I watched Eden as she slept in the hospital bed. I'm so glad she's safe now, I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if something happened to her.

A distraught look appeared on her face as she began moving around. "No." I heard her mumble

"Baby girl, wake up" I said, seeing she was having a bad dream

"Please don't hurt him" she began crying

I started tapping her

"No! No! No!" she yelled

"E!" I shook her, finally waking her up

She looked at me with wide, tear filled eyes "I-I'm sorry"

"It's ok, sweetheart" I pecked her forehead "Wanna tell me what it was about?" I asked, referring to her dream

"They killed you" she said, wiping her eyes

I sighed, seeing that she was mentally scarred from the situation.

"I'm still here babe." I grabbed her hand "I ain't going nowhere and you got my word" I kissed it

She nodded and let out a sigh of relief

"And about the whole cheating thing, I was drugged I swear. Candice admitted to it, she's crazy as shit. I won't involve myself with her no more, trust me."

"I kinda figured it had to be something like that" she said "I was hoping that you hadn't willingly cheated on me"

"Then why'd you get upset with me?" I groaned

"I wasn't 100 percent sure. I said I kinda figured" she smirked "Give me some slack, she had a video of y'all, I didn't know who to believe"

"I feel you" I said truthfully

"I love you" she gave a small smile

"I love you too, baby" I said

"Oh my goodness!" she quickly sat up "The baby..." she face palmed herself "Did I lose it?" Her face saddened

"The doctors haven't told me anything yet" I sighed "You lost a lot of blood though"

"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, the timing was just never right." she shook her head

"It's ok, I understand." I gave her a reassuring nod

"Ms. Jacobs?" The doctor knocked on the door

"Come in" Eden said

"Hi, I'm Dr. Wilson" she shook her hand "You're a little dehydrated and have some slight malnutrition going on, so we'll be keeping you overnight just to make sure everything improves. We've taken care of all of your external bodily damages, they should heal with time. Give it a month or-"

"Sorry to interrupt, but what about the baby?" Eden asked

"Yeah, is our baby ok?" I added

"Your baby is perfectly fine" the doctor smiled "You all have a little fighter "Do you have any more questions?"

"What caused all that blood?" I asked

"Most of the time it comes from stress. But I assure you that your baby is perfectly fine" she answered

"How far along am I?" Eden asked

"About four months" she said "I can bring back the materials to do an ultrasound on my next round if you'd like"

Her face lit up with joy "Yes please"

"Ok, I'll be back in about two hours" she left out

"Babe" Eden grinned at me "We're gonna be parents"

"My baby's having my baby" I hugged her 

"Yeah, and we're hungry" she chuckled "We don't want no hospital food neither"

"What you want, fat butt?"

"A 20 count nugget from Chick-fil-A, a large fry and a vanilla shake from Rally's, and some hot Funyuns"

"I'll be back as fast as I can." I grabbed my keys

"Ok. Come here" she puckered her lips "I love you"

"I love you too" I gave her a few pecks before leaving out

I got my girl back, we're about to start a family, my life is mostly drama free right now. There's just one more person I have to deal with.
