Heyyy... So I'm not dead... Just writers block and sh*tty mental health. But I'm mostly kinda sorta fine right now and my brain wanted some wholesome so we get some fluff in this story have fun

TW: Mention of a death(Just life references to the fact that like.... Virge and Pat had to die to become ghosts)

"Patton! Virgil!" Roman jumped on his bed knowing that his friends would be waiting for him like they always did. Patton laughed and float-sat next to Roman "What is it kiddo?" Roman pushed his upper body up and smiled "Guess."

"Oh just tell us princey" Virgil groaned from across the room. "Noooo you have to guess" Roman whined. "Ok... Can you give me a guess" Patton asked as Roman adjusted himself to be sitting up instead of flopped on his bed. "Mmhh! It's something Dad really likes" Patton gasped "Are you going to school!" Roman nodded excitedly and Patton started jumping up and down "I loved school! It was so much fun and you're going to make so many new friends, and you-"

"Alright Pat calm down. It's just school.... What is school like anyway?"

"Sorry Virge. It's super fun! You get to meet a bunch of new friends and you learn all these cool things like the alphabet, and reading, and adding, and subtracting, and when you get older you get to learn really hard things like multiplying and dividing!" Patton bounced up and down as he remembered when he went to school. Even though he wasn't able to go to school for the most part the year before he died he still remembered every year before that.

"uh huh! And Dad said that he'd drive me to school every day and Remus could still tell me my story in the car to make it less scary too!" Roman still didn't like the car but he could last longer car rides then he used to, especially if he had Remus to tell him a story. "And Janus said that we get to see the school and say hi to my teacher before school starts. And-"

"Hey Roman lunch!" Logan called from the kitchen. Roman jumped from his bed calling "See you later!" to his friends before going to join Logan for lunch. Patton spun around to face Virgil "Isn't that exciting! Romans finally going to make more friends! ...Hey Virgil are you ok?" Virgil was chewing on his nail looking down at Romans carpet. "Yah I just... I don't want Roman to leave us"

"Kiddo you know Roman wouldn't do that to us" Patton said giving Virgil a side hug "Plus you know this is good. It's why we're here isn't it. To help Roman. I've been thinking about why he's the only one who can see us and I think it's because we're suposed to help him."

Virgil let out a breath "I think you're right."

"I know I'm right kiddo. Come on I've been doing this whole ghost thing a lot longer then you have" Patton nudged Virgils shoulder making him snort. "You sure have old man"

"Hey!"

"You said it first!"

"Ok now you're going to get it!" Patton jumped onto Virgil and started tickling his sides. Virgil laughed as he tried to squirm away

"Pat- Stop!!"

"NEVER!!!"

Ok end of chapter my dudes. Sorry it wasn't long especially after such a long hiatus but I hope you liked it. Also a little explanation for why Roman can see Pat and Virgil. They're meant to help Roman and help him get more confident and comfortable and they have with the Logan, Remus, and Janus. Please give me some prompts to write for new chapters guys the writers block is giving me NO IDEAS
