9 Ready for the Wedding

Part 9 Ready for the Wedding

In the meanwhile, / in Ghaziabad

Arnav and Khushi landed at Bosco's elder sister's house. They welcomed them heartedly. They served them breakfast and started asking about their plan.

"Aman, I thought you will come with your girlfriend. I didn't expect the change of pair" Bosco's sister Nancy said, because she said that Aman will be there with Lavanya anytime. Being his friend, Bosco was fully ready to help Aman to get his lady love. But, before that, the situation led Arnav and Khushi to get married. So, they were implementing Aman and Lavanya's plan to get Arnav and Khushi married.

"It doesn't matter at all. We will be happy if we can make someone happy" Nancy's husband Christopher said.

"By the way, what's the plan?" Nancy asked.

"What else? Marriage..." Bosco said.

They nodded ok.

"We have to find a house for them and also a job for Arnav," Bosco said.

"Do you have your certificates?" Christopher asked.

"Yeah... I brought it" Arnav said.

"That's great... we will try for a job..."

Cutting him,

"Before that, we have to get them married, Jeeju. Her father may reach them at any time." Said Aman.

"We will arrange the wedding tomorrow"

"Then, we have to buy a saree and mangal sutra," Nancy said.

"Just buy a saree... we can use this mangal sutra" Aman took the mangal sutra from his pant pocket which he bought for his marriage. He forwarded it to Arnav.

Arnav knew Aman bought it for Lavanya.

"But Aman..."

"We will think of my marriage after yours. Won't you and Khushi do my wedding preparations?" Aman asked seriously.

Arnav nodded yes with a smile.

"I will call a tailor to stitch a blouse for Khushi," Nancy said.

Arnav removed money from his pocket and passed it to Aman.

"Use this for the wedding arrangements..."

Aman nodded ok and took it from him. Khushi went in and brought her savings from her bag. She forwarded it to Arnav. Before Arnav said anything,

"As of now, this is enough, Khushi. we will get it from you if needed" Aman said.

"Keep it, sister," Christopher said.

Arnav gestured for her to keep it. She nodded ok.

"We have to find a Pandit..." Bosco said.

"Is there any temple nearby?" Aman asked.

"Yeah... a temple is in the next street. I think the Pandit of the temple may help us" Nancy said.

"I and Bosco will meet him" Aman stood.

"Ok... tell him everything clearly. Ask him to bring everything because we don't know what to buy. Go and meet him. He may leave, locking the temple" Nancy said.

"Ok, Di. Let's go Aman" Bosco stood.

Aman and Bosco went to the temple to meet the Pandit.

"You guys take a rest for a while," Christopher said to Arnav and Khushi.

"Yeah... till then I will prepare lunch," Nancy said.

"Shall I help you?" Khushi asked.

"No no... you are our guest after all..." Nancy smiled.

"And a Bride too..." Christopher said making her blush.

The couple left the place. Khushi looked at Arnav who looked a little nervous.

"Are you upset with me?" she asked hesitatingly.

"Upset? But why?"

"I just came out of the house without thinking of anything. I didn't even think about whether you have money. I have put you into trouble..."

"It's because you were in trouble... anyone in your place would have done the same. It's obvious you wanted to come to me as we love each other. In fact, I'm glad that you trust me"

"I have no one other than you, Aru"

"Everything will be alright... we will get married. After that, no one could do anything."

"I just want to be with you..."

"You will be..."

She smiled. He extended his palm towards her. She kept hers on his. He entwined her fingers with his and pressed her hand, feeling secure.

"I want to walk with you... hand on hand... endlessly" She said in a gauzy tone.

"We are going to... for our whole life..."

"I always get an image of us standing on the shore of a blatant sea..."

"Blatant sea?" Arnav smiled softly.

"The sea might be blatant but my heart is full of peace because you were with me"

"Always..."

She smiled with satisfaction. They were not this close to each other ever before... they didn't get a chance to talk open-heartedly like this ever before... his smile, his speaking eyes, his gestures, everything seemed factual that she never witnessed with anyone... not even with her had parents.

"I... I would like to see your face when I take my last breath..." she said swallowing the hard gland that troubled her from talking.

"shhh..."

"No, Aru... it's true... your face should be the last one I would like to see before leaving this world" she choked.

Arnav felt the truth in her words. He never realized she had so much of love for him in her heart.

"Hey... relax... why are you getting emotional?"

"I'm scared..."

"I told you... After our marriage, no one could separate us. I'm here for you. I won't let you go away from me"

"I too won't go away from you no matter what... my heart will be wandering you and it always will feel your presence around me"

"Relax, Khushi..."

She leaned on his shoulder closing her eyes. Arnav circled her shoulders gently. She closed her eyes, letting the teardrops go from her eyes. For the very first time, she felt so protective and Arnav felt he had done something useful.

They heard a knock on the door. Khushi stood, getting apart from Arnav's shoulder. Nancy brought a tailor to take measurements of Khushi to stitch a wedding blouse.

"You carry on... I will be waiting outside" Arnav left the room, giving them space.

"When will you give me the blouse?" Nancy asked.

"I will give you within two hours. Don't worry"

She took Khushi's measurements.

"You can tell me if it is not fit... I will alter it" the tailor told Khushi.

Khushi smiled. She didn't mind about the blouse. She just wanted to get married to Arnav. She was even ready to do it in the same salwar she was wearing. Who cares about the attire when the prestigious thing is going to happen?

Aman and Bosco also came back after meeting the Pandit. They almost finished all the wedding arrangements.

"Tomorrow is your wedding... get ready..." Aman winked.

Arnav smiled, looking at Khushi who had forgotten all her tension. Finally, they are getting married tomorrow. Though she was happy she was tensed. She would be... until the wedding is over.

NK got off the bus. He just came back from finishing the interview. He headed to his house as usual. He stopped frowning as one of the friends rushed toward him.

"NK... come on..." he pulled him behind a tree.

"What happened, Guddu?"

"Khushi's father's men are searching for you. They took Arnav's parents into their custody. They took them on house arrest. Linga's myrmidons are guarding them. They came to your house and inquired your parents about you. His men are waiting for you in our area. They will peel your skin off if you get caught. Get rid of somewhere..." Guddu warned him panicking.

Guddu stopped an auto and gestured for NK to sit in it.

"Don't even dare enter Delhi for a few days. Don't even tell anyone where you are. After three or four days, come to my office. I will tell you the condition of the issue"

The auto started towards the city bus stand. NK was nervous. He wanted to contact Arnav and Aman and tell them about the current scenario but he didn't know the proper address of Bosco's sister's house. So, he decided to go to his relative's house which was in Noida.

To be continued...
