Tony murmured to FRIDAY to get communication going between countries, and allow them to access the small, flying cameras that he let fly. Those cameras would allow people around the world to be aware of what is going on, but allowed strategists to see and be able to react in real time to help the heroes with decision making in this battle. FRIDAY chirped in affirmative, and enlisted JOCASTA for extra help in corralling humans, heroes, and villains as JARVIS needed all of his processing power in helping copilot with Tony as well as piloting the Iron Legion and Tony's customized suits that were en route. 

The Black Order landed first, their ships full of other aliens staying up in the sky. Tony called out their names across the comms as JARVIS had pulled up the information that the Guardians had provided them. "Squidward looking mother fucker is Ebony Maw- we need you Stephen, hand off organizing if you need to, but we need you here. Wanda go with him-" An orange portal spun itself into existence, Stephen nodding to the Avengers as he lifted off. Behind him trailed another person- a woman clothed in purple, a smirk clear on her face. 

"Oh this will be fun! A little chaos witch finally joining the fray! Mr. Sorcerer Supreme over here has a little artifact that I am guessing they want and we have to play keep away." The woman cackled, taking to the air as Ebony Maw flew towards them. "If we make it through this Scarlet, maybe I teach you a thing or two."

"If you think that I would allow you to teach her anything from that book I know you have, Agatha-" Stephen warned.

"Oh you never let a girl have fun, Doctor. But no, that book of mine will stay firmly in my hands. To have such a being of chaos in control of my book may break the multiverse, and even I have a certain amount of self preservation." Agatha cackled, Wanda confused as the two much more experienced sorcerers talked to each other. 

Stephen was the most put together, focusing with surgeons precision as he dodged and attacked in equal measure. Agatha was quite skilled, purple magic crackling around her, runes appearing around her. Wanda let her red magic flow out of her, doing her best to distract Ebony Maw, unknowing that her magic, given by the X-gene and kickstarted by the danger that was experimentation with the Mind Stone would give him some trouble to fight against. 

"Spy triplets should take Proxima Midnight- she's headed towards Vision. On that thought- Quicksilver, Falcon, and Winter, get Vision into the palace and get started on removing that stone from his head. Vision, link up with JOCASTA or FRIDAY, get downloading, just in case." The seven people addressed nodded, running towards their targets. "Corrupted Thranduil is Corvus Glaive, Rhodey and I will cover him. Thor is gathering the remaining battle worthy Asgardians, Cap, Ant Man, and Hulk get Cull Obsidian- the Hulk wannabe." 

The four on their way to the palace ran as fast as they could, the spy trio quickly jumping in front of Proxima Midnight to stop her charge towards Vision. The only female member of the Black order swung her spear, it clashing hard against Riptide. Percy gritted her teeth as the spear- which contained a star trapped inside, which gave it powers of a star, a captured supernova, and a black hole. Percy fell into her training, trusting that Natasha and Clint would work as her cover. She also trusted the Uru, Adamantium, and Celestial Bronze arm guard that protected her Mark of Achilles that Tony had worked on, developing them into nanites so that they would form where she wanted them, removing the need for him to know where her Mark was. Thor had brought back some Uru from when he went on his discovery journey with Bruce, having stopped to create a new weapon on the way home as he went to the last dwarf when he was getting his people away from Thanos. Loki had gone with them, but had become separated in the wormhole that brought them to Sakarr. 

Clashing and fighting was ringing out across the large swath of land that Wakanda had mapped out. With the groups of heroes, they could tag team the Black Order. Cull Obsidian was the first to fall with a roar and a ground shaking smash, Hulk's victory yell calling out over it. 

Tony and Rhodey were in pure sync, having known each other since the former was fourteen and the latter eighteen. They had also practiced together- it was a good way for Rhodes to help his anxiety stricken friend feel like he was helping to prepare for the upcoming invasion. The whine of blasters were constant, Tony glad about upgrading his arc reactors in order to allow them more power. Corvus Glaive was next to fall, getting sliced in half with the high five trick that the two brothers did all those years ago.

Tony glanced over at Proxima, and saw that both Natasha and Clint had been tossed aside, leaving Percy to valiantly fight against her one on one. But an errant spell from Ebony sent her flying into the tree, allowing Proxima to run to where Vision was- the palace. Both Iron pilots barely spared a glance at each other before starting their thrusters and intercepting her. The other heroes were soon distracted as some ships started to land, running towards them, only to be stopped by the shield that flickered into view. The beasts struggled against it, shrieking and clawing at what was stopping them from ripping and tearing. The tribes of Wakanda ran out, ready to fight and protect their homeland, and thus the world. 

The Dora Milaje were a well oiled machine that was killer instinct and grace and beauty given flesh. Percy, when she had first met them, mentioned that she would like to introduce them to the Hunters of Artemis. 

Percy quickly got back up, determined to continue her fight, wanting to give Bucky the ability to not fight, to be able to avoid the conflict if he could. She ran as fast as she could, pulling some water from the ground to soothe her aches as she made her way to Proxima. With the alien distracted by the two flying machines, Percy was able to sneak up behind her and plunge her sword into her back. In all honesty, she was half expecting Proxima to burst into dust like any other monster that she had faced.

"Tony, Rhodes, you should help Shuri with separating Vision from his stone-" Percy was cut off as Wanda let out a cry. Ebony Maw had the Time Stone, and with a flick of his wrist, sending it off. Another roar sounded, but this time from Agatha- she sent her purple magic rushing out, a whirlwind, a flurry of anger and hatred. It grabbed at Maw, pulled at his magic like she did to her coven. Stephen darted in before she could pull it into herself, capturing it with his amber magic, pressing and pulling, destroying it. This freed Agatha to dart forward and kill Ebony Maw once and for all. Knowing that she wasn't needed there anymore, Wanda flew off to fight the wave of animalistic aliens, her red magic floating around here in a bigger cloud than she ever had before. 

"Both of you, now. Loki told me that he had the Space Stone, he wasn't able to change it for a fake as Thanos was able to tell. I'm sure that he already has his hands on the Time Stone and now is getting the Soul Stone. If you can manage to break the Mind Stone, we may be able to stop him. Get Wanda and Pietro, their powers being started my the Mind Stone may have some effect." The two nodded at Percy, flying off. And in the sky, above the aliens that were only now getting through the barrier, a pattern of hexagons formed, one in the center showing dark starry skies. From that hole emerged dozens of large ships, the largest one coming in for a landing as the barrier fully fell. From that large ship emerged a behemoth of an alien, purple skinned and decked out in golden armor. 

Percy rolled her neck, squared her feet, and swung her sword around a few times, to ready herself. Just as she was about to charge, several horns were heard echoing through landscape. From the trees came a large cloud of silver arrows, enough to blot out the sky for a moment, before they rained death upon the Outriders. Silver clad Hunters ran out from the trees, their war cry harmonizing with the Amazons that ran out with them. Behind the two groups emerged the Roman legion and Camp Half Blood. Percy could swear that he could hear the swearing of a certain horse.

Mrs. O'Leary came lumbering out as well, having gone to retrieve the Amazons and the Hunters. At this point, Percy didn't care if she was revealed, she had to stop these aliens, stop Thanos from getting to Vision and the Mind Stone before they could destroy it. And so she removed her dog's disguise, Mrs. O'Leary finally able to be her tank like size once more. Some demigods cried out, but with Thor and Loki stepping into the way, they shook it off and kept their focus on the Outriders. 

"I must fight Thanos, for torturing my brother." Thor declared. Loki glanced at him quickly before glancing away. 

"I know, right now, the others are trying to destroy the Mind Stone, the Black Order is dead. I saw that Thanos has five of the six stones. I think that the three of us can hold him off until some more big shots come." With that Percy hopped up onto her hellhound, offering a hand to Loki. He, of course, took it, and pulled himself up behind her. Letting out a resounding bark, Mrs. O'Leary joined the fray, running towards Thanos, growling loudly. 

Percy and Loki took flying leaps off of Mrs. O'Leary, taking out their blades and landing in a roll to diffuse their momentum. Thor, who had flew beside them, landed as well. The hellhound rushed off to then help the Hunters under Percy's command- the foe that she was about to fight was going to be tough, and she couldn't afford to lose her dog in this. Plus the Hunters knew all about Mrs. O'Leary after all. "THANOS!" Percy called out. "You will not complete your dumb fucking quest. Do you really think that we would bow before you?" 

The Mad Titan laughed. "Perseus Jackson, I have heard whispers of your name among the halls of the dead, just as I have heard of the man of iron that killed my armada- Death's beloved Merchant. Lady Death sent me back you see, multiple times, to bring balance to the universe. I must kill half of all life because you have become too much. Gluttonous beings you are, always wanting for more, always expanding and taking. If I kill you, if I kill half of the universe, Death will finally be with me." Madness glittered in his eyes. 

Percy readied herself. She had been seeing visions for the past couple of nights, terrorizing her. She had seen what Thanos had done, and whispers of what he will do, and it haunted her. The glee of killing ran through his mind, any hope of truly stopping gone when he had killed his own mother in a vain attempt to truly stop himself. He craved power and held death above all, even cursing Deadpool to eternal life so that Wade couldn't be with Death. 

"You are not the first god I have fought. You are not the first Titan I have fought. But you are neither. You are a stupid, infatuated little psychopath who was bullied for his purple skin. And your psycho ramblings- your experimentations on your own daughter? As a member of the female sex and gender, that is just a bunch of red flags- no wonder Death moved on to Deadpool. At least that guy can make a woman laugh."

Thanos charged, enraged. His double-edged, double-ended sword sharp and catching the light. Percy met his sword with her own, feet skidding in the ground before she could anchor herself better. Loki and Thor charged Thanos on either side, forcing him to block the double teaming brothers. The world seemed to slow around Percy, just focused on the next block or slash that she had to do, attacking the Mad Titan and protecting the two gods who fought beside her. 

Thanos was laughing when he sent Thor flying, but a grey skinned guy took his place- Drax. The Guardians had arrived. The Guardians descended, attacking as a unit. As Percy caught her breath though, she noticed something missing. Gamora was gone.

Shaking her head, Percy brushed off what could have happened, but she had a sneaking suspicion, especially when a shambling blue alien, who seemed to be reconnecting her arm got out of Thanos' ship and ran towards the purple ship. Nebula, if Quill's description was to be true, seemed incensed, black eyes fully on her adoptive father. "YOU KILLED MY SISTER!" Nebula shrieked.

Quill faltered, stumbling and almost getting crushed by Thanos' backhand if Thor handn't intercepted. "What?!" Quill yelled back, causing more of the Guardians to hesitate. Percy and Loki dashed forwards to cover their allies as they came to realize that their fellow Guardian died.

"He took her to get the Soul Stone- he sacrificed her for the stone!" Nebula called, attacking the Titans back. Loki was struggling, Nebula easily batted away as she was still reconnecting parts of herself. 

As the Guardians were grumbling by themselves, Percy called out through the comms. "Guys we need some extra hands over here! The Guardians are compromised until they can get their shit together!" Percy got affirmative from Steve and Sam. 

"We got the Mind Stone out but we still need a little while to be able to destroy it. Hold on!" Tony called. Percy felt claws at her back, thankful that she had taken that dip in the Styx. Turning, she fought the Outriders that had made it to them. Thor was also trying to help, his lightning arcing from alien to alien. But that let Thanos to Loki. He was holding him off quite well until Loki was grabbed by the neck.

He was gasping and clawing at the Mad Titan's hand, face turning purple. Percy screeched his name, but both Thor and Percy were caught up in clearing the aliens around them. Suddenly there was a whistling of an arrow. Thanos caught it, dropping Loki so that he didn't let go of his sword. Loki's eyes widened as he saw the blinking red light, scrambling back away from Thanos. And through the comms unit, there was a tense mutter from Clint. "If Percy trusts you- and she has told me that Thanos was the one behind all of this- I can trust you well enough. I'm just a man with a bow and arrow- I've heard you are quite the strong sorcerer. Protect Percy for me." And then the archer, the one severely wronged by Loki during the Battle of Manhattan, muttered the release word in Norse. 

Suddenly Loki was reconnected to the full well of his magic. "You got it, archer." He manifested his battle armor and his horned crown. With a smirk he shimmered out of reality, then suddenly reappeared around Thanos with a dozen doubles all smirking.  Suddenly the arrow blew up, sending Thanos back a few feet. Loki was glad that this time, that arrow didn't blow up in his face.

A double of Loki paired up with Percy, fighting until she was free from the aliens until she could continue to help against Thanos. Just as she turned back, a shield came flying over her shoulder, slamming Thanos in the face, just as he was recovering from the explosion. 

"On your above asshole!" Sam called, shooting bullets at him to further distract him as he and Steven arrived on scene. 

"We have to keep him from using the stones!" Loki called out in their minds with a small spell. "Especially Time and Reality." The group, especially with the Guardians getting themselves together, tag teamed, two to three heroes fighting at a time in order to keep them all fresh and keeping Thanos distracted. 

Rocket ended up next to Percy as the demigod gave him a boost. "I will want that arm that your soldier buddy has," he muttered as they fell back for Thor and Mantis to attack. Percy let out a laugh and let the racoon know that he could have his old one, and that Bucky would more than likely happy to get rid of the HYDRA arm. 

The Avengers who were in the castle, bar Vision who didn't have any powers anymore since he didn't have the stone anymore and was now acting as another eye in the sky, came rushing out. A blast wave seemed to proceed them- the Mind Stone was destroyed. Thanos bellowed in anger, commanding his army to let out those vehicles that were shaped like saw wheels from the landed ships. 

Wanda launched herself up and forward, landing in front of Okoye and Natasha, quickly sending those saw vehicles away from them, cutting into the swaths of aliens around them. "Why was she in the castle all this time?" Okoye demanded.

Natasha let out a short laugh. "She had something more important to do. Now she's here."

Thanos seemed to know that one of the stones was destroyed and laughed at them. "You really think that destroying one stone would be enough? I have the stones that are needed to undo your silly little attempt of defeating them. You have no chance, you puny little mortals!" The red of the Reality Stone and the green of the Time Stone glowed, and the particles of the Mind Stone swirled around, reforming in the setting designated for it in the Gauntlet. Heroes and aliens alike were blown back as all six gems were united in the Infinity Gauntlet. 

Percy got up quickly, quite frankly used to being thrown around, got up first. She quietly crept up behind Thanos as he laughed and touted his plan once more to kill half of the universe in order to impress Lady Death. She brought up her sword and then swung it down quickly against the Gauntlet. Metal rang against metal.

And it broke.

Silence blanketed the field - frankly it blanket the whole world, millions of people glued to their screens that was broadcasting the fight. Alien and hero paused. Then Thanos laughed. His arm lashed out, closing around Percy's neck to lift her off of the ground. She clawed at him, just as Loki had don, legs kicking at him. The heroes that ringed around Thanos readied their weapons, waiting to strike. In the back of her mind, Percy could feel Bucky's alarm, abandoning his post and rushing out of the palace, running as fast as he could to get to her. Her hands started to glow faintly, trying to burn Thanos so that he would drop her. 

The Mad Titan simply smiled and crushed her throat even more- even if he couldn't pierce her skin, she was still vulnerable to a number of different things such as burning and asphyxiation. Unafraid of being attacked with his hostage, he  Thanos pulled her closer before tucking her hair behind her ear and then rubbing her chin with a large thumb. Percy growled at him weakly, squirming as hard as she could- and in response he took his other hand and crushed her ribs until he felt a few cracks, which got her to stop moving.

"Perseus Jackson," Thanos rumbled, his voice echoing out for all to hear. Demigods froze, breaths caught in their chest. A select few started to tear up. And a few glances were tossed a certain way. "You honestly think that breaking my Gauntlet would stop me? It is a mere container for the the power that the Infinity Stones contain. They just need an adequate conduit to combine their magics together- breaking the Gauntlet did nothing more than force me to find a new holder. The Stones will still obey me and you, child of the sea, will fit perfectly for my needs. But I see that you will never willingly obey me as the Stones do; such a pity as you would have been beautiful at the head of my army, as part of my Black Order. But such is the way of the world. It means nothing to me if you give permission or not, you will help me court Lady Death."

Everyone watched, unable to approach for fear of Thanos breaking her neck, not even Bucky daring to do anything as he skidded onto the battlefield. The Stones flew around his hand, allowing him to pluck one out of the air and press it into Percy's skin, his left hand shifting to pull her head back by the nape of her neck and her hair so that he had more access. The Stones burned a small area of the black catsuit that she wore so that they could attach to her skin. As the first stone was placed, Percy let out an earth shattering scream, fully of agony, causing Bucky to stumble as the amount of pain wasn't able to translate through the bond, cutting him off. 

The Power Stone latched onto the small of her back, its winding tendrils of purple power wrapping around her spine to keep itself anchored. The Reality Stone was pushed into the base of her neck, red energy jerking around her neck, connecting together like a gruesome necklace. The Space Stone found its home in Percy's navel, its blue power simply reaching out tendrils under the skin to keep anchor, looking like a star bursting forth. The green Time Stone burned its place into the hollow of her collarbone, wrapping around the bone on either side to stay steady. The Mind Stone was pushed into Percy's forehead in a cruel imitation of where it sat peacefully for Vision, power making a ring around her head like a crown. It was roiling and biting, angry like it was during the invasion after it had been under Thanos' psychotic control. Finally, the Soul Stone was pressed into her sternum, the orange stone nestling between her breasts like the arc reactor. Orange magic slithered around her ribs, caressing her heart.

Suddenly, her voice cut out as Reality tightened around her throat. Thanos laughed, harsh and cruel, turning Percy around to show the Avengers and heroes scattered across the battlefield how her skin blistered as strings of power ran amok just under her scar splattered skin. Wherever there was exposed skin it showed the tendrils, the power gnawing, biting, thrashing, begging to be set free, to be commanded and used. 

Thanos' hand shook her head and neck to gain her attention. Percy's eyes were fully gold, the same hue of the Gauntlet. She stared up at her captor, face slack with the absence of emotion, body barely registering the pain that it was in. Smirking, Thanos leaned down, talking directly into Percy's ear. 

"Destroy all that you once held dear. Destroy the universe so we can birth a new world with a better future. Destroy millions so that I may one day use your husk of a body to hold my dear beloved. Kill until your fingers shake and your bones ache, kill until Death enters you and uses you as a vessel to stay on this mortal plane, kill so that Death can take you over regardless of how loud you scream and beg to be set free from your torment." Percy stiffened under the commands.

"Kill the Avengers and all who stand in your way."
