Hey this is the start of our story! I will place trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter but please tell me if I miss any and I will happily add them. Tw: Car crash, death, injuries, blood

Roman didn't understand much about the world. That would make sense considering he's 4. He didn't understand why Mufasa had to die in the lion king, or why he wasn't allowed to bring his sword in the car, or why suddenly the car was upside down

or why mommy and daddy wouldn't respond to his cries.

Roman didn't remember the car crashing the only thing he could remember was after. He remembered waking up his shoulder digging into his seat belt as he clung to his car seat. He hung upside down crying. His leg hurt and he was bleeding from his face so he could barley see. But from what he could make out he say his mom and dad still sitting in the front seat. Roman yelled for them but didn't get any response. Nor would he ever get one.

Roman cried in his seat when he heard sirens and saw the flashing lights of the ambulance. He cried when the fire men pulled him out of his seat and into their arms. He cried as he was placed in the ambulance and driven to the hospital.

He cried when he learned his mom and dad were dead.

Roman didn't understand a lot of things. Which would make sense because he was only 5. He didn't understand why he couldn't see his mom and dad again, he didn't understand why he had a hard time walking now and his leg always hurt, he didn't understand why he couldn't go back to his room and had to go live with his aunt, he didn't understand why his aunt told him he couldn't stay with her any more.

Roman just didn't understand
