Eden

"I can't believe you tried to kill me" I could see Nick shaking his head through my one blurry eye

"Water" I said, almost inaudible

"Oh you thirsty?" he asked

I nodded

"Too damn bad!" He slapped my already bruised face

I wanted to cry out, but my throat was too dry.

"P-Please" I croaked

"Fine" I heard him get up and pour a liquid into a glass. "Here"

He placed it to my lips and a strong smell hit my nose. "I can't" I shook my head

"Fucking dummy" he poured the liquor on me

I hissed in pain as it dripped over all the cuts on my skin.

Chris please hurry up

"You do know we're gonna kill you and Chris, right?" He kneeled down, staring at me "Yup, soon as he hands over everything he's a dead man." he smiled

I wanted to spit in his face so bad, but I knew it'd only make things worse.

"Then were gonna have some fun with you" he rubbed on my thighs "After that, you'll be dead too" he laughed

"Kill me now and let Chris live" I said

"No can do" he shook his head "We need both of you gone"

"Please don't hurt him" I begged "Please, I'll do anything"

"Anything?" He smirked, grabbing my face, digging his nails into my cheeks

I nodded and lowered my eyes in shame, already knowing what he had in mind.

He forcefully pressed his lips onto mine, shoving his tongue in my mouth. I instantly felt sick to my stomach by his actions. Without me knowing, vomit came up and sprayed into his mouth. Since I hadn't eaten anything, it was mostly stomach acids

"What the fuck!" He backed away "Did you just throw up in my mouth!?"

"It won't kill you" I said sluggishly

"You little bitch!" He drew his fist back, ready to punch me

"Nick!" Janae shouted "Chris has arrived" an evil grin appeared on her lips "Get ready"

My heart instantly dropped

They're going to kill him.

"I'm going to unchain your feet, if you try anything I'll blow your head off" Nick said to me

Chris

"Hello Chris" Janae came from the back room

"Where is she?" I asked referring to Eden

"Don't worry about her, ready to hand everything over?"

"For her I am" I said truthfully "But before I do, I have something to say"

"What is it?" she scoffed

"You went about this whole plan pretty well. But there's one thing you forgot"

"What?"

"To make sure I didn't have any weapons on me" I pulled out my gun and shot her in the chest.

She slid down the wall, holding the wound. She wasn't dead yet, so I walked over to her.

"Please" she coughed up blood "I love you" she reached out for me

"All these crazy bitches in love with me" I shook my head before shooting her between the eyes

I watched as she took her last breath and her body became limp.
As I turned around, a gunshot fired off

"Chris, my friend, glad you could join us" Nick said

He had one arm around Eden's neck and a gun pointed to her head.

"Chris" she cried

She had bruises on every visible part of her body, her lip was busted, her hair was slightly matted, her eyes were blacked- one of them even swollen shut-, and she could barely stand.

"Everything's gonna be ok baby" I said to her

"I see you killed my sister" Nick made notice of Janae's dead body

"Sister?" I asked "The fuck?"

"Yes, we're siblings- or should I say were" he chuckled "She was always a brat, trying to run everything and everyone. You've done me a pleasant favor. I wish I could do the same, but nothing here is gonna be pleasant"

"We had a deal, just let her go man" I said

"Put your gun down" he said

I looked at Eden and she had nothing but fear written all over her.

"Put it down or she dies" he pressed the gun to her head

"Chris no" she cried

"Ok, Ok" I slowly sat the gun down "Now let her go"

He pushed Eden to the ground, then aimed the gun at me "So stupid" he shook his head before shooting at me

I ducked, causing the bullet to graze my cheek. Before I could pick up my gun, another shot went off. I quickly looked up and Nick's lifeless body was laying on the ground, with Josh standing over it.

"You good?" He asked me

"Yeah" I said while running over to Eden

I embraced her tightly as she cried. "I love you so much" I said

"I- Ah!" she shrieked in pain, grabbing her stomach

"E, you're bleeding" I said, seeing blood running down her legs

"The baby" she cried

The baby?

"Bring the car around!" I shouted to Josh, picking Eden up off the ground

I hid as I watched the whole thing play out. After I saw Nick and Janae die right before my eyes, I changed my mind about trying to kill Chris. Why would I give up my own life? I know another way to get my revenge. He hasn't seen the last of me yet. He will suffer. Even if it takes years
