabeth only able to stay long enough to see Spiderman deposit the spider onto his shoulder as he swung away.

Once Annabeth slowed her heart rate down to acceptable levels, she slid her Yankees cap on and started to dart through the mayhem. Weaving around the fighting Annabeth once again spotted the flag, War Machine standing near it, shooting at arrows that strayed to far to his teammates. Just as Annabeth was about to close her hand around the flag, she was lifted into the air, Scarlet Witch stepping out of the trees.

"Rhodey alerted me that his suit recognized a heat signature." Wanda's accent strong and tone unforgiving.

Everyone suddenly froze as they saw a silver streak. Quicksilver was soon seen, feet shoulder width apart, the two flags in either hand. He planted them down into the ground, and as they changed to the Avengers red he said two words loud and clear.

"Beep beep."

The campers more used to the defeat against a different team, walk towards the campfire at a more subdued pace while the Hunters grumbled and bristled, not used to defeat at all.

A few moments after everyone had been seated, the Avengers came in normally- all except Tony. He had somehow coerced Agent into carrying him bridal style. The man was on his Stark Phone(TM) as he giggled. The Agent sighed, rolling her eyes. EctoCore shared a quick look with Scarlet Witch, before dropping Tony. He let out a very manly yelp, but before he hit the ground, red energy caught him.

Cap raised his pointer finger and opened his mouth to say something, eyebrows furrowed. He then sighed, closed his mouth and held his hand out in a 'what can you do' type of pose. The group burst out laughing, clambering to go sit down in their designated section of the amphitheater.

EctoCore sat down, Tony plopping down onto her lap. On the row below her, Hawkeye sat down, allowing her to rest her legs on his shoulders. Natasha sat to the right of Clint, Bruce next to her, Bucky siting on the row above her next to EctoCore. Wanda sat to her left, Pietro next to Clint. Vision sat next to Wanda while Sam, Rhodey, Scott, and Peter sat on the row above Percy.

The Apollo kids started to lead the sing along, but soon enough the Avengers took their place. "When Captain America throws his mighty shield, all foes who chose to oppose his shield must yield! If he's led to a fight and a duel is due, then the red, the white, and the blue will come through when Captain America throws his mighty shield!"

The Captain on the other hand, was blushing slightly, glaring at the group of people around him. Tony smirked, stood up, walked over by the fire, and started singing the national anthem. And that was the last straw, causing Cap to tackle him to the ground and sit on his thighs, one hand on his shoulder so that Tony stayed down. It was an unspoken rule that there was to be no large weight upon Tony's chest- there was scar tissue and a freaking hunk of metal in there- it was bound to hurt. But still, light pressure was allowed-Tony wasn't a delicate flower that needed to be protected all of the time.

But soon enough, the Avengers started to walk towards their shared tent, having a conversation within their shared link.

'Hey Percy- we know that you are in contact with the gods who supported you. But they don't know what you look like, where you are, and what you are doing. How did they know that you could accurately design us weapons?' Sam asked, a few of the others mentally nodding along.

'That's easy. They know that I am in the mortal world and know of you guys. So it would be logical to ask the person who could get the correct information for them. They knew that the team would be needed and once I was able to get the right measurements and such, they could magically deliver them to you. They also believe that I am a nomad of sorts- which isn't too far off since my missions take me everywhere- so it made sense that I had met with Clint and Natasha. So I asked for weapons for them. That's also how they came up with bringing the Avengers in because of my account of my meeting with Clint and Tasha. I do tend to keep those on my side updated on the real world so they knew that they were on the Avengers.'

Everyone nodded, accepting the answer that was given. They getting their pajamas gathered together. The men quickly turned around as the three women quickly changed, the women soon offering the same courtesy for the men. The group shared a smile, seeing the matching pajamas that Clint had picked out for them. A soft black t-shirt with the white Avengers 'A' on it matched with purple pajama pants that had bows and arrows scattered on it.

Rhodey went around zipping up all the windows and the entrances as the team started laying out blankets and pillows.

Annabeth growled. It was humiliating enough to be beat by the Hunters every time they visited. But it was a whole new low when both the Hunters and the campers were beat, even when working together.

Something about Agent EctoCore put her off- it was, when pinpointed, the woman's attitude. Normally, someone like the Agent wouldn't warrant a second thought- there were thousands of mundane people who looked similar to her in the United States alone. But that attitude was something else. So Annabeth made up her mind, stuffing her Yankees cap onto her head before slipping out of her cabin and towards the large tent.

She quietly opened up the flap, tiptoeing inside. She was surprised to find that all the Avengers were sleeping all tangled together in matching sleep wear- yet they oddly fit together like puzzle pieces.

Vision was facing towards the entrance in the middle of the group of bodies, sleeping sitting up in criss cross fashion, fingers tangled in a dog's, Dallie, Annabeth's mind provided, black fur as she lay in his lap.

Antman lay near him, face concealed from her view by his and arm elbow resting across his face. Next was Hawkeye, his back touching Antman's as he spooned Black Widow's cat-like curled up form. Behind Vision lay Thor,  splayed out and comfortable. Near him lay Tony, on his back like Thor; Bruce Banner lay next to Tony, body curled less severely than the Widow, but one hand strayed out and lay on Tony's glowing chest, as if checking to make sure he was okay. On Tony's other side lay Steve Rogers, laying military straight.

On Vision's right side, and a bit in front, lay Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch whom lay next to one another, Quicksilver's arm thrown around his twin's waist. The Agent lay directly to the right of Vision on her right side. Nestled into her, forehead resting against hers while fists had grabbed fistfuls of her shirt was what Annabeth assumed was Spiderman without his suit. Unluckily, Annabeth was unable to get a glimpse of the face. Agent had one hand laying above her head so that Scarlet could hold her hand and Quicksilver could grab her wrist while her left hand was buried in brown hair, as if she was comforting Spiderman as she fell asleep. What Annabeth didn't know was that the reason the teen and young adults were so attached was that they were still shaken about not being able to do anything about the HYDRA agents earlier. Peter had it the worst, reminded how he couldn't help his Uncle Ben.

Most surprisingly however, was that the Winter Soldier had tangled his legs with the Agent's his right arm under her head like a pillow while his metal arm, the arm that could rip car doors off their hinges and easily crush someone, lay looped around the Agents waist, said woman showing no sign of being uncomfortable.

Seeing that everyone was asleep, Annabeth made her way to their bags, wanting to find something to give her leverage against the stuck up, bitchy Agent EctoCore. She was so absorbed in searching that she didn't realize a quiet voice, one belonging to a being known as JARVIS alert the two Avengers on guard that someone invisible was in the tent. What Annabeth did realize was a gun pressing to the back of her neck and a silver arm of an Iron Man suit powering up in front of her face.

"Remove what ever you are using to keep you invisible or we will shoot you." Growled out War Machine. Glancing behind her, she realized that Falcon was the one with the gun. Sighing in defeat, knowing she was caught and had found nothing, she removed her Yankees cap. Annabeth inwardly scolded herself. She was caught by the gods damned sidekicks. The ones picked by the main hero. The unimportant ones. It the team heard the blonde's thoughts she would be in the Fields of Punishment twenty years ago.

War Machine's eyes narrowed as Annabeth came into view, but his arm clad in the single sleeve of armor did not waver. This time Falcon spoke up. "Get out. Now. We won't tell Chiron but out team will know. Next time we will alert Chiron and Dionysius. And we know they won't be pleased and as forgiving as we are."

Annabeth quietly exited, making a note to herself that the Avengers had posted rotating guards, the paranoid bastards. If she wasn't yet again caught up in her thoughts she would have heard quiet exchanged words.

"Thanks J."

"Its no problem Sirs. I too like to protect my family."
