-three days later

Chris

My phone rang, soon as I dozed off for the first time in three days. I've been searching everywhere for Eden, but she's nowhere to be found.

"Hello?" I answered

"I got her" Nick's chuckle came through the other end of the phone

"Nigga you not dumb, you better stop playing" I said through gritted teeth.

"You think I'm playing? Listen to this" he said

"Chris, help me!" Eden's hoarse voice said

"I'm gonna find you baby, I promise" I quickly said

"Nick and Janae have me at-" her sentence was cut short

"That's enough" Nick said "Now, let's discuss what's going to happen"

"What's gonna happen is, you not gone touch her, you gonna tell me where y'all at so I can come get her, then I'ma kill yo ass" I said, getting angry

"If I we're you, I'd watch my mouth. I got full access to Eden's nice little body" he chuckled lowly

"If you fucking touch her, I promise I'll torture yo ass for weeks."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Chrissy boy" he smacked his teeth "This is my last time telling you to shut up and listen"

"Stop fucking playing around and talk!" I yelled

"Fine, you have 2 days to give me 80,000 and your entire empire. If I don't get it in exactly two days, she's dead" he explained

"You gotta tell me where y'all at first" I said

"I'll tell you when it's time for you to deliver" he said "And if you even attempt to find her before I give you the address, I'll let my entire crew have their way with her" he hung up

"Fuck man!" I yelled in anger

"What's wrong?" Sean asked, rolling a blunt

He got out of the hospital yesterday, I've decided to let him stay with me until he fully heals, and until this situation with Eden dies down.

"Nick and Janae got her" I sighed, running my hands down my face

"Let's go get kill them and get her then" he said

"You just got out the hospital, I ain't getting you involved in none of this." I said to him "I can't go get her anyway"

"Why not?"

"He threatened to let every nigga in his crew have a go at her. I don't wanna take any chances of her getting hurt"

"I feel you" he nodded "What he want in return?"

"80 grand and my entire empire" I rested my elbows on my knees

"You gone give it to him?" He asked, lighting the blunt

"I'm gonna try my best not to, but if that's what it takes then I'll give it all up for her"

Eden

"Please just let me go" I cried "He'll still give you everything you've asked for"

I haven't had anything to eat or drink in two days, and they've been coming in here and beating me until I pass out.
They let me take a shower and have me some big shirts to slip in, but that's it.

"Too risky, baby girl" he shook his head, rubbing my thigh

I felt nothing but pure disgust from him touching me. But I got a plan

"Can I have something to eat? It's been three days"

"Janae said not to feed you" he said

"Come on Nick, I thought you said she doesn't run you" I grinned at him

"She doesn't, but she's my big sister and we're in this together" he looked away from me

"Hey, look at me. You're a strong man, don't let her run you" I lied

"You think so?" He smiled

"I know so. You could beat her and Chris's ass any day" I was playing my part very well

"I could, huh?" He asked rhetorically, smiling

"Sure could." I smiled

"I'll go get you something to eat" he stood up

"You think you could take these chains off? My wrist and ankles are sore" I pouted

"Don't press your luck" he pat my cheek "I'll be back"

"You're right. Sorry baby"

He blushed and did a girly ass chuckle before leaving out.

What he didn't see was the key that slipped out of his pocket. All I have to do is unlock these chains, then I can escape.

After 30 minutes of trying, I finally rid myself of the chains. But of course the door to the room is locked from the outside. I began to search around the room for things to hit them with when they came back in. I found a heavy pipe in the corner, I picked it up and waited behind the door.

"Why would you buy her food?!" I heard Janae's voice

"We can't starve her" Nick responded

"I want that bitch to suffer" she responded before opening the door

I heard her heels click as she slowly stepped in the room.

"Where is she?" She asked him

"Right here bitch" I said, coming from behind the door and hitting her in the head with the pipe

She passed out and I searched her for some car keys to get the hell out of here.

"I can't let you leave" I felt a gun being held to my head

"Nick please" I sighed, not moving a muscle

"If you go, then the deal with Chris doesn't go as planned" his voice shook "So just get up and let me chain you back to the chair"

I slowly stood up and turned around to face him "Why you shaking, Nick? You scared?"

"I don't wanna kill you, just do what I said"

"I don't think you'd kill me" I placed my hand on his hand with the gun in it "Why would you wanna kill someone you love?"

"You're getting in the way of things"

"Actually..." I trailed off "You're in the way" I snatched the gun

I shot him, but I'm not sure where, I wasn't worried about that at this point, it was enough to make him drop. I grabbed the keys from Janae's pocket and ran out the door.

I was completely lost, but I never stopped running. But when I turned a corner, a punch came flying towards my face

"Hello Eden" Chris's old friend, Kevin, smiled evilly at me

"Goodbye Kevin" I pulled the trigger on the gun, hearing a click

"All out of bullets?" He chuckled "We knew you'd pull something like this"

"Fuck" I said through gritted teeth

"Get the hell up" he yanked me up by my arm

"You're in on this too huh? You fucking backstabber" I said as he pulled me back to the room

"Shut the hell up" he grumbled

"Weak ass bitch, couldn't be your own man so you crawled under another one" I shook my head

"I said shut the fuck up!" He slammed me against a wall and wrapped his hand around my throat, squeezing it

"S-St-op" I wheezed out, my feet dangling from the ground

"Your ass just wouldn't give me a chance, you had to pick Chris. You knew I wanted you!" He squeezed tighter

At this point, I couldn't speak nor breathe. My eyes watered up as my body was going limp

"No money if she's dead, dumbass" Janae came from around the corner

He let go of my throat and I dropped to the ground, gasping for air.

"You should've killed me, because now I'ma beat your ass" she pulled me up and took me in the room

"Go get my whips and some matches" she instructed Kevin

I felt like I couldn't breathe, my vision was blurry, and my heart rate was slowing down . I felt like I could pass out any minute now

"Where's-Where's Nick?" I noticed he wasn't where I left him

"Getting his shoulder patched up, nice aim" she said sarcastically before sending a few punches to my face, making me fall to the floor

I tried to fight back, but I didn't have the strength.
